Everyone jumped down the trapdoors they picked, everyone landed swiftly well except for Leorio he landed face first (Classic). But they realized that they all landed together in the same room. The silence broke by an awkward laugh,

"Well that was a short farewell" Leorio said while laughing awkwardly.

Everyone agreed. Until they saw five watches on a table (yes were not counting Tonpa into this). They all wore the watch and suddenly a speaker spoke up startling everyone. The speakers introduced himself as Lippo, the prison warden. 'Wait prison warden?' everyone thought. He told the two mechanics of the watch. The first one is to tell how much time they have left and the second is to decide in certain situations and which is majority wins. The first door had a sentence ontop, 'Which way? X for left or O for right'. Everyone started to discuss which would be best to go through. Everyone ended with right so they went for the right door. Once they entered, they were greeted by an arena were the outer is a deep wide hole, the arena was huge, massive even. They think that the opponents might be big and strong. On the other side, there were cloaked people and also hands together chained. Everyone suspected that it may be a battle to go through.

(Ok yall so, I removed that one prisoner tha Tonpa fought but I replaced him with another and put their fight at the end. And yeh ill make the introduction and fights short, since yall know what happened bc ik this aint yalls first hxh fanfic)

Few minutes later so far most of them passed, well for Leorio he failed since he lost a bet. And for Y/N she was about come up, but she sensed a scent again, but it was stronger than the one she fought awhile back. Y/N perked up, it may have eaten more humans than the other one she fought a day ago.

"The next prisoner may come up to the arena" Lippo said,
"You can do this Y/N I believe in you!" Gon said to motivate her. Y/N gave Gon a small hum as a response.
"What the fuck? Am I actually fighting a small fry? A lttle bitch? I might just have fun torturing you to death." As it said, revealing whats under the cloak. It was a demon. As the cloak was removed, his limbs got bigger.
"And while Im at it, once youre dead. Might aswell feed on you" As it laughs menancingly. (Im bad at action scenes but I have to so fuck it)

Y/N didn't take it lightly. As the demon stopped its shenanigans and looked at Y/N directly, it was terrified of her. Her aura wasn't light as it was before, darker even, her bloodlust was leaking out filling the whole arena. Her appearance has changed, her eyes were slit, her face had buldging veins, and she was ready to attack it. And the countdown ended, Y/N attacked it mercilessly without giving the other demon a chance to attack. Y/N stopped attacking as she wants to save her energy, but slowly the demon regained its composure back and started to throw punches at her. Y/n was fed up with meeting with these kinds of demons. As it was done, Y/N rolled up her sleeves, sharpened her claws, and cut both of her palms.

"Y/N WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! WHY ARE HURTING YOURSELF?!" Gon yelled in concern. As the others were watching her attentively, worried sick about her. They never saw her like that before. They thought the Y/N they know was innocent, pure, kind, and sweet. But at this point, they realized that Y/N is not all sweet and pure but rather another of her nature appeared, rebelious, strong, and merciless.

The two demons were exchanging attacks, until Y/N decided to use her blood art. She was finding an opening to attack it, and she found it. Everything was in slow motion, Y/N readied her blood art as the opening was becoming more high in chance. 'Blood Demon Art:...' Y/N started to prepare her attack while waiting for her chance. She spilled her blood all over the demon, on the floor, and mid air, 'Blood Crystalization!' she activated her blood art, her blood drops were turned into spikes. The demon was pierced by all the spikes that suddenly appeared. As the demon was stunned, Y/N took the opportunity to crush the demon's head with her leg. But the demon caught her leg in time and flinged her above. Y/N created more spikes and hit the demon dealing with more damage. But the demon kept regenerating so even big damages don't affect them. Y/N has a plan, but it wasn't a guaranteed win. She wanted to try something with her Blood Art. She started to leaping into it, attempting to distract it. She saw another chance, everything became slow motion again. She leaped into the air, grasp her hands together, 'Blood Demon Art: Crystallized Weapon Conjuring' (this is a shitty ass name but roll with it ig-) As she said this in her mind, a crystal Hammer was formed with her blood. And she took the chance to crush the demon, before the demon could even react she swung her hammer down onto it, crushing it finally. As her hammer retracted, all that was left from the demon was its blood everywhere, scattered from the impact. Everyone was shocked at what they just watched, how can someone look so sweet and innocent, but so strong and sinister when angered? Lippo declared Y/N the winner and they earned another victory point.

