Bellatrix didn't necessarily have a use for the girl, but she would never pass up an opportunity to torture her. She only wished she'd be the one to kill her.

Bellatrix took a knife from her robe, turning around and freeing Hermione from the rope tying her to Ron and Harry. Alexandra watched as Harry and Ron were taken into the cellar while Hermione was dragged by the hair towards her. Bellatrix used one hand to hold onto Hermione whole her other held her knife to Alexandra's neck.

"How did you get into my vault?" She asked Hermione. Hermione shook her head, insisting she never did anything. She let out a loud sob when she watched Bellatrix pull her hand back and slash Alexandra across the cheek, sending Alexandra to her knees as she screamed in pain.

"Please, she didn't do anything," Hermione cried, ignoring the echoes of Ron's screams below her.

"Be quiet!" Bellatrix yelled. She handed Narcissa the knife, ordering her to keep it against Alexandra's neck while the witch reached for her wand. She pointed it at Hermione, mumbling a spell Alexandra recognized all too well. Hermione joined Alexandra on the cold marble floor, screaming and writhing in pain. Bellatrix fell with Hermione, holding her shoulders down and hovering over her threateningly.

While Bellatrix wasn't paying attention, Narcissa slightly dropped the knife so it was away from Alexandra's neck in fear that Alexandra would accidentally cut her own throat during her struggle to help her friend.

"Stop! Stop it!" Alexandra screamed, only becoming louder when she felt a familiar pain shoot through her body. Narcissa struggled to hold onto the girl as she flailed before suddenly falling limp, dropping the knife in the process.

As soon as Alexandra's screams stopped, Hermione's started once again. All Alexandra could do was cry silently as she unwillingly watched her best friend be tortured.

Recently, Alexandra hasn't been able to handle much pain without quickly falling weak. Both her body and mind could no longer handle the torture as she once had.

"How did you get into my vault?" Bellatrix asked Hermione once again. "Did that Goblin help you?"

"We only just met him," Hermione cried. "I swear we've never been inside your vault. The sword is only a copy!"

"A copy? It's unlikely-"

"We can find out," Draco stated, re-entering the room. "The goblin would know if it's real or fake."

"Good thinking, my boy," Lucius boasted. "Go fetch the goblin."

Draco did exactly that, successfully diffusing the situation long enough to bring both girls a moment of relief as everyone's attention was now brought to the goblin. He waited patiently for the goblin to examine the sword, silently hoping Granger was being truthful.

A loud noise was heard, and Bellatrix began to panic.

"What was that?"

"I'll go-" Draco began.

"No!" Bellatrix protested. "Wormtail. Go."

Alexandra hasn't even noticed Wormtail was in the room, but watched him as he retreated down the stairs towards the cellar. It was silent for a moment before Bellatrix redirected her attention to the goblin.

"Well?" She asked.

"It's a fake," the goblin told her, causing both girls as well as Draco to let out small sighs of relief.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Good," Bellatrix let out a similar sigh of relief, evidently relaxing. She laughed to herself, flicking her wand and causing a deep slash across the goblin's face, only slightly less severe than Alexandra's. "Let's call the Dark Lord, shall we?"

"It isn't him," Alexandra said quietly, her voice shaky. "He'll kill you all if you're wrong."

"I thought I told you to be quiet!" Bellatrix yelled, sending more pain through Alexandra's body. Harry and Ron, having escaped the cellar, watched their friend as she screamed and cried until she couldn't anymore. Bellatrix laughed, rolling her sleeve up and calling her master.

"Draco, bring the girl to the yard until the Dark Lord arrives," Bellatrix ordered. Draco lifted the barely conscious girl off of the floor, holding her as she dangled limply in his arms. "Greyback, you can dispose of the mudblood as well. Make sure Miss River sees you when you-"

"No!" Ron yelled, tired of hiding. Him and Harry ran after Ron, joining him as they burst into the room and began firing spell after spell, disarming Bellatrix. Draco quickly placed the girl down on the floor behind a sofa before joining the fight himself. Harry made his way behind the sofa, both to check on his friend and avoid the spells being sent his way.

"Stop!" Bellatrix yelled, grabbing Hermione off of the floor and holding the knife to her throat. "Or she dies!"

Harry and Ron dropped their wands when they saw blood beginning to surround the knife, and Bellatrix smiled victoriously.

"Draco, pick them up and retrieve the girl. Her death approaches with yours, Harry Potter!" She sang, laughing to herself.

"You're not going to die," Draco assured the girl quietly, noticing her sobbing behind the couch. He felt just as hopeless as her, but the Weasley girl told him he needed to give her a reason to survive, and that's what he was going to do.

"You can't save me," she cried. Draco took his wand out of the bunch he held in his hands and handed it to her.

"Can you stand?" He asked. She nodded, and he helped her up. He held her hands behind her back, blending his wand within the others as she held it. He walked her towards the crowd where he noticed everybody looking at the ceiling. The pair looked themselves, noticing the chandelier above them wobbling. Suddenly, it began to fall.

Bellatrix threw Hermione to the ground, running out of the way while Draco quickly let go of Alexandra and stood in front of her. He attempted to shield her, not having time to turn his face away from the flying glass before it struck him. Suddenly, Alexandra felt a yank at her arm as she was pulled away, stumbling back as she watched Harry wrestle Draco for the bundle of wands. Harry eventually won, using the remaining two wands to send Greyback to the ground.

"Dobby!" Narcissa yelled, pointing her want at the entryway as everybody fell silent.

"You must not hurt Harry Potter," Dobby said shakily. Narcissa was instructed to kill the elf, but her wand flew out of her hands before she could.

"Ron!" Harry called, throwing him a wand before running to retrieve the goblin from the rubble. He hoisted the goblin over his shoulder, grabbing Dobby's hand and nodding to Ron before disapparating. Ron, already holding Hermione over his own shoulder, grabbed onto Alexandra's hand and disapparated himself.

Alexandra made eye contact with Draco for a split second before finally escaping her never ending nightmare at last. Draco's body relaxed, and his mother put her hand on his shoulder as they watched Alexandra successfully escape. Their relief would only last a moment, though, as Voldemort finally arrived at the scene.
