The Ninja and (Name) burst through the ceiling and into his room. The Ninja carrying (Name) in his arms when he landed on the floor. "Viceroy."
"Ninja and..." Viceroy flinched before he stare at the girl in his arms in confusion. "You're not (Hero name)."
"She's on a secret mission." The two replied casually as the Ninja set her down on her feet gently.
"We just need to talk." The Ninja told Viceroy.
But he instead pull out a whistle from his popcorn bowl and blow it. Making a cyborg werewolf appear out of the vase behind the duo. (Name) yelped in surprise and leaped out of the way while the Ninja hold off the cyborg werewolf.
"Oh, heavens! I love your look." Viceroy complimented the girl as if there's no fighting in the background.
"Gerry Driscoll is alive." (Name) told Viceroy while she keep her distance from the cyborg werewolf.
Viceroy gasped and stop his cyborg werewolf from attacking the Ninja. (Name) and the Ninja sigh in relief as the cyborg werewolf sit patiently in front of the fireplace.
The Ninja put away his sword and added, "Actually, sorta alive. Really a mix of alive and not alive. The point is, he's back and, you know..."
"He wants to finish his Doomsday Device." Both Ninja and Viceroy finished in unison.
"Right, no, yeah. You got it, you said it." The Ninja mumbled with Viceroy ignoring him.
"And because of our history, only I can find him." Viceroy dramatically say, having that important character moment before leaving the room with the Ninja and (Name) following.
OUTSIDE
Mrs. Driscoll waits in the car just outside of the McFist gates. Viceroy, the Ninja and (Name) joined her in the car. Ninja and (Name) in the back while Viceroy sits in the passenger's seat.
"Hello, Marlene." Viceroy greeted her as he strap himself in.
"Willem." Mrs. Driscoll greeted back before she start the car and drive.
"So, Doomsday Device. What's the deal there?" The Ninja asks out of curiosity.
"Proof of functioning Doomsday device guarantees you valedictorian at MSU." Viceroy replied. "Summa cum lunatic."
"But the only way to prove it's functioning is to destroy the world." (Name) said to him, joining in the conversation.
"Ah, yes." Viceroy sighed. "The Driscoll Conundrum."
"And you married that wacko?" The Ninja asks Mrs. Driscoll in disbelief.
She bites her lip bashfully and she twirl a piece of her hair. "I like dangerous men."
TIME SKIP: MUSEUM OF SILT
"What are we doing at the Museum of Silt, Mr. Viceroy?" (Name) asks the scientist in confusion before she notice the light coming out of a giant vent at the corner of the parking space.
Nearly going pass the Museum, Viceroy speaks up. "Back up. Back up."
Mrs. Driscoll put the car in reverse and stop the vehicle in front of the museum.
"There, under the gift shop." Viceroy tell them, pointing at the same light (Name) noticed.
Viceroy was first to leave the car, and then (Name). The Ninja stop himself from leaving and turn to Mrs. Driscoll. "Wait here, Mrs. Driscoll."
"But..."
"It could be dangerous." The Ninja added after he jump out of the car through the window and joins Viceroy and (Name).
"But i like that." Mrs. Driscoll muttered sadly but she stay seated in the car anyway.
Viceroy, the Ninja and (Name) climb down the ladders and into Gerry's lab where he's continuing his Doomsday Device and holding Howard hostage in a cage.
"SMOKE BOMB!" The Ninja exclaimed, appearing on the top of the stairs with the red smoke disappearing into thin air, (Name) climbing down the ladder and Viceroy floating down using his device.
"Hello, Ninja." Gerry greeted with a smirk.
"Hey!"
"And real Viceroy... And girl with great fashion." Gerry added, the last part in confusion.
"Thank you." (Name) muttered with a smile.
"Gerry. I see the diet worked." Viceroy say to the skeleton, unamused.
"So glad you're here, to witness my superior brain." He say with a cackle, taking off the top of his skull which has no brain whatsoever.
The Doomsday Device open up piece by piece and a blaster lifts itself out of the orb, everything was glowing blue, pink and purple.
Earth will be destroyed in two minutes.
"Not if i have anything to say about it." The Ninja declared, jumping up from the top of the stairs and kick Gerry down, scattering his parts on the floor.
The Ninja approach the Doomsday Device and found the operating system just in front of him. The Ninja stares down at it in utter confusion and surprise before he speaks again, "Oh, boy. Not if Viceroy has anything to say about it."
(Name) jumped over the railing and joined The Ninja's side. "Ooh! A lot of science in here." She winced at the bright blue light while she say that.
Viceroy join them not a minute later and was about to take a look at the mechanism until Howard took his interest at first sight. "Ooh, and who is this stylish young fellow?"
Howard and Viceroy look at each other for a second before he added, "Hmm. You even got the glasses right."
"Viceroy!" Both Ninja and (Name) exclaimed, pulling him back with his red scarf.
Viceroy return to the operating system and hummed. "I'm gonna need about 20 hours." He told them.
The trio perked up as the machine say,
One minute, 42 seconds.
They look at each other before they were startled by a blast coming from Gerry's electric bo staff.
"You got a minute 42. Pretty girl, you stay here and keep Viceroy safe." The Ninja told them, pulling out his sword from his suit and charge to attack Gerry.
"You got it, Ninja." (Name) replied and watch him run towards Gerry to take him down whilst standing by Viceroy's side.
59 seconds
Viceroy and (Name) gasped in panic as the scientist try to disarm the Doomsday Device fast just under a minute.
"Come on, Viceroy! You can do it!" (Name) frantically encouraged.
