"Stay away from him." Taehyung's voice was a fierce roar as he pushed Jimin away from Jungkook with a forceful motion, his protective instincts kicking in. Simultaneously, his right hand instinctively encircled Jungkook's waist, pulling him closer with a possessive grip of comfort and assurance.

"Hey, bun, are you alright?" Taehyung asked Jungkook, worry-lacing his words, his left hand gently tucking back Jungkook's hair and tenderly caressing his cheek.

Nestled securely in Taehyung's embrace, Jungkook could feel his own heartbeat echoing against Taehyung's chest. He couldn't help but notice the way Taehyung's left hand trembled slightly as it stroked his cheek—the worry and fear evident in Taehyung's eyes.

As Jungkook remained silent, Taehyung began a careful examination, studying his face intently, all the while maintaining a soothing caress along his back and constant reassurance that he was safe.

Jungkook watched Taehyung's every overwhelming expression and action, realising that Taehyung's brown eyes were speaking the language of love. In that moment, he felt like he had finally obtained everything he had yearned for for so long.

Jimin winced in agony as his head made contact with the unforgiving metal of the sofa, a sharp pain coursing through him as his back slammed against the hard floor.

He pulled away from Rose's hand, his voice strained as he tried to shrug off her assistance. "Thank you, but I don't need your help." Jimin sighed, the words laced with discomfort and frustration.

His clammy hands wiped at the blood on his forehead, the pain a constant reminder of the humiliation he had just faced. He couldn't bring himself to look up, knowing whose voice was now filled with concern and care, once meant for him but now directed at someone else.

"Hey, Jungkook, are you here?" Taehyung's gentle, worried inquiry reached his ears, his hand tenderly stroking Jungkook's hair.

Jungkook nodded in response, struggling to contain the surge of emotions that threatened to overwhelm him. He wasn't physically hurt, but the flood of care and compassion in Taehyung's eyes tugged at his heartstrings.

"You're fine, right?" Taehyung asked again, concern evident in his gaze as he continued to watch over Jungkook.

However, Jimin's voice broke through their interaction, interrupting their moment. "But I'm not fine here." The bitterness in his tone was palpable, reflecting the pain and envy that now gnawed at him.

As Taehyung and Jungkook turned towards Jimin, Jungkook couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for Jimin's current state, even despite the difficult circumstances. Taehyung, on the other hand, let out a heavy sigh, guilt weighing on him as he noticed the blood on Jimin's forehead.

"I'm sorry; I had no intention of hurting you," Taehyung admitted, genuinely regretful for the unintended outcome of his actions, all while still holding Jungkook close in a protective embrace.

Jimin chuckled with a bitter sound, realising that even now, Taehyung's care is primarily directed at Jungkook.

He knew he had no one to blame but himself. His own actions had led to this. Being without Taehyung for the past few months had made him realise Taehyung's true worth. No one had ever prioritised him the way Taehyung did.

He became acutely aware of how badly he had treated Taehyung in the past and what a terrible boyfriend he had been. Every mistake he had made haunted him. After the incident at the club, he never attempted to reach out to Taehyung because he lacked the courage to apologise.

Perhaps fate had granted him this chance—a moment of compassion to relieve some of the burdens of regret he carried. He didn't want to waste this opportunity.

Memories flooded back, both beautiful and remorseful. He couldn't carry the weight of his regrets any longer. It was time to accept responsibility and apologise.

"I'm sorry," Jimin whispered, his eyes downcast, unable to muster the strength to meet Taehyung's gaze with his guilt-laden conscience.

Taehyung and Jungkook exchanged glances, a silent communication passing between them. Jungkook then responded, assuming that Jimin was perhaps apologising for his earlier behavior. "It's okay."

Jimin turned to face them both, wiping away his tears. He whispered through his sobs, "It was for Taehyung," leaving Taehyung with a perplexed expression.

Summoning all the bravery he could muster, he looked at Taehyung through tear-filled eyes, choking on his words. "Taehyung, I'm sorry for all I've done to you, for being a terrible boyfriend, and for taking advantage of you whenever I get the chance. A-and—"

His tears blurred his vision, and he wiped them away again, gazing down. His throat felt dry, and he struggled to continue speaking.

