"Why are there two dots?" I asked.
I was the first one to ask a question. It was silence after a horse - man announced his "proclamation" and declared Mary the "daughter of Rhea?" Who's Rhea? Mary is the daughter of Malia, not some human legend... right?
"What?" said Anabeth. From the first time she talked to me, I could tell that she was the smartest and the best person to talk to about knowledge.
I pointed up at the two golden dots above the crown.
"That means she isn't a daughter of Rhea; she is a legacy of Rhea second removed." said Will
"What?"
"It means her mother was the demigod."
"No! Mary's mother was Nierce, not human." I protest.
"Nierce?" Anabeth asked. "I thought you were all Elves!"
"Elves? No! Me and Mary are Nierce." I answer.
"What's Nierce?"
" A country of people that are great warriors, don't live short lives, and are umm, not exactly companions of the Elves." Mary answers.
Her emerald - green eyes caught mine and she blushed. I could tell she was embarrassed of having everyone look at her.
"Oh Michael...."
"Yes?"
"I forgot to tell you that while you were missing, I discovered that My mom is actually an Elf, not Nierce"
"What!!?"
"Yeah. It definitely explains how I can imitate people so well. She was a polyglot as well as a hydrokinetic. So, yeah, their theory might actually make sense."
"So, you are half Nierce, half Elf, and a legacy all at the same time?" I asked.
"Pretty much." said Annabeth.
A bunch of teenagers came to the scene.
I got out my sword and raised it at them. I was still week, but not too much to not be able to defend myself.
"No Mich.," said Mary. "They are good!"
" Yeah! Sophie, Keefe, Fitz, Wylie, Linh, Biana, and Dex are good, though I am not completely sure about Tam." Said Will.
Were they good? What kind of names were those? ELVIN NAMES I realized.
I stepped closer to intercept them. As they got closer, I noticed that the boy next to the blond girl looked uncannily like a copycat of my image. It was freaky. He seemed to notice that to. They spoke together in the enlightened language. And, thanks to Mary's extensive drilling into my mind those words, I understood what they were saying and was able to respond.
"Why does he look so much like you Keefe?" A dark-haired boy with teal eyes directed to the copycat which must have been Keefe.
"He copied me." I answered him.
When Mary came up to intervene...
"Hi Mary! Are you ok?" Said the blond girl.
"Yeah. Umm.... Sophie, Lord Sulkypants, Wonderboy, Biana, Dex, Linh, Tam, meet Michael Varex, Mich, meet my Elvin friends."
"Mary! I said it was Lord Hunkyhair!" Said Keefe.
Mary shot him a death glare, and Keefe backed off. I knew the feeling.
"Hi" I said hesitantly.
"Hi" they all said back.
I saw Tam's shadow creeping towards me, and I blasted it with light.
"Hey!" Tam complained.
"Why was that happening?"
"He was just trying to take a reading of your good and evil potential" Said Linh.
"No thanks"
"Then you have something to hide, just like Lord Loveshisstupidhair over there."
"Hey!" We both said in unison.
"One, I have nothing to hide, 2, my hair is awesome and yours is stupid, Bangs Boy!" Shouted Keefe.
"I have nothing to hid either!" I protested. While we were bickering, the other people at this camp were staring at us. Then something weird happened. The sun blotched out. The gentile breeze turned into a storm, and a loud, raspy voice boomed:
"Beware the divide! Find the stone of the great, bring it to the orange ones, seal fate, and heal the divine!"
"Uh Oh!" Was all I heard when the world faded into darkness.
A/N: Sorry, I haven't been able to publish in a while! I had writer's block. Sorry for the bad prophesies, I am just making this up as I go along! P.S. The "Divine" is a deity. Just saying!
