"Mina, seriouslyβ€”"

"You scared?" Bakugo interrupted, stepping forward with his usual smirk.

Y/N's irritation flared, and she rolled her shoulders back. "Of you? Never."

The group erupted into cheers, and despite her nerves, Y/N found herself squaring off against Bakugo.

The Match Begins

Y/N started cautiously, activating her quirk and keeping her distance as Bakugo stood motionless, arms crossed.

"You're not even trying," she accused.

"I don't need to," he shot back.

"Oh, you are so cocky."

Bakugo smirked. "Prove me wrong."

Y/N charged forward, feinting to the left before pivoting to aim a low sweep at his legs. He dodged effortlessly, his movements almost lazy.

"That all you got?" he taunted.

Y/N gritted her teeth, focusing on his stance. She tried again, this time managing to land a glancing hit that made him stumble slightly.

The group cheered loudly.

"Not bad," Bakugo admitted, brushing off his arm.

"Thanks," Y/N said, her tone saccharine. "I aim to impress."

But Bakugo wasn't about to let her get the upper hand. In an instant, he surged forward, grabbing her wrist and twisting her arm just enough to immobilize her.

"Gotcha," he said, his voice low and teasing.

Y/N's heart raced as she struggled against his grip, her breath catching when she realized just how close they were. His crimson eyes locked onto hers, and for a moment, the noise of their friends disappeared.

"You're too slow," he said, his voice quieter than usual.

Y/N glared up at him, determined not to show how flustered she felt. "Or maybe you're just predictable."

The tension between them was palpable, and Y/N could feel her cheeks heating under his intense gaze.

"Hey!" Mina's voice broke the spell. "What's with the close contact? You two gonna kiss or what?"

The group burst into laughter, and Bakugo immediately let go, stepping back with a muttered curse. His face was burning, and Y/N couldn't stop the nervous laugh that escaped her lips.

"I think I won," she said, trying to play it cool.

"In your dreams," Bakugo snapped, but there was no real bite to his words.

The group eventually moved on to another match, but Bakugo remained at the edge of the clearing, clearly annoyed. Y/N grabbed a water bottle and walked over to him, her curiosity getting the better of her.

"Hey," she said, offering him the bottle. "You okay?"

"I'm fine," he muttered, refusing to meet her eyes.

Y/N sighed, rolling her eyes. "You don't have to sulk just because I almost beat you."

Bakugo turned to glare at her. "You didn't even come close."

"Sure, whatever you need to tell yourself."

Before he could snap back, a sudden chill in the air made Y/N shiver. She hadn't realized how cold it had gotten since the fire had died down.

"Cold?" Bakugo asked gruffly, his eyes flicking to her bare arms.

"I'm fine," she said, but her body betrayed her with another shiver.

Bakugo huffed, pulling off his hoodie and tossing it at her. "Here. Stop complaining."

"I wasn't complaining," Y/N said, but she slipped it on anyway. It was warm and smelled faintly of caramel and smoke.

When she looked up to thank him, she was surprised to see a rare softness in his expression. "Thanks, Bakugo."

"Tch. Whatever," he muttered, turning away.

Mina, who had been watching the whole exchange, gasped loudly. "Did Bakugo justβ€”did you two justβ€”oh my God, they're adorable!"

The group turned to look, and Y/N groaned, hiding her face in her hands. "Mina, stop!"

"Bakugo gave her his hoodie!" Mina said, grinning like a maniac.

"Shut up before I blow you up!" Bakugo barked, his face bright red.

The laughter between the fellow classmates continued as the night grew on.

The sparring session eventually transitioned into a more relaxed atmosphere, with the team lounging around the fire. Stories were exchanged, snacks passed around, and the occasional teasing remark thrown at Bakugo and Y/N kept everyone entertained.

"Honestly, Y/N, you've been acting bold lately," Mina said, a sly grin on her face.

