As a couple minutes pass, the pair hear a knock on the door. Venti leaps up and carefully opens the door.

"Hello!" He smiles at the lady at the door. She has short dark brown hair and hazel eyes.

She steps into the room and sets her stuff down on the table.

"Sorry that I'm a bit late, she apologizes, checking her watch.

"Don't worry about it! We only just got here a few minutes ago." Lumine reassures her as they all sit down.

"Okay! I talked to Elora and she told me that we should work on singing techniques, harmonizing, and singing some of the songs in the album," She explains, looking through her notes.

"First, we'll start off with lip trills to start,"

"Damn, I suck at those," Venti facepalms as Lumine laughs, looking at him.

"Okay, now lets do lip trills and scales," She says, walking over to the piano in the room.

The pair take turns going up the scale and back down again as the lady plays the piano.

"Lovely! Now, you guys can pick one of your songs on the album to practice."

Lumine turns to look at Venti.

"How about we sing Pool? Its a pretty good song for harmonies,"

"Ooh, I really like that song. You wrote most of the lyrics right?" He asks, to which Lumine nods and grins.

"Pool it is! Let me pull up the music really quick.." She takes her computer out of her laptop bag and places it at the end of the piano. Typing in a couple things, she opens the music and turns to look at the pair.

"Okay! Do you guys wanna listen to it first? It says here you guys haven't recorded it yet so theres going to be a demo version playing," She explains

"Sure!" Venti nods his head in agreement.

The lady taps something on the computer and the room fills with music. As the music plays, Lumine leans over to Venti.

"I remember at the beginning of our training, you produced a bit of the chorus didn't you?" She whispers.

"I didn't really do much, just a bit of loops here and there," He says

"Either way, you did great with this song," She compliments him as she returns to her original position in her chair.

Venti feels his cheeks heating up at her words and turns her head towards the door so that his face wouldn't be visible.

The song plays on as he takes a glance at Lumine, who calmly bops her head side to side.

The song ends after a short while, and his face cools down, so he turns his head back.

"Okay, the first line is Venti's, so could you sing the first line please?" The lady asks

Venti does as she asks, and sings the first line.

"That was lovely! Try opening your mouth a little bit more and it'll be perfect!"

He sings the line once again and she gives him a thumbs up.

"Lumine, your turn. Could you sing the line after Venti's for me?"

Lumine quickly belts out the notes as the lady grins.

"Gorgeous! So firstly, you two should learn the harmony for this. Lumine will be singing it when you guys eventually record, but when singing live, Venti will have to sing the harmony, so it's best if you both learn it!" She explains 

"Ohh, okay!" Lumine responds.

She plays a couple notes on the piano as she looks up at the two.

"Can you guys repeat that for me?" 

With ease, Lumine and Venti vocalize the notes in unison.

"Alright, now Lumine, you sing the melody, and Venti, you sing the harmony," She instructs. They do as told, resulting in a pretty harmony. The lady clasps her hands together and smiles.

More than an hour passes as they go through the entire song, practicing it a few times.

"Do you guys want to record a little for fun and send it to Elora?" The lady questions, as she gently places her hands on the piano.

"Sure! That sounds fun!" Venti glances at Lumine who nods along.

The lady pulls out her phone from her pocket and places it on the table, opening the camera.

"Ready?" She asks, as the two nod as she clicks a small button on the phone.

Instantly, the room is filled with singing from both Lumine and Venti. The lady bobs her head side to side as she plays a couple background chords on the piano.

As the song ends, Venti takes a quick look at Lumine, who happens to also be looking at him. They make eye contact for a brief moment but both look away quickly.

"That was amazing!" The lady claps as the two smile at her.

"Couldn't have done it without you," Lumine grins as the lady smiles back at her.

"Anyways, I have some more training lessons to coach, so I unfortunately will have to leave you two here," She says, a pang of disappointment in her voice. She grabs her bag and stands up by the door.

"It was lovely hearing you guys sing! I hope Elora schedules us another lesson soon," She smiles sweetly as she walks out of the room; closing the door behind her, which leaves Venti and Lumine alone.

"That was nice," Lumine suddenly states, leaning back in her chair.

"Mhm, I enjoyed it," Venti responds, also leaning in his chair. His eyes dart to the piano the lady was playing earlier.

"Lumine, can you play the piano?" He questions, as Lumine looks up at his sudden question.

"Yep, I can! Why?" She asks, as she gets up from her seat.

"No reason, just a question," He explains, following her with his eyes as she walks over to the piano, and seats herself on the bench.

"I haven't played in a while though," She sighs as she places her hands on the keys.

"Could you play something for me please?" He asks in a sing-song tone. Lumine laughs at this and rolls her eyes.

"Alright, lets see," She thinks to herself for a bit and gently presses the keys, a soft sound coming out of the instrument. Her hands glide around the piano with ease as she looks at the keys with concentration in her eyes. Venti stands up to walk over. As he stands over her shoulder, he watches her hands in admiration, which flow around the piano like the wind.

She finishes her little piece and folds her hands in her lap as Venti turns his head to look at her.

"That was amazing! I didn't know you could play so well," He exclaims,

"Thank you, I've been learning since I was little." She explains, looking up at his eyes. She pauses for a bit, and an awkward silence follows.

"Do you want to try?" She asks, attempting to break the silence. Lucky for her, it works in her favor.

"Okay!" Venti responds as she gets up from the bench. He takes a seat where Lumine had just sat and rests his hands on the piano.

"I tried learning once, but it didn't end really well," He laughs nervously as she giggles in the background.

"Don't worry, I know a short song that I can teach you," She smiles as she stands behind him. Venti plays a couple of scales and looks back at Lumine.

"Thats all I know," He responds sheepishly.

"Okay, the song is a pretty short one but its also really nice, I think you would like it" She explains, as she leans forward so that she stands directly behind Venti, her chin hovering over his shoulder. She reaches her right arm forward and places her hand on top of Venti's, causing his eyes to widen.

He doesn't say anything, but he is well aware that his cheeks are heating up more and more by the second. Her hand feels cool against his warm skin.

She gently presses his fingers, along with the keys on the piano to play a short melody. Using her free hand, she changes the position of his wrist so that it is more upward.

Lumine then takes her other hand and places it over Venti's other hand, and plays a few chords with his left hand.

They play the rest of the song; while Lumine looks concentrated, Venti's mind goes absolutely blank.

The song finishes off and Lumine backs up from the piano, and turns to look at Venti.

"How'd it go?" She questions, 

"Oh- uhm, the song was really nice," He responds slowly, as he snaps back to reality.

"I'm happy you liked it!" Lumine beams at him, which makes his heart all jumbled up. All he can afford to do is flash a quick smile back at her.

"Hmm, I think I have to go now," Lumine announces sadly as she stands up, looking at her phone.

"Lesson?" Venti asks, looking at her.

"Yeahh, I needed to get a dance practice in anyway," She responds, stretching her hands above her and walking over to the door, which Venti opens.

"We can practice dancing tomorrow if you'd like," He suggests as they walk into the hallway and down the stairs into the lobby.

"Sure! That seems fun," She grins as they both walk over to the front door.

"Got everything?"

"Yep, I'm pretty sure," 

"Alright then, i'll see you tomorrow!" Lumine waves and smiles at him as he exits the building.
