Venti hopped out of his car and entered the passcode for the dorm and opened the door. The room was dark, except for the natural light coming from the window. He set his stuff down and he went to look around to see if anyone was home. He decided to check the groupchat to see what he missed.

Are you guys home rn? :Venti

Kazuha: I went out to buy groceries and Heizou went to go buy dinner, but Xiao and Aether should be home

Aether: We're in Xiao's room, you can come if you want!

Venti went into his room, took out a large shirt and shorts, and put them on. He decided that he would clean up his room a bit before going to check up on Xiao and Aether. He played some music on his phone as he hummed along and cleaned.

About 45 minutes later, the room was entirely spotless and neat. Venti yawned and turned off his music. Since he was finally done cleaning, he went to the kitchen to grab a snack, and then went over to Xiao's room.

"Should I knock first?" He thought to himself.

"Nahh"

He opened the door to see Aether huddled up, holding Xiao at his waist, half asleep as Xiao wore his headphones.

"oho~" Venti said, grabbing his phone and taking some pictures of the pair

Almost as soon as he walked in, Aether gained conciousness and they sprang apart.

"Hi guyss" Venti said in a teasing tone as he leaned against the doorway. Aether had buried his face in his hands and Xiao looked the other way.

"Don't be embarrassed, we always knew you two had a thing going on" He smirked

"Its nothing like that! We're not-" Aether started but was inturrupted by Venti

"Keep telling yourself that"

"So," Venti said "What were you guys working on?" he said, as he plopped down on the sofa.

Xiao gave him a hard glare, but Aether responded quickly and innocently.

"Oh, Xiao was just teaching me how to produce"

"You should teach me too. I had to produce with Lumine today-" Now it was Aether's turn to inturrupt Venti.

"You didn't try anything on my sister did you?" He turned and gave him a cold stare. Venti shivered a bit.

"No, why would I??" Venti said, crossing his arms.

Aether kept on staring at him until they got a text from Heizou, to which Venti picked up his phone and typed.

Heizou: Guys i'll be home in a couple of minutes. I brought inazuman food

Kazuha: I'll be home in a bit too

"Heizou and Kazuha will be home soon" Venti told the other two.

"What did you do with Lumine today?" Xiao asked, not looking up from his work.

"Well, first we talked to her manager, I got a tour, we ate lunch, and did some producing" Venti replied casually.

"Can I hear what you guys made?"

"Sure,"

They talked a bit more until Heizou came home with food. He brought some rice cake soup and tri-flavored skewers. They warmed up the food in the microwave as the boys waited for Kazuha to come back. Soon enough, Kazuha came home, his hands filled with grocery bags. He placed them down near the kitchen counter and they started eating.

"Venti, Heizou and I aren't going to be home at all for a while" Kazuha said, chewing on a tri-flavored skewer. "What are you guys going to do all day?"

"Well, today we basically produced all day, and we were thinking of doing a live tomorrow for the fans" Xiao responded.

"Did you know, today when I walked into Xiao's room I saw Aether and him-" Venti started but was interrupted by Aether coughing loudly.

"Xiao could you get Aether some water?" Kazuha asked. Xiao stood up and walked over to the sink.

"Now Venti, continue" Kazuha said, smirking and folding his hands in front of him

Xiao brought the glass of water to Aether, who drank it all rather quickly.

"Anyways, Aether was holding onto him, half asleep, and when I walked in, they were both so flustured, it was hilarious!"

Heizou fell into a fit of laughter, almost crying, while Kazuha and Venti joined him. Xiao and Aether glared at the two.

"shut up," Xiao said, wiping his mouth with a napkin.

2 hours earlier..

Xiao and Aether sat in Xiao's room, which had a producing table in the corner. Aether sat on Xiao's bed while Xiao sat in his producing chair.

"Okay, do you like these drums better or these ones?" Xiao asked as Aether drowsily walked over. Xiao placed his headphones on Aether's head.

"Ooh I like that one better" Aether said, and he walked back to Xiao's bed.

"Instead of walking here everytime why don't you just sit in the chair with me?" Xiao suggested, realizing what he had just said and turning pink at the thought of Aether sitting next to him.

"Theres no room though!" Aether pouted.

Xiao scooted to the side of his chair and patted at the empty space.

Aether walked over and plopped down next to him.

"Thank youu!" Aether beamed brightly at him.

"His smile is so precious" Xiao thought to himself, as he turned away from Aether to hide his blushing face.

Xiao had a crush on Aether. His fellow bandmates found it obvious and teased him about it daily. He didn't even know if Aether liked him back. To Xiao, this was just a one time thing, and it would go away soon enough.

So why had it been going on for the past 3 years?

Xiao mentally groaned as he leaned back in the chair.

"It's no problem"

About 15 minutes later, Aether had wrapped his arms around Xiao's waist, and fell asleep on his shoulder. Xiao felt his cheeks burn. He couldn't even think straight.

He moved his shoulder a bit, and woke up Aether.

"Xiao?" Aether asked groggily, not realizing the position that he was in.

"Hush, its nothing. You can go back to sleep now" Xiao whispered.

Aether nuzzled Xiaos shoulder and sighed contently.

5 minutes later

Xiao's heart stopped as he heard the click of his door opening, meaning someone was home.

Aether had seemed to hear the door too because a second after the door swung open, he realized what he was doing, and sprang apart from him.

"oho~ what do we have here?" Venti whispered to himself.

"Hi guyss" He smirked, pointing his phone's camera at the two.

"yeah! I was just tired..." Aether mumbled

"like we're going to believe that" Heizou snickered.

"I mean come on! Its been forever since we've been getting signals, and as your biggest shippers, we need to know when you guys are going to finally get together!" Venti clasped his hands together.

"guys, not now" Xiao facepalmed as Aether blushed furiously.

"fineee"

Kazuha washed the dishes in the kitchen, Venti and Heizou were putting the groceries in the fridge, and Xiao and Aether cleaned up the table.

Aether stopped for a bit to look at his phone. He picked it up and started texting someone.

venti didnt try anything on you right? :Aether

Lumine: what

Lumine: no

Lumine: why would he do that

idk, i was worried he tried to hit on you or smth :Aether

Lumine: nah dont worry, hes really nice

alright :Aether

He sighed and went to the kitchen to go help Kazuha wash the dishes.

After a couple of minutes, the kitchen was spotless.

"great work guys!" Kazuha smiled at the others.

"Heizou, Kazuha, you guys are going to be home early tomorrow right?" Xiao asked

"I think so, if anything changes we'll tell you guys"

"Okay, Aether and I are staying home, and Venti has to go with Lumine again, right?"

"Yep!" Venti responded.

"Alright. You should go get some sleep then" Xiao explained, looking at the clock, which read 10:17

"okay, goodnight guys!" He said to the others and left for his room, where he quickly changed and got into bed.

He yawned, and as he was about to go to sleep, remembered he needed to text someone.

So basically i got home today, walked into xiao's room, and i saw aether, but he asleep on Xiao's shoulder, holding him, AND they were sitting together on a chair while Xiao produced :Venti

Lumine: WHATT FR??

Venti laughed at Lumine's reaction. He then yawned softly as he felt his eyelids droop. He turned off his cellphone and placed it on his nightstand. Closing his eyes, he thought about everything that he had done today, and fell asleep.
