I got the sudden motivation to update this book because of how random and concerning some of the comments are

Not long after the surprise attack, the superior demon commanded you to get your wound fixed and start searching again.

Though you wanted to follow after whatever that was earlier, you feared what could happen if you disobeyed orders so, reluctantly you climbed onto a branch higher up to let Lilith patch the wound.

"It doesn't seem all that bad. You'll be fine if you don't move your arm as much." She muttered finishing up her work.

"Before we go back. Let's talk, what was that?" Charlie asked. "It did go in the direction of that kid so, did it kill him?"

No one seemed to have any answers to the question but, they were more than surprised to see the demon coming back.

"We lost them. Go back to the farms I'll take it from here." It had told everyone.

The command was questionable, why did it want everyone to go back? Did something happen? Did they find something out? The possibilities were endless.

Luckily with the help of your demon, Amon, you managed to get back to the farms without getting lost. There, you were met with a man who instructed everyone to get in the vehicle waiting.

Nothing else happened after that and the ride was silent. You noticed how most of the children were tense or had a terrified look in their eyes.

When everyone was let out of the vehicle you were met with a hallway leading deeper into the building you were in, Peter was also there. He smiled and cheerfully greeted everyone.

"Welcome back everyone. We've missed you, please go to your designated rooms." He said, his hands holding onto your shoulders, "I'll give [Y/N] a tour."

Once the others left, Peters grip on your shoulder tightened a bit as he pushed you forward and lead you through the same door.

Everything was once again, plain and white. The tiles were shiny. Neither of you spoke as the sound of your shoes hitting the hard floor filled your ears.

Taking a turn, you were met with two doctors. "[Y/N], these are your doctors, they're going to check your vitals and do a little test like the ones at the house, okay?" Peter smiled at you.

You nodded in understanding and followed the doctors to a device on the wall.

You placed your palm against it and patiently waited. There was a small noise before the doctor to your left checked his clipboard. "Perfect health." He said.

Then, you were taken to a secluded room. Everything about the exam area looked normal. When it began you noticed that the questions were more further into the difficulty level than at the house but nonetheless you completed it.

Fiddling with your fingers, you waited for someone to come get you. Another doctor came in with a syringe filled with unknown liquid.

They inserted a needle on top of your arm and warned you that it would hurt.

Hurt was not the word you'd use to describe the feeling, it felt awful, so much so that you wanted to scream but bit your tongue to stop you from doing so.

Meanwhile the doctors and Peter awaited the results in the monitoring room. "She's doing the same one as the special child from Grace Field." One of them informed Peter.

"And she got perfect scores..." The other mumbled.

Peter smiled. "She has to be on the same level as him too or else she would have died already." He chuckled. "Bring him out."

"Good job my child." Peter praised walking in. "You got perfect scores!"

Giving him a small smile you nodded. "Come with me, I want you to play chess with someone. Though you're not allowed to talk to him at all, understood?"

"Yup." You confirmed. "What did they inject me with?"

"It prevents major drawbacks" Peter brushed it off quickly and opened the door to another room and stepped in with you, his hands pushing you forward. "Norman, how are you?"

Norman looked up from the book he was reading and almost burst into tears when he saw one of his best friends standing at the door, perfectly fine.

"I'm good, how are you?" He chirped, he couldn't let his emotions ruin his plans, not when he was so close.

"Wonderful. Now I want you both to play a game together." Peter smiled as you took a seat infront of Norman, the chess board being placed on the table.

"Break the rule and you'll see what happens." Peter whispered in your ear, patting your head 'lovingly'.

You wanted to hug Norman. You wanted to tell him how much you missed him but your fears got the best of you as you started the game.

Norman thought about your move for a moment before making his move himself. He glanced around the room and quickly took in your tense shoulders.

Halfway through the game, you started coughing violently, this caused the doctors at the monitoring room to panic and rush in to give you some water and a mystery pill.

After that everything went fine with you winning the game, you shook his hand, silently congratulating him and squeezing his hand to let him know you loved him. He returned the gesture almost immediately.

Suddenly there was loud noises of things falling and the yells of doctors. "Get him!"

You and Norman glanced at each other as two new people entered the room, rushing the both of you out and in different directions, you looked behind you to see Norman already staring at you. You smiled at him.

You were put in a room with a bed and a sink. An isolation room.

You were waiting for someone to come get you again when you felt something rush up your throat, quickly running to the sink you coughed and hacked out blood clots and gunk.

You were beyond disgusted but you continued vomiting out contents in your stomach which was mixed with your blood, until finally everything was out of your body. You were too weak to even stand now so you let yourself fall back, welcoming the darkness.
