I was on a Twitch cam live with Michael playing Fortnite. We are best friends and have been for years. Since quarantine started it's been harder for us to hang out since he doesn't wanna drive all the way up to Luke's house. Luke and I have been dating for 2 years now and he lives in the Hollywood Hills. Which is far away from Michaels house in Village Valley

Ashton, Calum,and I aren't that close but we are still friends. Just not as close as Michael and I

"Fuck. Why do you always have to win?" I asked Michael being the sore loser I am

"You can't keep up with me. Sorry y/n"

I rolled my eyes as we started playing again

As we were playing I heard a crash

"What was that?" Michael asked pausing the game

"I don't know" I said getting scared

"Is Luke still out with Petunia?"

"Yeah he is normally gone for around an hour" I said looking at my phone

"I'll call him" I said dialing his number

"Hey Luke, are you home?"

"No I'm still out with Petunia. Why is everything okay?"

"Well I was playing Fortnite with Mike when I heard a crash from downstairs."

"Ok I'm on my way back. Just stay on live with Michael and lock the door"

"Ok. Love you"

"Love you too"

I got up and locked the door to the office room that I was in

"I'm scared Mikey" I said looking at him

"It's ok. Luke is on his way and I'm right here. Everything is gonna be okay" he said trying to calm me down

I could feel my heart in my throat I was so scared

Then I heard footsteps

"Mikey...." I said trailing off

He looked at me and signaled me to be quiet

Then he texted me.

I just texted Luke to hurry. He isn't there yet just stay quiet

I just nodded and fell silent

I was almost shaking I was so scared.

What if someone is here? Will they kill me? What if they kill Luke?

I heard the door start to open and I looked at Michael again. Then back at the door

I saw Petunia come in then Luke came in with a bat

"Oh my gosh Luke you scared me" I said running up to him and giving him a hug

"Keep Petunia in here and tell Michael to call the cops. I think they are still in here"

I nodded and texted Michael then stopped the twitch cam

Luke walked down the stairs slowly and opened each door not seeing anything

I saw him go into the bathroom on the main floor and heard him hit something

I immediately ran down there to see Luke standing over a man lying on the floor in all black

"Are the cops on their way?" He asked

I nodded

"I'm so glad your okay" he said hugging me

I looked down at the man. He could've killed us

We heard the sirens and opened the door, we told the cops everything and they took the man. They said he smashed the back door in and was a wanted criminal. Then they left

"That was scary" I said holding Luke's hand as we walked upstairs

"I know. I'm sorry babe. I should've been here. Something bad could've happened"

"You don't have to be sorry Luke. Nothing happened, I just got a little scared."

We snuggled on the bed for awhile until we fell asleep
