"Oh my gosh!!!! How did he say it??? Did he cry??? I bet he freaked! I need to hear everything!" You exclaimed all in a rush. He could feel your hammering heartbeat through your shirt as you pressed up against him.

He laughed, pulling you away from him just a few inches so he could look at you properly. "He said yes!!! And I'll tell you everything. But I have something even more important to do first."

You cocked your head, searching his face in confusion. "Yeah? What's that?"

Before you could get out another word, Felix leaned in and kissed you. There was a new lightness in his heart that he hadn't fully felt until now. The two of you were free to be together, openly. You had done the right thing and told Hyunjin, and he had given his approval.

And as you kissed him back with the same passion he felt, he knew it had all been worth it. All the stress and fear of hiding, of feeling insecure, had paid off. He still couldn't believe it: he had you. He really, truly had you.

As you both finally broke apart, your gaze floated upwards in wonder. The sky, which had been gloomy and gray for the past two days, had opened up to expose the sun, its rays as bright as your smile. For just a minute, no sign of the impending hurricane could be seen. For just a moment, it was just the two of you, together.

For just a moment, it was a perfect summer day.

contradicting and volcano are my two faves still! i had been waiting for contradicting since hyunjin sang it in concert and was so hyped when it was released on youtube! and volcano is just so good, i have been obsessed since it was released.
