Over the last few weeks, Ellie continued to struggle with her feelings for Jeff and Sam. She considered cutting off contact with both of them. However she couldn't for two reasons. One, because she and Jeff were champions and two, because working with them it would be difficult.

Ellie and Jeff continued to successfully defend their championships. As much as Ellie tried to resist, she and Jeff periodically sleep together, as they traveled between promotions.

This Wednesday Ellie and Jeff were back at AEW. The show hadn't started yet. Ellie was in catering. Sam came walking by. She noticed her looked irritated.

"Hi Sam." He ignored her. "What's wrong?" He walked past her. She was very confused.

An hour later Ellie and Jeff were getting ready to go out for their match.

"Spend the night with me tonight." Jeff said.

"No."

"How come you never stay with me when we're here?"

"Maybe I have willpower here." Jeff's music came on. He gently squeezed her left hand before he went out, because he knew they couldn't kiss. He used to do that when they were dating. They won their match.

After the show Sam heard a knock at his hotel room door. When he answered it Ellie was standing there.

"What do you want Ellie?" He said annoyed.

"I don't know what your problem is, but we're talking." She went inside.

"Ok, you wanna talk?"

"Yeah."

"Let's talk about how you lied to me."

"What?" She said confused. "About what?"

"You and Jeff."

"What are you talking about?" Sam got his phone, went to Twitter and went to a video that looked fan shot. It showed Ellie and Jeff kissing at an outdoor restaurant. "It's not what you think."

"It looks like you're kissing."

"We are but we're not back together.

"Are you sleeping with him?"

"That's none of your business."

"I'll take that as a yes."

"Why do you care so much?"

"It doesn't matter." "Please leave."

"Sam, talk to me."

"No."

"Ok, I do still have feelings for Jeff." She went up to him. "I also have feelings for you." "I love spending time with you." "If I hurt your feelings, I'm sorry." She kissed him. He was still mad but he kissed her back. They went into the bedroom within seconds they were both naked.

Afterwards they were laying there. He kissed her.

"I love you, that's why I'm so upset." Sam said. "I think you love me too."

She didn't say anything and kissed him.
