all of a sudden a powerful gust of wind conjured by Appa's tail, swept the two girls off their feet, making them land several yards away in the water.

Sokka looked at the bison in relief,

"Thanks Appa, I don't know what we'd do without you"

The trio had managed to locate where Aang was when Meiluna saw Princess Azula with her hand held out aiming at the Avatar. She instantly used her waterbending to create a shot of ice and sent it to her hand to guide it off course, causing her strike to miss.

At the same time, Katara bended a stream of water to slice the wood planks that were trapping Aang.

"Katara! Meiluna!" Aang called out happily.

Azula turned around and sent a blast of fire straight at Meiluna who brought her hands up and extinguished the flame just in time. She felt the heat of Azula's blue flames envelop her body, almost making her feel suffocated.

The Fire Nation Princess ran after Meiluna as she fled the scene. Sokka noticed Princess Azula and continued to chase after her eventually leaving her cornered by Team Avatar.

Aang ran straight toward Azula who sent a fire blast at him. Meiluna reacted quickly, sending a shield of ice in front of him to put out the flame before it could touch the Avatar.

Azula stood poised for attack when the ground shifted beneath her feet, toppling her over.

"I thought you guys could use a little help" Toph appeared.

"You came back!" Meiluna smiled.

"Thanks" Katara replied gratefully.

Azula rose to her feet and started to run away, trying to escape when Iroh had instantly intervened and blocked her path, knocking her off of her feet.

Aang, Katara, Sokka, Meiluna, Iroh and Zuko all surrounded Azula against the ruins of a stone wall.

"Well, look at this. Enemies and traitors, all working together. I'm done," She raised her hands in surrender, "I know when I'm beaten. You got me. A Princess surrenders with honor"

Everyone remained on high alert, not trusting a single word Azula said.

She smirked before taking a step forward firing a powerful blast at Iroh, who cried out in pain as he fell to the ground.

Everyone fired at Azula, creating a small explosion that sent a thick cloud of smoke everywhere.

As the smoke cleared, burning embers fell from the sky, leaving Azula nowhere to be seen.

Meiluna turned and saw Prince Zuko kneeling beside Iroh. He briefly met her gaze before averting his eyes. Meiluna thought she had noticed the sight of tears threatening to spill from his eyes.

"Get away from us!" Zuko yelled.

"Zuko, we can help" Katara slowly approached them.

Prince Zuko blasted an arc of fire,

"Leave!"
