"Ok, you should be fine to leave the hospital starting today and begin proper schooling outside the facility," a doctor spoke unenthusiastically," you'll be attending the school the file in your hand describes and you will receive a monthly allowance provided by the government to pay for schooling and daily necessities. Your schooling will begin after summer break, so you have an extra week and a half, you may now leave." I nodded and stood up to leave the room as well as the hospital; once I left I opened the file the doctor spoke of, it was just as he said, it described a school on a hill that required me to climb a large amount of steps. I closed the file and headed towards the school to discuss the few things regarding my living arrangements; the walk there was pretty uneventful, the same thing could be said about the discussion, but the walk to the dorm rooms was something more eventful than I had hoped.

When I was about half way there I had come across a bridge when a voice sounded throughout the area," curfew is in 10 minutes, all students make their way to their respective dormitories." Realising the time, I began to run towards the area where my dorm was located not caring about how fast I was going or if I might run into someone. After about 7 minutes I was beginning to run out of breath but I continued nonetheless, that is until I turned a corner and ran into someone. Unlike all those cliché shows where both people fall backwards onto their rear, inertia decided that I would continue to move and fall flat on my face." Ahh my head," spoke a feminine voice," WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING, IDIOT," she proceeded to shout while I got up holding my face," sor... ry," my voice trailed off as I removed my hand from my face. It was her, the person who killed me in my previous life, I began to mentally freak out until I decided to do the classic talk and run." So sorry, it was all my fault, but I really need to get to my dorm seeing how curfew is in 3 minutes, byyyyeee," I then ran as fast as my legs would take me towards the dorms where I would, hopefully, be safe. Upon arrival, I wasted no time in making my way to my dorm room, entering and closing then locking the door behind me; only then did I calm down slightly, leaning against the, just recently closed door for who knows how long. After many long minutes I stood up and went over to the bed, that I only just realised was in the corner of the room, and lay down on it, attempting to fall asleep only for her face to enter my mind snapping me awake. I remained like this for the rest of the night.

Sitting up I yawned and stretched, exhausted from the lack of sleep. I rubbed my eyelids with the tips of my fingers in an attempt to get the sleep out of my eyes only to realise that there was none. Hopping out of bed, I made my way to the bathroom to wash my face with cold water to help keep me awake for the day. Fortunately, school didn't start for months, so I had some time to sleep before I started hallucinating. It had been 2 days since my run in with her and I hadn't slept so much as a wink. Then the realisation that all my books weren't provided hit me, so I had to go out and buy them myself and that would mean going outside where she was, where she was able to get me, just like last time. Even though I had all these thoughts in my mind, I seemed to come up with another to counteract each one, like,' the chances of me running into her are about the same of finding a needle in a haystack.' For what seemed like hours I continued this mental debate without realising, I had made my way to the door. With one final breath I slowly opened the door into the outside world and luckily no one was there. I exhaled with relief and began to head to the closest book shop, which, thankfully, turned out to be a relatively uneventful walk. On arrival I entered the shop to begin browsing for the required books; every now and then picking up a one to see if it was interesting. Once I found and purchased the required books I left the shop and began the walk home, at first nothing happened and I made the mistake of thinking that I might not run into her. All of those thoughts crumbled when I heard a familiar voice," hey you, you're the one who ran into me yesterday, that hurt you know." My face paled, I turned to face her," like I said yesterday, I'm really sorry, but I have to go now so farewell," I turned and ran in the opposite direction of her, turning into a nearby alley, which turned out to be the classic dead end. I heard someone shout in the distance," GET BACK HERE, YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR RUNNING INTO ME!" I turned around in time to see her round the corner, while I began to cower in fear of her wrath," I'm sorry, ok, please just, don't hurt me," I just barely spoke as my face paled even more than it already had.

Unknown Individual's Perspective

"GET BACK HERE, YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR RUNNING INTO ME!," I shouted as I turned the corner of the alley, sparks flying off of my skin all over my body. Once I got to the end of the alley the boy slid down to the floor against the wall behind him," I'm sorry, ok, please just, don't hurt me," his voice barely came out but once the sound of his voice reached my ears, I noticed how scared he sounded. I calmed down enough to notice how pale his face was and he had noticeable bags forming under his eyes. I thought back to the last time we ran into each other,' were those there last time or has he not been sleeping since then?' I looked over towards him and sighed," don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you, but you're still going to pay for running into me, you got that!" He nodded slowly, still seemingly petrified with fear of unknown origin." Right I suppose I should tell you my name, shouldn't I? The name's Mikoto Misaka," as soon as I finished my sentence, any shaking or other movement that were coming from him stopped and if possible his face paled more. After a few seconds of silence he spoke up, his shaking voice just barely audible," My name is Hisao." The way he responded to what I was saying made me feel guilty about the way I was treating him," Ok now I feel bad, let me buy you a drink as an apology for scaring you so badly, here let me help you up," I extended hand out for him to grab, to which he did, although his hand was shaking more than a cleaning robot after I've zapped it. I pulled him up onto his feet and turned around lead the way to a certain vending machine.

After getting the drinks and sitting down, an awkward silence fell upon us, so as a solution I decided to strike up a conversation, although the topic was very weird." So, tell me, why were you so scared of me?" his eyes widened, obviously surprised by my question, but still answered," well, quite a few years ago, I was attacked while walking through a park and nearly died and well, the person who attacked looked just like you." He responded while turning his head to face me. I said nothing and we sat in silence. That is until Kuroko appeared and kicked his head. At least that's what I thought happened...

Hisao's Perspective

An awkward silence fell upon us after I told her my, kinda true kinda not, story. For a while we just sat there. Until someone teleported and tried to kick my head,  but failed, because instead of kicking my head they kicked the palm of my hand." Kuroko! What are you doing, you don't have to kick every boy I just happen to be talking to," 'Oh, so that is Kuroko, kind of guessed though.' Kuroko looked at Mikoto, then to me, then back at Mikoto," Sissy, I know that you are entering a stage where you have these urges and feelings, but you have me, so why do you insist on hanging around with boys! And besides I didn't end up kicking him, he blocked my kick." She complained to Mikoto, turning her head away with her last sentence." What do you mean by that Kuroko?" Mikoto questioned which in turn got me to speak up," exactly what she said. I blocked her kick," "yes, but how exactly did you know to block my kick even though I just teleported here?" I sighed and answered her question," well the answer to that is quite simple, I saw you over from the other side of the park." Kuroko nodded and then her face took on a serious expression," all of that aside, WHY were you hanging out with Sissy?" "That's none of your business Kuroko, you need to stop butting into every little thing that I do!" Mikoto shouted at Kuroko, responding instead of me. The two of them kept going back and forth talking to each other until Kuroko ended it," well anyway, Sissy I came over here to tell you that the dorm supervisor wanted to talk to you," Mikoto's faced paled slightly "Ok, thanks Kuroko, could you take me there." Kuroko nodded and teleported them both to an unknown location, leaving me here, alone. Looking around I decided to head back to my dorm, which only took about five minutes. Upon my arrival I sat down on my bed a proceeded to go along with the rest of my day.
