( sounds of gunshots and screaming.)
The girl looked up at the sound of screeching, sensing someone. She saw 2 men opening the prisons and shifting all other women out. One of them approached her. She got scared and thought " Who are they? Are they his men? Are they finally going to...?" They assured her that they were freeing them from this hell hole. She stepped out of the prison and saw blood and dead bodies of the guards everywhere. She felt relief and understood who they were. She had heard rumours of the Lord of Crime before she got here. Oh! That life! How did she even end up here? Everything happened so...suddenly.
That memory is horrible. She thinks and shudders. After going after them for a while, she saw other figures. One stood out the most to her. It's almost as if he was shining in a different light from others. She assumed he was the leader- the Lord of Crime.
She was....mesmerized. No not by him lol. This is not a love at first sight story. Her reason of being mesmerized was that there were so many people like her. Ofc they don't know yet but she HAS to join this group. Its a lifelong dream. This society is too fucked up and she wants to be a part of the group who wants to change it radically. But the problem is...she can't speak. No she is not mute from birth. Its just that from the point she has been kidnapped, she hasn't said a single word or showed any emotions. Maybe thats why she is still untouched while the other maidens are now ruined. She felt so ... so disgusted and wanted to save the maidens from the clutches of the monsters in poor disguise of humans. But she couldn't do anything....she couldn't stand up for her friends...she was too scared to act, too less trained physically and emotionally to fight monsters double her size...but not anymore. She won't be a coward anymore. ELENA DAVIS WON'T BE SILENT ANYMORE.
Other side
James( to the group of women): Please don't be scared. We are here to free you. Soon the police will be coming and taking in charge of the situation.
The women started crying and thanking them. One came forward and asked: Are you all the Lord of Crime?
James looked at William.
William: Yes. We are.

Albert: We are sorry we couldn't come soon. We will make sure each one of you go through therapy and get to live a normal life after this is over. After that if you want any thing, please do tell us."
One said: " We are thankful enough you came only. We need nothing more than the things you said you will provide us. But .... its true. It still feels so chilling to think that we were saved from a monster. What would have happened if..."
Albert( holding her palm dearly): I will not be able to understand you guys' exact situation but I promise it is over. This is over.
Elena was watching them all interact. Her friends were there too. But not all.... Her best friend's last words ringed inside her mind.
*Flashback*
Ruth: Elena, I know we are trapped here and it feels like there is no way out but...lets not lose hope. We have to try and get out and call others to save all of us. Please talk. Please. I haven't heard you talk for like... a year.
Elena declines and writes in a paper (she had since she used to take a notepad wherever she went): I won't talk till I get out. This is my silent protest. I will not watch and cry at the sight of other's getting ruined. Like you said, I do have hope and we WILL get out.
Ruth( with a pained smile) said in cracked voice: that's the spirit!
The doors suddenly flung aside and one man came in. His disgusting eyes searched for a new prey. The search stopped at the sight of... Ruth. Ruth was terrified. She knew that he was looking at her. She thought " Please lord please. I have so many dreams. I don't want my life to end like this! Please save me. Please." She screamed when he tried to take her. She protested. Elena too tried to fight for her friend's sake. But he was too strong. He slapped Elena away. Elena's head was knocked on the wall and she fell unconscious. Meanwhile Ruth had no energy left. They took her.... and she never came back.
*Present*
A tear drops and flows down her face. She knew that....she wouldn't be able to see Ruth's face again, hear her cheery voice again, feel her hugs again. She is gone. That too with her dignity shattered. She sat dragging down the wall and screamed in her mind" What did my Ruth do to deserve this? What did my other fellow friends do? GOD? THERE ISN'T A GOD. CAUSE IF THERE WAS, SO MANY PEOPLE'S LIVES WOULDN'T BE SHATTERED THIS AWAY. There is no one...no one. Only humans can save each other. And thats why, THAT'S WHY I WILL TAKE REVENGE FROM EVERY OTHER PERSON WHO EVER DARES TO TOUCH OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES AND RUIN THEM. Ruth, my dear. I am sorry. I AM SORRY I COULDN'T BE STRONG ENOUGH FOR YOU. But I promise.. I promise I will never let another one's fate be like you in front of my eyes. I will be strong and for that... I will do whatever it takes.
