Her mindscape seems to have changed. It's full of trees with a bit of fog. But why would she change her mindscape? I mean, it's very possible, but one's mindscape is usually where that person is most comfortable. Guess having her parents die no longer made it comfortable for her. Still though, why the woods?

I continued walking around (Y/N)'s mindscape, hoping to find her. It didn't take long; she was sitting underneath a tree with a large flower. It almost looked like a sunflower, but I couldn't really tell with its monochromic scheme. She was just petting it, softly touching the petals.

My pace sped up, and (Y/N) looked up at me. She smiled and stood up, extending the flower out to me. I was taken back a bit, but I took the flower anyway.

"I just thought it would be nice for you to have it."

I looked down at it, then back up at her. Snapping my fingers, I conjured a copy of that flower and gave it to her. Her cheeks flushed a bit, to which I smirked slightly. She really was adorable. Walking back to the tree, she sat down looking at the flower.

"So why did you change your Mindscape?" I asked, hoping my assumptions would be confirmed.

"Well, with my parents dead, I didn't want to dream about returning home. It pains me to revisit those memories now."

Her last statement left my heart with a small sense of guilt. Seeing her sad and slightly distraught ironically crushed my cold, nonexistant heart. I sat down next to her and held her in my arms, pulling her body closer to mine.

"Look, I'm sorry-"

"Bill, it's ok. I've accepted it, and I'm moving on. And don't worry; I'm not mad at you."

I smiled and brought my hand up to run my fingers through her hair. It was perfectly soft and smooth, my fingers coursing through the strands. The longer I admired her, the more I thought about my plans for the future; our future, technically. I'll just need her help getting the journals. And if he does come back, then...well, I can take care of him.

"Bill, are you alright? You've been unusually quiet for a while," (Y/N) looked up to me.

"Yeah, I'm just thinking." Her gaze shifted up to me. My hand was in front of my mouth, my thumb and forefinger gripping my cheekbones thoughtfully. My eyes gazed abstently into the distance.

"About what?" She moved onto her knees, still by my side.

I need to make it sound better than it really is. Even though it would be a beautiful outcome to human idiocy, she isn't like me; she wouldn't completely understand. Chances are she would be persuaded to stop me out of fright. I would be lying if I said I didn't love her nor cared about her.

My gaze came back to (Y/N), looking at her beautiful (E/C) eyes. Those orbs that fill me with a sense of weakness but happiness.  I just can't lie to her; maybe if I just sugarcoat it a tiny bit.

"I was prophesized to take over the world, in a way," I started, "and I want you to be by my side when that happens."

(Y/N) blushed a bit, moving her gaze away slightly. I laughed a bit at her flustered state; her adorable red face that burned bright against her skin and the grey surroundings. She didn't seem fazed by my confession in the slightest, however.

"I just need your help getting a few things that belong to me." I held her cheek as I spoke. "Will you help me?"

She looked back up at me and nodded. "I'll help."

Joy came over me not just because of the guarantee that my plan will finally commence, but also her will to cooperate. The fate of this world will finally be reality all because of (Y/N).

I wrapped my arms around (Y/N), pulling her towards me. She fell off her knees and onto my chest. I almost fell back, but extended my arm from around her to catch us.

"Bill!" she shrieked, laughing at my actions. I laughed along with her, overjoyed.

"Why are you so excited about all this?"

Calming my laughter, I looked over at her still with a large smile on my face. She smiled back, obviously happy that I was so excited and ecstatic.

"You see, my universe has been decaying for trillions of years. It's about to fall apart, so I need a new universe to call my own. Think of it this way: your universe will be my new home." My voice was a bit elevated as I spoke.

"Oh. And uhm, how do I fit into this?"

I brought my hand up to (Y/N), caressing her cheek.

"You'll be my...let's say, companion," I responded, just barely notifying her of her true role.

"I'm just warning you: the universe will get a bit wierd when I move in," I smirked a bit.

"Well...I like wierd," she giggled a bit.

"That's good, 'cuz I can get pretty freaky."

I stood up, lifting (Y/N) with my levitation ability simultaneously. She howled with laughter as I flipped her over on her back. I kept her up in the air a little longer before letting go. No longer levitating, (Y/N) instantly fell into my arms. She continued laughing while I spun around, smiling at her. While holding (Y/N), I noticed how happy I was, and it wasn't maniacal; it was pure joy with the cliche blubbly feeling. I don't know why, but part of me was actually pleased with these knew-found emotions.

I could actually live with this.