"Bold?" Y/N tilted her head, feigning innocence. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Oh, you know exactly what I mean," Mina teased. "You're giving Bakugo a run for his money."

Y/N smirked, leaning back against the log she was sitting on. "Maybe he just can't keep up."

Bakugo, sitting across from her, narrowed his eyes. "Careful, Y/N. You're pushing your luck."

"Oh no, I'm terrified," she said mockingly, earning laughter from the group.

Before Bakugo could retort, Mina clapped her hands together. "Okay! New game: Truth or Dare!"

The group groaned in half-hearted protest, but Mina was already setting it up. "C'mon, it's tradition! Denki, you first!"

The game went on with the usual shenanigansβ€”Denki was dared to eat a marshmallow covered in hot sauce, Kirishima had to admit his biggest fear, and Sero was dared to prank-call Aizawa. The group was in stitches when Mina finally turned to Y/N with a mischievous glint in her eye.

"Y/N, truth or dare?"

Y/N hesitated, eyeing Mina warily. "Dare."

Mina's grin widened. "I dare you to sit in Bakugo's lap for the rest of the game."

The group erupted in laughter and gasps, and Y/N's face went beet red. "Mina! You've done this one already!" Her face floating with embarrassment from remembering the last time she got dared to do this.

"What? It's just a game," Mina said innocently, though her giggles betrayed her.

"I'm not doing that," Y/N said firmly, crossing her arms.

"Oh, come on," Denki chimed in. "It's just for fun. What's the big deal?"

Y/N shot a glare at Mina, who was clearly enjoying every second of this. She glanced at Bakugo, expecting him to refuse outright, but he surprised her by leaning back with a smirk.

"Scared again, Y/N?" he drawled.

Her competitive streak flared, and she stood up, brushing off her embarrassment. "Fine."

The group hooted and cheered as she made her way over to Bakugo, who shifted slightly to give her space. She sat down stiffly, trying to ignore the heat radiating from his body and the way his hands casually rested on his knees beside her.

"There. Happy?" she muttered, glaring at Mina.

"Oh, very," Mina said, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

The game continued, but Y/N couldn't focus. She was hyper-aware of Bakugo's presenceβ€”how close he was, how solid his frame felt against her back, how his quiet breathing brushed against her ear.

"You're tense," Bakugo muttered, his voice low enough that only she could hear.

"Well, I'm sitting in your lap in front of everyone. What do you expect?" she hissed back.

He chuckled softly, the sound sending a shiver down her spine. "Relax, dumbass. You're making it weird."

"I'm making it weird?" she shot back, but before she could say more, Kirishima shouted her name.

"Y/N! Your turnβ€”truth or dare?"

"Uh, truth," she said quickly, hoping to avoid more embarrassment.

Kirishima grinned. "Alright, here's a good one: Who do you have a crush on?"

The group erupted in laughter and whistles, and Y/N froze. She felt Bakugo tense slightly behind her, but his face was unreadable.

"Pass," she said quickly.

"You can't pass on a truth!" Mina said, clapping her hands in delight. "Come on, Y/N, spill it!"

"I said pass..." The group was still buzzing with energy when Mina leaned forward with her trademark mischievous grin. "Alright, new rule! Whoever gets dared has to kiss someone in the group!"

The announcement sent a ripple of laughter and protests through the group, but Y/N's stomach flipped as Mina's sharp gaze settled on her.

"Y/N," Mina said, her voice dripping with playful menace. "Truth or dare?"

Y/N narrowed her eyes at Mina, knowing she was about to regret her answer no matter what she chose. "Dare," she said reluctantly.

Mina's grin widened. "I dare you to kiss Bakugo."

Chaos erupted instantlyβ€”Denki hollered, Kirishima gasped dramatically, and Sero doubled over in laughter. Y/N's face burned as she turned to glare at Mina.

"You're kidding," she said, her voice barely audible over the commotion.

"Nope," Mina chirped, looking far too pleased with herself.

