"Spade... why is there a tiny {Y/N} sitting on the counter?"

"I-is this FR?" Cater asked, dumbfounded. "Holy baloney!"

"I-It's not what it looks like! It wasn't my fault!" Deuce protested.

"Yea!" You chimed in. "Something happened to me at my dorm!"

Cater walked over to you and instantly took his phone out. He snapped several pictures and smiled. "This is gonna go viral on MagiCam! Everyone'll love it! You'll be the Little Legend! And I'll get tons of followers!"

"Cater-senpai, please stop," you said. Cater would never change; MagiCam was his life.

"Cater, if you post that there's a chance that—"

"Done! Nice shot!" Cater said, grinning. "Don't worry, I'll tag you Deuce-chan!"

Trey sighed. "Cater... anyways, what happened? Are you hurt?"

You shook your head. "No, but thank you, Clover-senpai. And I don't know what happened. One moment, I'm big, the next, I'm smaller than a finger! This sucks, too. I have something planned Saturday. I have to hurry and get back to normal!"

"Well, we could take you to see Crewel-san. He'll know what to do," Trey said. "I have science club in a few, so I can take you there."

"Thank you Senpai!" you called.

"Aww, already? You're totes adorbs like that!" Cater complained.

"Sorry, Cater. They've gotta get back," Trey said.

"Ok... just make sure the Housewarden doesn't find them first or—"

"Trey! Cater! Deuce!"

They froze. Slowly turning towards the door, a familiar and angry face stood there, arms folded over his chest. You felt your heart drop and shatter.

"He's here... the Housewarden!"

Riddle Rosehearts, Housewarden of Heartslabyul, and one of the most terrifying people at the school, had arrived.

"Riddle..." You backed away and looked for a hiding spot. Deuce took the cookie he gave to you and quickly shoved it in his mouth. Cater and Trey moved in front of the table and gave Riddle awkward smiles.

"H-hey, Riddle! Looking cute as ever," Cater said, laughing.

Riddle scowled.

"Hi, Riddle. W-what're you doing here?" Trey asked.

"Cater, Trey, and Deuce. Explain what you're all doing here. Now."

You dove behind a jar of sugar and quickly looked for an escape. The door behind Riddle seemed infinitely far away, and there was a window leading out to the rose garden just behind you. It would take even longer to walk out from the roses, not to mention how thorny they would be.

"We were just eating cookies," Deuce replied. "T-Trey-senpai's homemade cookies are the best here."

Riddle frowned. He looked around Cater and stared at the sugar jar. "Were you about to make something, Trey? Why is the sugar out?"

Trey started sweating. "O-oh, no reason. Guess I forgot to put it away, huh? Funny, right?"

Riddle pushed past the two and took the sugar off the table. You quickly scrambled out from behind and rolled behind a pile of napkins.

"Hmm..." Riddle murmured. He put the sugar down roughly and kept searching.

"Looking for something?" Trey asked.

"Not particularly... but you wouldn't happen to know where {Y/N}-san is, right?"

Riddle shoved his phone in Trey's face. Cater gasped and looked at Deuce. Deuce shook his head and mumbled, "Oh boy..."

"Uh oh... this is prolly REAL bad. Trey, what do we do?" Cater asked.

"I don't know, just don't say anything," Trey said from gritted teeth.

"Cater-senpai, this is your fault!" Deuce hissed angrily.

"Eh, IKR? Sorry again, Deuce-chan," Cater whispered.

"I want an answer, you three, and I want one NOW. Where. Is. {Y/N}?"

You looked around the napkins and quietly crawled out. You rolled past a large plate and looked at the leg of the table. With quiet steps, you edged towards it and went to slide down.

"We don't know, Riddle," Trey said. "Honestly."

"Really?... then what's THAT?!"

Riddle slammed his boot right in front of you. You screamed and stumbled backwards. Looking up, up, and up, you saw Riddle angrily staring down at you. His face was contorted into a look of deep rage.

"You lied to me... all of you! {Y/N}, what are you doing? Do you think this is funny?"

You shrieked in fear and got up, preparing to run. Riddle pointed his staff at you and shouted, "I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD FOR THIS!! Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU MESS AROUND WITH POTIONS!!"

You covered your eyes as Riddle was about to shoot his magic at you, when someone yelled and jumped at him. Riddle had no time to react when a large figure pushed him to the floor.

"WHO DARES?!"

"{Y/N}!! RUN!!"

Ace had tackled Riddle, and when he shouted this you wasted no time getting up and running. Riddle swiped at you, and he almost caught you had you not ducked. You jumped up and kept running until you managed to turn out the door.

"OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!!"

Several locks sealed themselves shut. You knew you were in deep trouble if he caught you. Ace, Deuce, Cater, and Trey yelled in pain as their magic was now sealed behind the magic collar.

BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.

You were flung into the air as angry stomping shook the ground beneath you. Riddle's face was bright red with complete anger. "{Y/N}!!!!!!"

You scrambled up to your feet and took off again. Riddle began to chase after you. "What the hell?! He's fast!"

You dove beneath a table and quickly crawled to the other side. You got back up again and looked up. "The door!"

You hurriedly crouched under the door and slipped outside the dorm. You started running towards the mirror.

"{Y/N}!!! GET BACK HERE!!"

You shrieked and dodged when Riddle lunged at you. He landed in front of the mirror and groaned in pain. You seized this chance and dove into the mirror.

"WAH!!"

You rolled out into the mirror chamber and paused. You were thoroughly out of breath. A huge sense of relief washed over you.

However, this feeling didn't last long. Riddle followed you through the mirror. He got to his feet and angrily yelled.

You scrambled away and looked around for an escape. Looking up, you saw another students walking to a different mirror. You ran towards them and grabbed the cuff of their pants, pulling yourself up and inside. Riddle searched for you, but to no avail.

"NO!!!"

Even though he was gone, you knew it wouldn't be long before he came back. With a sigh of temporary relief, you closed your eyes and fell backwards from exhaustion. You were finally free from the rule of the Rose Red Tyrant.
