"Hi, Toph. Um, I wanna-"

"Katara, stop," Toph held up a hand to stop the girl's rambling, "You don't need to apologise. I was the one being stupid. These scams are out of control and I'm done with them"

"Actually I wasn't going to apologise, I was gonna say," Katara smiled, "I wanna pull a scam with you"

Meiluna's mouth fell open.

"What? You wanna pull a scam?" Toph asked in utter shock.

"Not just any scam. The ultimate scam," She put an arm around Toph, "What do you say, Toph? Just the girls, me, you, and Luna. One last go. You in?" Katara looked between Toph and Meiluna.

Meiluna jumped up from her spot joining the other two,

"Yes!"

Toph spoke up excitedly,

"You know I'm in! Now what's this idea of yours?"

"How could you do this to me?" Toph cried out angrily as she got caught in a net.

"You brought this on yourself" Katara crossed her arms, looking away.

"We had no choice" Meiluna shook her head disapprovingly, watching as Toph got dragged away.

"You did the right thing by turning in the Runaway" The Town Authority approached the girls.

"The right thing is it's own reward" Katara answered sweetly.

"Well I'm happy to hear you say that" The man answered.

A silence fell between the three before Meiluna subtly elbowed Katara's side.

"Oh, but we still want the actual reward" She added quickly.

"Of course, right this way"

He led the girls into his office.

They stood before his desk as he pulled out a box from underneath it when all of a sudden the door slammed shut behind them. Meiluna jumped at the loud noise when she heard the man yell,

"That's them! These are the girls you were looking for!"

Meiluna instantly turned around,

"Is that Sparky Sparky Boom Man?"

"Wait! It's a trap!" Toph realised.

"Really? No kidding! Is that why were sitting in a wooden cage right now? Gee, how'd you figure that out?" Katara asked sarcastically.

"Not for us! We're the bait!" Toph explained, "He wants Aang"

"I can't believe I'm so stupid!" Katara spoke to herself, "See? This is exactly why I'm against these scams! I knew this would happen!"

"But this was your idea" Toph reminded.

"I know," Katara looked down sadly, "I wanted to show that I'm not so motherly. I wanted to show you that I can have fun too"

"Katara, you are fun. If nothing else, you're at least fun to argue with" Toph consoled.

"I know your relationship with your parents is complicated. And I shouldn't have said what I said"

"It's okay. I was really mad when you said that because," Toph hesitated, "Well, because maybe it's true. I try not to think about it, but when I left, I probably really hurt them"

Tears slipped out of her eyes as Katara and Meiluna both scooted over giving her a warm hug.

"What are we gonna do?" Katara asked hopelessly.

"I don't know. I wish we had some earth or water. We need bendables" Toph shrugged.

"What about your meteor bracelet? You can make a saw" Katara spoke up.

"I left it back at camp. I was worried they would take it"

All of a sudden Katara stood up and started running on the spot.

Meiluna looked at her questioningly.

"Um, Katara? Are you ok?" Toph asked slowly.

"Just fine" She replied simply.

"Well, what are you doing?" Meiluna asked.

"I'm making my own water"

Katara stopped running before wiping her forehead with the back of her hand to use her sweat, creating a water blade to cut through the cage.

"Katara! You're a genius! A sweaty stinky genius!" Toph exclaimed.

"Aang, get up!" Katara ran up to help the Avatar.

All of a sudden, the ice that encased the assassins head broke open as he launched another blast at everyone.

Toph immediately launched a boulder up, blocking the explosion, giving enough time for Team Avatar to make a quick getaway.

"Hey, I got it!" Sokka exclaimed while he ran, "The perfect name for that guy: Combustion Man!"

"Good job Sokka. Now let's get outta here before combustion man catches us" Toph reminded.

Meiluna gasped excitedly looking to Sokka, hitting his shoulder lightly,

"It fits so well!"