Jungkook, averting his gaze from Jimin, glanced at Taehyung. He noticed Taehyung's moist eyes and the sadness in his expression. While unsure of his own emotions and how Taehyung was feeling, Jungkook wasn't pleased with the unfolding situation.

Jimin patted the ground, breaking Jungkook's train of thought. Jimin turned to Taehyung, asking him to sit down so that he could apologise properly.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook, as if seeking his approval, and Jungkook automatically nodded.

After giving Jungkook a reassuring smile, Taehyung released his grip on his waist. Jimin and Taehyung were now face-to-face as Taehyung kneeled in front of him. Despite their proximity, Jimin fought the urge to embrace him as he looked up at Taehyung.

Rose, standing for the duration, felt her legs ache. She resisted the urge to sit on the sofa, deeming it inappropriate given the emotional atmosphere.

"I'm listening," Taehyung said softly when Jimin remained silent, waiting for him to continue.

In this rare moment, Jimin nodded, seizing the opportunity to examine Taehyung up close, and began speaking while stealing glances at him.

"I've wanted to apologise to you for a long time, for all those years when I gave you such a hard time. I'm sorry, Tae. I don't know how I remained so oblivious to you despite receiving so much love, respect, and care from you."

Rose found herself torn between laughing at Jungkook's gradual descent, him tucking his hair behind his ear, trying to catch snippets of their conversation, and feeling empathetic towards Jimin.

Jimin wiped away his tears once again, and Taehyung, noticing some blood trickling down from the wound on Jimin's forehead, retrieved a handkerchief from his pocket. He softly caressed Jimin's wound with it, then held it there, applying light pressure.

As the scene unfolded before him, Jungkook bit his lip, feeling his heart ache. He recalled Taehyung's confession and how Taehyung had told him he forgot Jimin and that only Jungkook mattered to him. But still, he couldn't shake the pain in his heart.

Taehyung heaved a sigh, fully aware of the weight of regret. He knew how difficult it was to live with that burden, and he didn't wish for Jimin to suffer from it. He wanted Jimin to forgive himself, to move on, and to live a wonderful life, leaving all regrets and the past behind.

His thoughts were already planning a conversation with Jungkook later, intending to put an end to any lingering worries if there were still some.

Jimin looked at Taehyung's hand resting on his forehead, then shifted his gaze to him, sharing, "No one took care of me like this after you left."

Taehyung inhaled deeply, pausing for a moment. He then spoke, "I'm doing this because I'm the reason for this injury. Nothing else."

Jimin nodded, feeling the weight of Taehyung's words. "Forgive me for all my mistakes. I'm sorry for all the wrongs I have done to you."

"I forgive you, Jimin. I hold no grudge against you. I'm happy with my life, my husband. I hope you'll find a way to move on from the past and live a happy life," Taehyung said gently, offering genuine forgiveness.

Jimin nodded, his heart heavy with emotion. Taehyung's handkerchief dropped as he stood up, symbolising a closure to their conversation.

Taehyung gently sidled up to Jungkook, wrapping his arm around him in a comforting side hug. Jungkook managed a smile, but the sadness lingered in his doe-like eyes. Taehyung felt an urgent need to comfort him and assure him that everything was okay.

As the conversation unfolded, Jimin turned his attention to Jungkook and said, "I apologise to you too, Jungkook." Jungkook turned towards him and offered a subtle nod, accepting the apology.

Feeling the weight of the situation, Taehyung whispered quietly to Jungkook, "Let's go." Jungkook nodded in agreement.

"Are you leaving?" Rose asked, her voice tinged with sadness. She cherished their presence and wanted them to stay, especially for the cake-cutting.

"We won't be leaving," Taehyung reassured, aligning with Jungkook's choice. Jungkook responded to her, managing a smile. For Taehyung, it didn't matter if they stayed or left; what mattered was that Jungkook felt at ease.

"Thank you, guys," Rose expressed her gratitude. However, Jimin's words interjected, drawing everyone's attention.

"I want to get up and go to my room, but I can't. I need help. I need someone to assist me," Jimin said vulnerably, a genuine need in his voice. The three of them exchanged glances, contemplating the situation.

