"Jimbo, it’s not what it looks like!!"

He didn’t know how to respond. His dad was romantically embracing another person other than his wife, and it was Freddy fazbear for that matter.

"Then what is it?"

"Nah you’re right."

"Dad how could you do this? To me? To mom? I thought you were homophobic…"

"Oh Jim I didn’t mean for you to find out this way…I don’t love your mom that way anymore… I love him!"

"But he’s a man?"

"Well son, once I sat on a banana.”

"What?"

"James I still love your mom, but I can only see her as a friend anymore. I’m moving in with Freddy."

"But what will happen to us?"

"I don’t know Jimmy. I don’t know."

Jimmy tried adjusting to this massive bombshell of information that had just been dropped on him. He could practically rip his balls off out of frustration.

"I’m…im leaving."

"Jimbo? Jimmy??”

His dad tried chasing Jimmy to his room, but the young gay shut his door and locked it right before he could reach the doorknob.

He grabbed his largest backpack, a red jansport with a black front pocket, and shoved in a blanket, and a whole months worth of red t shirts and blue jeans inside of it. In the front pocket, Jimmy crammed in his toothbrush, toothpaste and hair comb. No deodorant though, he thugs it out.

His dad banged on the bedroom door, frantically asking for entrance, Jimmy ignored him, however.

He grabbed a duffel bag from the one time he joined lacrosse (???) and stuffed in a small pillow, a tub of ice cream, a tiny jar of toothpicks, a garden gnome, and his moms back massager (used for other purposes).

Finally, he grabbed his wallet, car keys and a 3 day old bottle of blue Powerade.

He snatched up all of his belongings under one arm and opened the window to his bedroom. He stepped out and said his goodbyes in his head, All while apologizing to his mom for leaving her. The sky started to turn a murky grey, the smell of geosmin piercing the ozone layer.

He ran to the car his parents bought him for his 16th birthday and started the ignition as quickly as possible. His dad, along with Freddy ran outside to stop him, under the now falling water droplets. As Jimmy started to pull out of the driveway, His dad stepped in front of the vehicle.

"Jimmy where do you think you’re going?"

"I’m getting out of this place, out of retroville!”

"But where are you going to go? What about your family? Your friends?"

"I can’t stay here knowing life is only going to get worse if I do! You don’t know how things have happened, how my life has changed! I still love you and mom, but seeing you, trying to keep me from leaving is breaking my heart! Tell mom I love her. And I love you too."

Hugh neutron was breathing heavily, his shirt being weighed down and wrinkled by the heavy rain. He slowly stepped away from the car and grabbed Freddy’s hand.

And without another word, Jimmy left