Y/N started shaking her head, her heart pounding. "I'm notβ€”"

Mina pouted dramatically. "What's the big deal? Unless..." She leaned closer, smirking. "Unless you're too nervous."

"Oi." Bakugo's voice cut through the noise like a whip, silencing everyone instantly. He glared at Mina, his jaw tight. "Knock it off, Pinky."

But Mina, undeterred, tilted her head and smirked. "Oh? What's the problem, Bakugo? You scared too?"

Bakugo clicked his tongue, standing abruptly. The group immediately fell silent, watching with wide eyes as he walked over to Y/N, towering over her with an unreadable expression.

"Fine," he muttered, his crimson eyes locking onto hers.

Y/N froze. "Waitβ€”"

Before she could finish, Bakugo leaned down slightly and, in a low voice only she could hear, grumbled, "This isn't new, anyway."

The world seemed to freeze for Y/N, her eyes widening in shock. "What?" she whispered, staring up at him.

"What did you just say!?" Mina interrupted, her voice shooting up an octave.

Bakugo barely spared her a glance, his lips curling into a smirk. "You heard me."

The group collectively gasped, their eyes darting between Bakugo and Y/N.

Mina's jaw dropped. "Wait, wait, wait! Are you saying you've already kissed?"

Y/N's face went scarlet, and she instinctively started to protest. "It's notβ€”"

But before she could finish, Bakugo turned back to her with a wicked grin. "Guess I'll remind you."

Without giving her a chance to react, he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her close, his lips crashing against hers in a kiss that was far from innocent. Y/N gasped against him, her hands instinctively gripping his shoulders as the world around them dissolved into chaos.

The group erupted into whistles, cheers, and loud laughter, but Y/N couldn't focus on anything other than Bakugo's mouth moving against hers, firm and demanding. His hand slid up her waist, his touch igniting a fire under her skin.

When his other hand slipped down, fingers teasingly dipping just beneath the waistband of her sweatpants, her eyes flew open, and she let out a small, startled sound against his lips.

Bakugo chuckled, low and rough, before pulling back just enough to look down at her. His smirk was infuriatingly smug. "What's wrong? Too much for you?" he murmured, his voice dripping with mockery.

Her heart was pounding so loudly she thought it might burst. "You're such aβ€”"

Before she could finish her insult, Mina's voice cut through the haze. "Bakugo Katsuki! Did I just see what I think I saw?"

Bakugo didn't even look at her, his smirk growing as he leaned closer to Y/N. "You liked it," he whispered, his voice low enough that only she could hear.

"Shut up," she hissed, her face burning.

"Y/N! Details, now!" Mina was practically vibrating with excitement, her eyes wide and sparkling.

Y/N shoved at Bakugo's chest, trying to regain some semblance of composure. "There are no details!" she snapped, her voice an octave higher than usual.

"Yeah, right," Denki chimed in, grinning like an idiot. "We all saw that!"

Kirishima laughed, clapping his hands together. "Man, I didn't think Bakugo had it in him to pull something like that in front of everyone!"

Bakugo growled, his eyes narrowing at his friend. "Shut it, shitty hair."

"Oh, this is the best day ever," Mina said, practically bouncing in her seat. "Y/N, spill! Was that the first time?"

Y/N groaned, burying her face in her hands. "I'm not talking about this!"

Bakugo chuckled darkly, leaning back slightly but keeping one arm around Y/N's waist. "Good luck getting her to say anything," he said, his voice filled with amusement.

Mina smirked, pointing a finger at him. "You're not off the hook either, Bakugo! What's the story?"

"Tch," he muttered, his smirk softening into something more private as he glanced at Y/N. "Figure it out yourself."

The teasing and laughter continued, but Y/N couldn't focus on anything except the warmth of Bakugo's arm still resting against her waist and the memory of his lips on hers.

Whatever this was, it wasn't something she could ignore anymoreβ€”and judging by the way Bakugo looked at her, neither could he.