"Umm, Taehyung..." Jimin hesitated, a glimmer of hope in his eyes, seeking one last caring gesture from Taehyung.

"Yaaa, leave me, leave me, ARGHH! LEAVE ME; I wasn't talking to you," Jimin sighed in surprise as Jungkook hoisted him up.

Taehyung gasped, his lips parting in shock, and Rose couldn't help but chuckle at the amusing scene.

"You don't even have an option, Jimin-ssi, since I'm not allowing Taehyung to pick you up," Jungkook stated, shooting Jimin a glare after lifting him into his arms.

Taehyung raised an eyebrow when Jungkook referred to him this way, not using the honorific he usually did. After receiving an equally stern look from Jungkook, his eyebrows returned to their normal position, and he sheepishly smiled at his beautifully angry husband.

"Where is your room?" Jungkook asked Jimin, who pouted and found himself naturally wrapping his arms around Jungkook's neck. "The second room on the left as you go up the stairs."

Carrying Jimin in his arms, Jungkook walked without uttering a word to anyone.

"He is extremely possessive of you," Rose commented as she settled on the sofa.

"Hmm, very much," Taehyung affirmed, watching Jungkook ascend the stairs.

A knock on the door interrupted their conversation just as Jungkook placed Jimin on the bed. Jimin instructed, "Mr. Cho, bring the first-aid box and bandage me," as the maid entered the room.

Feeling overlooked by Jimin, Jungkook promptly exited the room.

Taehyung met Jungkook as he descended the stairs, a sense of relief washing over him. He gently circled his arms around Jungkook's waist, planting a tender peck on Jungkook's cheek, signalling that all was well. "Did I hurt you? I'm sorry," Taehyung asked, concern etched on his face.

Feeling reassured in Taehyung's warm embrace, Jungkook leaned in and rested his head on Taehyung's shoulder, his arms wrapping around Taehyung in a comforting hug. "No, you don't need to apologize. Everything is fine," he murmured.

Taehyung smiled, hugging Jungkook back tightly. This embrace was filled with care, love, trust, and all the positive feelings they held for each other.

Breaking the hug, Taehyung asked, planting a quick peck on Jungkook's lips, "Shall we have dinner?"

"Sure," Jungkook replied, grabbing Taehyung's hand as they headed towards the dinner arrangements, grateful for the love and support they shared.

Amidst the cosy ambiance of their dinner setting, Taehyung, Jungkook, and Yoongi were engrossed in their meal. However, a subtle unease emanated from Yoongi, his demeanour betraying a sense of disquiet.

Oblivious to the brewing discomfort, Jungkook, after a mouthful of food, noticed Yoongi's apparent disturbance.

"Everything is all right?" he inquired, concern furrowing his brow.

Unbeknownst to Jungkook, Taehyung had been silently intimidating Yoongi with his stern gaze.

Yoongi, nonchalantly chewing on his food, smirked at Taehyung. "Well, a bastard made a lot of trouble back then."

"Bastard?" Jungkook voiced his confusion.

Taehyung clenched his teeth, his eyes sending warning signals to Yoongi, suggesting he cease this line of discussion.

Ignoring Taehyung's warning, Yoongi turned his attention to Jungkook.

"Yeah, a bloody bastard. He took like an hour to open the restroom door when I needed to use it. Can you guess what he was probably doing?" Yoongi revealed a hint of amusement in his voice.

Jungkook, intrigued, inquired, "What?"

A sharp tap of chopsticks on the table by Taehyung, accompanied by a raised eyebrow, conveyed a clear warning to Yoongi—a final caution.

"He was, well, praising himself and not particularly quietly," Yoongi elaborated with a sigh. "Disregarding the inconvenience he was causing to those waiting outside,"

Jungkook couldn't help but react, hissing, "Big, big bastard," before taking another bite. The revelation certainly left an odd taste in the air.

Taehyung, after a frustrated exhale, swept his hand through his hair and asked a perplexing question. His teeth gritted in an odd mix of playfulness and annoyance.

"And you, my pretty husband, don't you want to know who that big, big bastard was and what exactly he was screaming?" Taehyung's words hung in the air, adding a strange tension to the room.

