After walking south to the Moss Rock, Ash sends out his own Eevee as he touches the stone, and then it evolves into a Leafeon, much to their delight.
"So now we have our second Eeveelution." Ash says. "And we have to record its Leaf Blade, Baby-Doll Eyes, and then an Agile Style move."
"If the Professor made these research tasks easier, then that must mean it might be very rare to find them." Serena says. "I mean, some Pokemon like Rowlet and this Leafeon only have tasks that require to use moves, and some of them that are easier to find will require us to feed them or scare them with Scatter Bangs."
"I know what you mean." Ash says.

And when they go south, they also find an Alpha Lopunny that is hopping at the cliffside. Ash says, "Not only we have the Buneary, but we also have the Lopunny as well..."
"But that Lopunny might be high level..." Serena says with concern.
"We have to catch it without being noticed, and we have to defeat it as well." Ash says. "Maybe we should try using the Feather Ball again."
As he throws a Feather Ball, Lopunny manages to get out of it and she already notices them. "Oh no! She noticed us!" Serena says.
"We should run!" Ash yells as they quickly run and hide behind the tree. Lopunny was going to chase them, but when Ash and Serena are out of sight, it just shows a "..." face before walking back. Ash decides to go with the second chance and Serena asks, "Ash? Are you crazy? I don't want to hide again..."
"Trust me...this time it will work." Ash says as he throws another Feather Ball, and it was captured in the end.

"So this is the Grueling Grove..." Ash says, "I wonder if there are my other Pokemon in this place..."
"I don't know..." Serena says as she sees Heracross eating honey from the flowers. "Look, Ash! There is a Heracross!"
"Heracross?" Ash and Pikachu exclaim in surprise as the said Pokemon just hear his voice. Instead of trying to battle them, Heracross just gives Ash a hug.
"What do you know, this really is my Heracross! How are you?" Ash asks, and the Pokemon is also happy to see him.
"That sure is fast, you found another one of your teammate." Serena smiles. "But that size...it can be an alpha Pokemon."
"I know what you mean, welcome back to the group, Heracross." Ash says as the Poke Ball of Heracross also changes into the ancient one.

"Now I think we've traveled all of the places in the Obsidian Fieldlands..." Ash says.
"Except for that island over here." Serena points at the island in the south. "Surely you have Pokemon that can get us across the ocean, right?"
Ash says, "Gyarados and Floatzel can be some good help."
As they ride on the two Pokemon, they notice some Qwilfish in the sea, but they are surprised to see that the Qwilfish is black and the spikes are purple. Ash asks, "Is that a Qwilfish?"
"It looks different from what we used to know." Serena says, "Maybe we should ask Lillie about it?"
Ash says, "You do that, I'll try to capture it."
As Ash is going to capture the Qwilfish, Serena calls Lillie and she answers the call.
"Serena? What's the matter?" Lillie asks.
"Hey, Lillie. I think we found another Pokemon that we need to confirm. Is there some sort of Sinnoh form of Qwilfish?" Serena asks.
"A Sinnoh form of Qwilfish..." Lillie asks in confusion, and then Serena also hears a voice, "I have never heard about a Sinnoh form of Qwilfish before."
"Wait, Professor Oak? He was with you?" Serena asks.
"Yeah, with the Wyrdeer and Kleavor, I ask him to help me out by researching them." Lillie says. "And I think there is an ancient form of Qwilfish from this book, it is a Dark and Poison type Pokemon."
Professor Oak says, "I see, the book also said that Qwilfish has an evolution called Overqwil, and to evolve it, you need to have Qwilfish learn Barb Barrage."
"Overqwil..." Serena mutters, "That is some good information."
At the same time, Ash manages to capture the Qwilfish and also defeat it by Gastrodon's Ground-type move.

After Serena finishes calling, Ash asks, "So? How is it, Serena?"
"According to Professor Oak, we can try to evolve Qwilfish by having it use Barb Barrage. Maybe like Wyrdeer, we have to evolve it by using Strong-style Barb Barrage for 20 times." Serena says. "The evolution is named Overqwil."
"More like overkill..." Ash mutters as they decide to land at Ramanas Island. On the island, they are surprised to see a lot of Aipom. They decide to use them as targets to help Qwilfish evolve. And once 20 times are reached, it evolves into an Overqwil.

"So now we only need to find more Eeveelutions, a Raichu, a Crobat, a Golem, a Golduck, a Vespiquen, a Scizor, and an Ambipom." Ash says, "With these included, we've already had 88 of them."
But something tells me that there are more." Serena says, "Let's get back to the Heights Camp so we can go back to Jubilife Village."
Ash nods as they rush towards there.
And I'll end the chapter here, Ash and Serena already captured all the Pokemon they can capture in the Obsidian Fieldlands, I hope you like it and the next chapter will be more side requests.
