"Twilight," said the pink pony with a crazy pink mane, sitting in a crystal chair with three balloons on it, "We really really REALLY want you to come along on this trip." A purple pony in another crystal chair but with a Pink star on it across the crystal table, with predominantly flat purple hair with a pink stripe going down her mane said in a sweet voice " I'm sorry Pinkie Pie I just can't go I am really busy working on reorganizing my books again."

The castle walls gleamed from the setting sunlight that came through the windows casting beautiful colors all over the castle walls. The tree roots hanging over head gleamed with the memories the ponies shared together. The pink pony looked at her friend with a confused look "But why do you need to do it again," Pinkie said with great question.

"You just did it last week?" Twilight looked at her friend and in the kindest voice said "I really want to go, but some pony knocked over a bunch of bookshelves," she turned her head to her scaly, dragon friend slash servant, Spike who was sitting there, holding a mop with a big red face full of embarrassment. "And besides since I'm the princess of friendship I also have a few other things on my plate," said Twilight annoyed, "you know Starlight Glimmer."

"Aaaawww but Twilight," came a wail from the little dragon. "I was really looking forward to going on this camping trip." Twilight looked back at Spike who was puckering his lips, and big, sad, wet eyes looking Twilight directly in the face. Twilight rolled her eyes, sighed and smiled saying " Ok I guess you can go, I will come later today, now better hurry before Princess Luna raises the moon then you will be too tired to walk."

"Thanks Twilight," Spike said jumping with excitement but sent a bucket into the air causing it to dump dirty water all over him and also causing the bucket to land on him. Pinkie broke into laughter and Twilight chuckled a little, "well you two get a move on and be careful," Said Twilight. Pinkie pie got out of her seat and grabbed her bag and Spike grabbed his and they both left the room and the castle singing happily.

Twilight walked down a long hallway, past various amounts of doors and into the library where her horn started to glow and books on the floor, in boxes, and on the shelfs started to float around in a circular motion above Twilight's head as she began looking at the covers of the books. "Ok," Twilight said, History of the wonderbolts, that goes in history section, the legend of the dragon troll, fiction, The fantastic world of beasts, nonfiction. The sun began to set over the horizon and the book were nearly all organized.

"Just one more book" said Twilight, wiping the sweat off her head. "Ok," she said, "hmmm The Dragon pony breed?" "obviously fiction," she proclaimed floating the book to one open spot. "Oh I bag to differ," came a deep raspy dragonish voice from the door to the library. Twilight turned to see a pony with a large cloak covering most of the specters body, but two scaly wing stuck out on the side of the pony. "Oh hello," she said looking into the ponies big, green, dragon like eyes. Twilight swallowed heavily "Is there anything you need mis...ter?"

"Oh where are my manners my name is Knightsphere." said the pony walking forward revealing a shiny robotic looking leg on the left side of his body. "Oh hi my name is..." started Twilight. "Oh no need for introductions Twilight," grinned the dark pony.

"I couldn't help but overhear you saying that dragon ponies are in the fiction section could you tell me why?" Twilight eyed him as he walked around the room looking at and touching the books, "I am putting it there because there is no such thing as a dragon pony," said Twilight looking at the strange pony questionably.

"Well I happen to know someone who happens to be one of those fascinating creatures," said the strange pony still walking around the room. "Ok I guess then I will put this under nonfiction then," said Twilight, floating the book slowly over to the nonfiction shelf.

"Now that that's out of the way I was wondering if you had some books I was looking for?" Knightsphere said looking directly into Twilight's eyes. Twilight's spine shuddered, but she managed to get out a "s...s...sure what are you looking f...f...f...for?" Knightsphere still walking around touching the books said "well now let me see if I can remember the names of the books." He looked up for a moment thinking of the names, then he looked directly at Twilight, eyes glowing bright with flames glowing in the back.

"Oh yeah they were called Haunting Nightmare by Pen Stroke, and The Experiments of Twilight Sparkle by MxFear," he said grinning creepily at Twilight.

Twilight legs began to wiggle with fear but she stood her ground and asked, "What do you mean I've never heard of those books and why is one mentioning me, Who are you?" Twilight said filled with fear. "Oh Twilight if only you knew," chuckled Knightsphere with a deep laugh. Twilight noticed in one of the dark ponies scaly wings, he was holding something shiny and pointy. "But soon Twilight, you will."

The pony moved towards Twilight. she backed up but she was against a wall with no way out. She tried to teleport away but something was interfering with her magic. "Starlight help!" screamed Twilight out the open door of the library. "Oh I don't think Starlight can hear you," said Knightsphere, presenting in his open wing Starlights severed head. Twilight looked in horror as Knightsphere dropped Starlights head in front of her. Twilight felt like she was going to be sick. Twilight sat down and looked at Starlight's head, "you monster," Twilight managed to get out through all of the terror that enveloped her.

Knightsphere loomed over her, and Twilight could see he had something else in his other wing. "Here I wouldn't want you to miss out on a letter from the princess," he said handing a scroll with a red wrap around it to Twilight.

Twilight opened the scroll slowly eyeing Knightsphere carefully. On the scroll was writing from the princess.

My dearest Twilight,

I bring you very devastating news, The elements of harmony have been stolen. We have our best pony detectives looking into the incident, but so far nothing has come up. All we know from the guards that were on duty at the time described a pony in a cloak with green glowing eyes attacked them, but there not sure if he took the elements. Please be safe and watch out for....

A line was the thing that was left of what Celestia wrote. Twilight looked up at Knightsphere, "What did you do to them?" she asked. tears began running down her face.

"The same thing I am going to do to you," said Knightsphere.

Twilight saw what he was holding a needle filled with some sort of liquid. Before she could react the pony jabbed the needle into her leg releasing the liquid into her bloodstream. Twilight screamed in pain as she felt the liquid course through her. "What have you done to me?" demanded Twilight. She then noticed Knightshpere walking away laughing. "where do you think you..." Twilight said trying to stand up. "Don't bother getting up," said Knighsphere, "it will only hurt worse if you resist."

"What will only hurt worse," Twilight whimpered.

"Your cure," said Knightsphere chuckling "your cure for sanity." Knightshpere started to shut the door to the library and said "enjoy the ride, cause you're going to hear from me again later." The pony smirked shutting the door. Twilight looked at Starlight's face one last time before she fainted.
