Chapter Two

At first, I'm startled by the contact. But, after a while of our lips just resting together, I feel my jaw and chin move, and I know I'm kissing him back.

It's a long time before I pull away. " So. . ." I say.

" So?" He says. I squint at him. " So? Do you feel the same way?"

Do I? I can't deny that the last couple of weeks have felt different.

But real or not real?

I take a deep breath. " I- I don't know- I think- I think so," I stutter.

He puts his hand under my chin and makes me look him in the eye. " Jen? Do you have feelings for me?"

" I-" I stutter, my breath catching.

" You like me, real or not real?" He asks, his blue eyes sparkling at me.

" Real," I say without hesitation.

" You have feelings for me, real or not real?"

I gulp. " I-uh-I- Rea-real." I say, and he smiles widly, then crashes his lips against mine again.

" Hey, Jen!" Josh calls, and I turn round, running towards him. He wolf whistles and I smirk, wrapping my arms round his neck and kissing him.

When I pull away, I see Liam standing behind Josh.

" Hey, Liam!" We both yell in unison.

" Hey, guys." He mumbles.

" You're not on set today," I say.

" Yeah, I thought I'd come by to watch filming," he says, just as Frances hollers for us to get into starting position.

We sit on the beach. " Three, two, one, action!" Frances yells.

I immediately crash my lips against Josh, engulfing him in a passionate kiss. It goes on for longer than it usually does, and it probably looks more convincing.

It certainly feels it.

" Cut!" Frances yells. " That's a wrap! Everybody get some sleep tonight, we're doing some important scenes."

I get up and begin to walk away, when I feel Josh's arms wrap around my waist. I smirk, and he whispers, " Movie night?"

I nod. " Who'll we invite?" I ask. I feel him shrug against my body.

" Woody?" He answers. " Liam? Sam? Jena?"

" Sure," I say, and tilt my head, touching my lips to his slightly. Then I pull away, walking towards the snack bar.

" Oh, come one!" I hear him shout, then run after me. I laugh and whip round at the last minute, jumping into his arms. He catches me.

" Calm down there, star crossed lovers," Sam chuckles. I jump down, and turn around, seeing Jena and Liam along with Sam.

" Hey, guys, what about a movie night tonight?" I ask. Everyone's eyes light up.

" Sure!" Jena says.

I turn around and kiss Josh softly.

But when I turn around, Liam is glaring at us.

Everyone piles into Josh's trailor, carrying beer and snacks. They set everything down on the glass coffee table and sit on the couch.

I hear a ping from my phone and I pick it up, reading the text.

It's from Nicholas.

' Hey, Jen. I love you. I'm so sorry, please take me back? :) 💘'
