It had been two weeks since Lily had gotten tested and results were in.

When Lily opened the results her heart sank.

Not a match is what she read.

Lily knew Amy and Ty were going to heartbroken.

They were all really hoping Lily would be a match.

Amy and Ty were doing the dishes together when the phone rang.

When he saw saw Amy Luke stood and gave her the garbage can to hold for Lyndy.

Mommy Lyndy cried.

I'm right here sweetheart are you okay Amy asked.

No I don't feel good I'm sorry Lyndy said through tears .

You have nothing to be sorry for sweetie it's okay Amy said.

I made Luke hold the garbage can Lyndy said.

It's okay Lyndy Luke said.

See he doesn't mind Amy said trying to get Lyndy to calm down.

I know I just don't being sick Lyndy said still throwing up.

Amy couldn't stand seeing Lyndy so sick.

She had gone from her normal healthy energetic self to a very sick little girl in a matter of months and it broke Amy's heart.

After Lyndy finished throwing up all she wanted to was sleep.

Amy gave Lyndy a bath, chagrined her sheets and layed her down for a nap.

After Amy knew Lyndy was sleeping soundly she went into the living room and sat on the couch feeling defeated.

How is she Lily asked sitting on the couch beside Amy.

Not good Amy admitted.

Oh Amy I'm so sorry Lily said hugging her.

It's okay I just hate that sick and knowing I can't do anything about it Amy said on the verge of tears.

I can't imagine how hard this is for both you and Ty Lily said.

It is but Ty has been amazing Amy said.

Not to be bias but isn't that to be expected Lily asked smiling.

I guess Amy laughed.

Hey I got a laugh Lily said smiling.

That night after Lily left and the kids Amy decided to call the donor bank and see it they had any matches.

I'm sorry ma'am there are no matches for your daughter right now your doctor will call you if we find a match a  female voice on the other end of the line said.

No please there's gotta be someone Amy said desperately.

I'm sorry ma'am there isn't the woman said her softer this time 

Is there anyone else that can help you maybe  a family member the woman asked .

No there is no one else they've all been tested Amy said.
Well I'm sorry but  there's nothing I can do the woman said .

It's okay thank you Amy said even though was disappointed .

Amy sat the phone down on the next to her and started crying 

Little did she know Ty had heard the entire conversation.

It's okay Amy Ty said sitting down on the couch next to her.

Ty what we going to do we're running out of time Amy said.

I don't know but we'll get through it Ty said.

The next day Andrea to Luke up..

About a week ago Clint told Amy and Ty that Luke would be moving back in with Andrea.

Even though they were sad to see him go they knew it was best for Luke  .

Hey sunshine I missed you Andrea said hugging Luke.

I missed you too Luke said hugging her back.

How's this little one doing Andrea asked tickling Lyndy.

Lyndy giggled.

Ask her Amy said.

I'm better than yesterday Lyndy said.

Yesterday was brutal Ty said.
Lyndy is the only reason I kind of feel about leaving Luke said .

Don't worry she'll be okay Ty said .

Ty I'm not dumb Luke said.

I heard you and Amy talking last night Luke said.

What's going on Andrea asked.

Luke whispered something to Andrea.

That's terrible but she'll be okay and we'll be back Andrea said.

Yeah bye guys Luke said hugging both Amy and Ty.

As Andrea pulled out the driveway of heartland Luke said something that broke her heart.

What if Lyndy dies before we get a chance to come back.

That's not going to happen buddy Andrea said.

But mom if they don't find another kidney soon she'll die Luke said trying not to cry.

Andrea didn't know what to say she knew Luke was right.

Andrea knew the situation was urgent.

She also what she had to do.

Andrea drove home,got Luke settled in and made a phone call.
