So, I watched Coraline in 3D yesterday (AMAZING btw), but in the middle of it, I started thinking...what if I made a new AU...but with Sybil? I know it's not normal to make AUS with your OCS, but I just couldn't resist! The idea was too good!

Okay, so, what if instead of Coraline going through the door, Sybil went in instead? And she got transported to the Other World, but instead of it being controlled by the Other Mother like it was for Coraline, it's controlled by...wait for it...THE OTHER CORALINE. BUM BUM BUUUUUUUUM! Like, she does have other parents, but it's mainly just about Coraline here. The Beldam decided to disguise herself as her instead of Sybil's mother.

AND THAT'S ANOTHER THING!

Not only did Sybil enter the door, but the Beldam also designed the little doll to be like HER instead of CORALINE! Wybie saw this and did not, at ALL, want to tell Sybil about it because he was concerned about her safety, being her bestie and all. But Sybil, in her curious nature, checked it out anyway and found the Beldam's little doll and took it home, as she found it interesting. The little doll saw how smitten she was with Coraline, and she reasoned that this was the way to get her to stay.

The other Wybie and her other parents still try to help out in making her see that this world is not what it seems and that having your crush guaranteed to like you should DEFINITELY not overweigh the value of your own life. The cat (or, AHEM, Keith) is very disappointed in her, saying that she's smarter than this and he tries to encourage her not to let her curiosity and ditzy-ness rule over her decisions and common sense. Wybie is also lowkey disappointed in her cause he thought after all that time of hanging out with him and talking with his grandma that she would be scared enough to be convinced not to go through the door.

Her and the Other Coraline go out on small dates all the time, but they never really get to a kissing-on-the-mouth point cause I feel like the Beldam would find that weird (she's a monster, not a p3do, y'all 😌).

*and yeah, Sybil would blush at the image of Miss Forcible with barely any clothes on, lol. She may be old, but lesbians are lesbians.