"Why don't you just unplug it?" Howard yelled from his cell.
"Because it's nuclear-powered. Wearing a lab coat doesn't make you a scientist." Viceroy replied in frustration before going back to work.
(Name) heard the metal ladder clang and look up. She gasped when she realized that Mrs. Driscoll have been following them this whole time. She went to the stairs but halted when she notice the Ninja and Gerry from the corner of her eye.
Instead of the electric bo staff, he was using his bone arm as a weapon. The Ninja jumped out of the way when he swing at him.
"Ninja Table Spin Kick!" He shouted as he swing his leg at Gerry's jaw. He didn't stand long until Gerry smack him across the face with his skeleton arm, sending him across and to the ground.
Gerry walk over and place his foot on his chest. "Aha! I've got a bone to pick with you." Gerry smirked.
"Oh, Gerry." Mrs. Driscoll giggled from the top of the stairs.
Once Gerry turn his skull to look at her, he couldn't help but feel giddy and waved with his detached arm. "Hi!"
"Aw!" (Name) say in slight adoration.
"Heads up!" The Ninja yelled, kicking Gerry's skull off of his neck bone.
"Ha! Good one." Howard laughed.
Gerry's skull flew into the air before falling into (Name)'s hands. She grinned and look up to the Ninja who approached her.
"Put me back, put me back!" He ordered desperately as his skeleton body walk around aimlessly.
"How does the bowtie stay on? That makes no sense." The Ninja asks the girl in front of him in confusion.
Mrs. Driscoll walks over and hold his skeleton body from approaching the teenagers. "It's over, Gerry." She told him sadly.
"But I didn't blow up the world. How will I ever be valedictorian?" Gerry say to Mrs. Driscoll in sadness.
"They named a valedictorian." She told him causing Viceroy to pull his head out with a giddy grin and a wave before turning back to disarm the Doomsday Device.
"And besides, if you blow up the world..." She added, looking down to Gerry who's skull is in the teenage girl's hands.
"We won't be together anymore." He finishes for her.
"Are you crazy?" The Ninja asks Mrs. Driscoll in disbelief.
"Crazy for this bag of bones." She said happily, taking his skull from (Name)'s hands and she start kissing him.
"No! No." The two teenagers groaned in disgust, turning away and closing their eyes as the kiss continues.
"Oh, boy." Howard say frantically before he gagged. "Oh, boy."
Once Mrs. Driscoll stops, Gerry turns to the machine and say, "Put me by the scanner."
She did what he said and raise his skull in front of the scanner.
Ten seconds.
The machine say before it scans Gerry's skull.
Completing retina scan. ID match.
"Deactivate." Gerry simply say and the Doomsday Device shuts down.
"But he doesn't have retinas." Viceroy say in confusion.
(Name) got Howard out of the cell and help him down before they walk over to join the others.
"So, that happened." Howard spoke.
"Oh, Gerry. Now that you're back, we're going to do so many wonderful things together." Mrs. Driscoll sigh dreamily, nuzzling her forehead against his skull.
"Yup! Frying the Earth is small potatoes. I'm just dying to get going on my Destroyed the Universe machine." Gerry declared excitedly. "And after I mash the whole Universe..."
Mrs. Driscoll cover both of his earholes. "On second thought, maybe we're all better off if we go back to how things were."
"...Destroy them all!"
Mrs. Driscoll hands Gerry's skull to The Ninja. He stuffed his teeth with his red scarf so he wouldn't talk so much more. "Howard." He quietly say to the boy in Viceroy costume.
Howard nod his head, take off his coat and put it over Mrs. Driscoll's shoulders before he lead her out of the lab. Viceroy was the first one to leave before them.
(Name) and the Ninja look at each other with smiles on their faces before he undo the Art of Healing spell and place his skull back on the neck bone.
"I told you meddling with the dead is bad." She say to him, placing her hands on the now dead skeleton.
"Yeah, you're right. But even without the hero suit, you're just as helpful." The Ninja say to her, lifting his mask from his mouth to speak better.
"Of course. Which is why, it's okay to ask for help sometimes. Even from me. But not all the time, ok?" She smile up at him.
"Of course, (Name). We can always count on you to help us." Randy smiled down at her before they loop their arms together and leave the lab with Gerry's skeleton. And of course, the Ninja pull his mask back down to cover his face.
They walk towards Mrs. Driscoll who was just waiting outside of the car. "I'm sorry it had to be this way." The Ninja say apologetically.
"I know, he was too dangerous. At least now he won't complain about taking me dancing." Mrs. Driscoll smiled before she move his jaw and say in a deep voice like she always do.
"Aw, but i've got two left feet."
The Ninja groaned quietly before he dismissed himself from everyone and left using his smoke bomb. (Name) joins Howard in the backseat with Gerry's skeleton between them.
"You know, i gotta ask." (Name) say, putting on her seatbelt.
"Ask away." Howard hummed, putting on his seatbelt.
"How did he talk without a larynx?" She asks quietly as Mrs. Driscoll and Viceroy hop in.
"A what?"
"A voice box."
"Oh... I don't know."
TIME SKIP: SCHOOL
Randy, Howard and (Name) poke their heads into the science classroom and watches Mrs. Driscoll and the skeleton of Gerry dance around to a gentle music.
(Name) pulled both boys away from the door before she can start kissing the skeleton and they smile.
"Who's still up for that bet?" She smirked which made the two boys smirk as well.
"You're on!" They both exclaimed.
The trio takes off, running through the hallway and exit the school to Whoopee World Fright-tacular.