Y/N walked back still raging from the fight. But since after the lost bet, they had to stay in a room for 50 hours as a punishment from it. Everyone got inside and got locked in as the timer is decreasing. Y/N decided to take a rest and others try to entertain themselves from what the room has inside. It wasn't long before Y/N went to sleep, she was drained from the fight and she used allot her energy to form her Blood Art. (get ready for lots of dialogues lol)

"Hey guys, do you think Y/N will be okay?" Gon asked the others
"Yeah, Im kinda worried for her. I cant believe she cut her palms like that without even flinching. Im surprised honestly" Leorio said,
"Yeah but, where did all the blood go?" Killua asked,
"What do you mean?" Gon asked,
"Havent you realized? All the blood from her hand is gone, even her wound" Killua said,
"How is it even possible? Maybe she just wiped off the blood on her hand" Leorio said,
"And the wound?"
"Its not like humans can regenerate themselves that fast, so I doubt that" Leorio reassuringly said,
"I wouldn't be so sure about that" Kurapika said while reading an anonymous book, (it's the same book the Y/N read when she was a kid)
"and why is that? Its not like theres other human like creature that arent human.. Right?"
"According to this book, I don't think there is only one type of human-like creature"
"Whats the book about?" Gon asked while leaning onto Kurapika trying see what he was reading,
"Its doesn't have a title nor an author, But it was said that the writer himself wrote 5 copies about this book, so its pretty rare to find one"
"But what is it about?" Killua leaning onto Kurapika as well,
"First off can you two get off me both of you are heavy," Kurapika said as the two stop leaning onto him "And second, Im not overall sure if this actually exists or not"
"And how so?" Leorio said slouching on the couch
"By summary, it is about demons" Kurapika said
"D-DEMONS?!" Leorio shouted, 'Oh for the love of God just make him mute already' Y/N thought to herself. Y/N woke up after the noise, and tried to sleep again.

"Shh, you'll wake up Y/N!" Killua said whisper-shouting at Leorio, Leorio whispered back at Killua making him angry and started an argument between the two. While the other two continued to read the book,
" Hey guys theres something interesting in this book" Gon called his friends, the two looked over the other two.
"It says that:

'Demons don't eat human food but human flesh and sometimes others rely on rest to regain their energy, the more they eat the more powerful they get. They always hunt at night and are more commonly seen in villages and large populated areas. They also ingest human flesh to regenerate broken body parts. They also have unique powers that uses their own blood to draw their own powers. They have rankings, highest ranking is the Demon King and followed by Uppermoon and Lowermoon. It is ranked by kill count and strength. They are known in distant lands and villages. People think this as a legend or myth, but it is actually real. Most demons are easily noticable, they have traits like pale skin, horns, abnormal looking eyes, different body structure and much more. But some of them look more like regular humans. But they can show their demon side when they are angered, enraged or emotionally unstable.

There are many ways to kill one. In order to kill a demon, you will be needing a "nichirin sword" which is one of the rarest ores on earth amd use it to slay the demon, specifically to cut the head off to finish it. Demons have weakness, one is the sun and second is Wisteria Flowers and its properties. These weaknesses can be used as our advantages. As some demon slayers maximized these resources to eradicate the demons. And not only that-'"

"Whoa whoa whoa! Calm down I can understand one topic at a time so please calm down. One information at a time please!" Leorio said.
"Yeah and plus, whats the connection with that and Y/N?" Killua added
"Well if you havent noticed, Y/N has been sleeping a lot during the exam. And she hasn't been eating since weve met." Kurapika said
"And come to think of it, Y/n looks different when she was angry. her eyes went slit and her nails sharpen. And the way her blood turned into spikes somehow." Gon added
"And not to mention her bloodlust that filled the whole arena" Killua said,
"What do you mean? Was it the sudden tension" Gon asked
"Yes Gon, it means she was angry when she fought the prisoner" Kurapika said
"If we put all the pieces together then....

.....Could Y/N be a demon?"
