With Isaac held captive, Zelena and Arthur had only one thing left to do; get ink. And all they needed for the ink was blood of a dark savior. It was a good thing that Storybrooke's precious "savior" had once been the great and powerful Evil Queen. Her blood was as dark as it got without consulting Zelena and Arthur themselves.
"I'll get the blood, you watch Isaac," Zelena ordered. Arthur nodded, his hand resting on his sheathed sword.
It wasn't hard to get blood from Regina. All it took was a couple of threats aimed at her boyfriend and son before Zelena was able to slice Regina's hand with a knife and let a few drops of her blood drip into a vial. Zelena was back to Arthur and Isaac in a matter of minutes.
Zelena and Arthur's plan was simple; make Isaac rewrite the story so they were born heroes while Regina and Robin were born - and more importantly, were throughout their entire life - villains. However, their plan was interrupted by a cloud of dark grey smoke. A cloaked woman appeared, snatching the ink and quill away from Zelena.
"I'm sorry," she said and she truly meant it, "but you'll like what I have in store more than what you have planned." The second part was another true statement from the powerful sorceress. With another poof, the woman and Isaac both disappeared back to the woman's lair where she resided with four other women who preferred to dabble in light magic, while the sorceress enjoyed dark.
"I've got him," the woman lowered her black hood to reveal scaly blue skin and striking reptilian eyes. Now he can write Zelena and Arthur's happy ending."
"But Nimue!" One of the women protested, "I want Regina and Robin to be happy too!"
"Fine," Nimue knew arguing with any of her four sister witches would result in giving Zelena and Arthur enough time to get the quill and ink back, which they were definitely capable of. Much more so than Regina and Robin, though Nimue's sister witches may have liked to argue with Nimue on that.
Nimue turned to Isaac. "You got that? Switch Zelena with Regina and switch Arthur with Robin. But instead of becoming a villain, Zelena stays good her whole life." Isaac nodded, willing to work for whoever as long as no one was threatening to kill him.
"Um, Nimue," the witch who always wore a red cloak spoke up. "What happens to us in this alternate universe?"
"Yeah," the one in the green cloak agreed, "I don't want something awful to become of us."
"Same here," the third witch, dressed in a pure white cloak, said. "Also I want a better Outlaw Queen plot. I want them to get page time. You can't be another Adam and Eddy!"
"At least I'm giving them page time!" Nimue shot back. "You just want lots of Outlaw Queen!"
"That's a good point," Red agreed. "I mean, we're not giving Captain Swan any page time. Unless Nimue is keeping secrets from us, which I wouldn't be surprised if she was."
"Well I don't agree with that either!" White argued.
"Oh, shut up," Nimue interrupted. "This is my story. Go write your own."
"I plan on it."
The witch that hadn't spoken yet opened her mouth. She was wearing a cloak that looked as if it were made completely of ice. "Nimue, someone will be here soon. Let Isaac write in peace."
Nimue nodded. "Fine. I will, but do not try to tell me how to write my story ever again." Nimue looked around the room. "That goes for all of you." She turned to Isaac. "You heard us. Write."
Isaac took a seat at the desk he assumed was for him and dipped the quill into the ink. After contemplating how to start out for a moment, he began to write.
Author's note from Nimue: Finally, I've finished the first chapter of my WickedKing fanfic. Now I've got to go post it on Instagram so Zelena and Arthur can read it!