Jungkook, a morsel still in his mouth, blinked repeatedly, trying to comprehend the sudden shift. "W-what?" he stammered in confusion.

Meanwhile, Yoongi, thoroughly enjoying the show, kept himself occupied with his meal, amused by the couple's banter.

Taehyung continued, his tone teasing and playful, yet with an undertone of audacity.

"That big bastard was screaming your name like a whore, striving to attain his climax, because that bastard, Jungkookie, was none other than your husband, who had been converted into a whore by your beauty a long time ago."

An astonished "oh" escaped Jungkook, struggling to process Taehyung's bold revelation. He turned towards Yoongi, but the sly grin on the latter's face made him decide to pretend he hadn't heard anything.

With his head lowered, Jungkook tried to focus on his meal, but the sudden revelation made him feel flustered. Oh, that's why Taehyung disappeared after their makeout session.

Taehyung, not one to let up easily, continued with a playful smirk, stroking Jungkook’s hand.

"Would you not wish to know what that 'whore' of yours was specifically moaning and what he was imagining?" Taehyung asked, his tone suggesting a playful desire to further embarrass Jungkook. "Hmm, Jungkookie? You'll be pleased, darling."

The embarrassment bubbling within Jungkook made him snatch his hand away, unable to endure the playful banter in Yoongi's presence. Oh, what a dinner this had turned out to be.

The banter between Taehyung and Jungkook continued, a playful dance of affection and humor. Taehyung's playful words had set Jungkook's heart racing, even if he tried to mask his flustered state. The term "whore of yours" had an oddly endearing effect on him, leaving a strange warmth within.

and Taehyung decided to tease him further. "You are missing so much fun, Jungkookie; you should know---ARGh! shit." Amidst the playful teasing, a sudden groan of agony escaped Taehyung.

He struggled to maintain his calm facade, quickly remembering Yoongi's presence at the table. Concealing the pain with a forced smile, he bore through it; all the while, Yoongi stifled his chuckles, privy to the little kicking game unfolding under the table.

Jungkook, however, decided to end the charade, sliding his plate away and bursting into giggles, unable to hold it back any longer. It was a delightful, uncontainable laughter, expressing the joy bubbling within him.

Taehyung revelled in that sound, a melody that lightened his soul. He playfully chided Jungkook for reacting so swiftly, a genuine smile gracing his face. Jungkook, still giggling, hid his face momentarily, the flush on his cheeks unmistakable.

Encouraged by Jungkook's laughter, Taehyung scooted his chair closer, inviting Jungkook onto his lap. Jungkook, with rosy cheeks, hesitantly climbed onto Taehyung's lap. Taehyung cradled him close, Jungkook's head resting against his bastard husband's chest, their affectionate bond palpable.

"Your giggle makes me so happy, Jungkook; it's my second favourite melody," Taehyung whispered, enveloping Jungkook in a loving embrace. Jungkook beamed at the words, tightening the embrace in return.

In a playful moment, Jungkook lightly hit Taehyung's abs as he realised the meaning behind Taehyung's comment, eliciting a dramatic groan from Taehyung.

He kissed Jungkook's hair, playfully mumbling, "My violent beauty." The evening was full of laughter, love, and the simple joys of their companionship.

Yoongi sat there, quietly observing the playful scene between Taehyung and Jungkook. A sense of contentment and relief filled him, knowing that his brother was now in a place where love, respect, and care would be reciprocated with the same intensity. It hadn't taken much time for Yoongi to understand Jungkook, and now he has complete faith in him.

As someone who knew Taehyung for a long time, Yoongi held no apprehension about his brother's choice in love. He knew Jungkook was the right person—the missing piece in Taehyung's life. The respect and love they shared were apparent, filling the room with a warm atmosphere.

Taehyung had found his place and his true happiness. In Jungkook's arms, he would receive the love he deserved and the care that had been elusive for so long. Yoongi had no doubts that Jungkook would cherish Taehyung, respect him, and appreciate him without needing a prompt.

The bonds of love were intricate, and Yoongi felt a deep sense of satisfaction watching the tableau of love unfold before him. It was as if a puzzle had found its missing piece, completing a beautiful picture.
