"Uh yeah thanks" Y/N says and Moon could tell by his mood and demeanor that he was nervous
"Your nervous aren't you?" Moon asked and Y/N didn't even look at her but nodded and she placed her hand on top of his
"You're going to be amazing, babe,' Moon said, squeezing Y/N's hand
"I don't know, Moon" Y/N mumbled, fiddling with the hem of his shirt.
"What if I mess up? What if I look like a total idiot? Is this out only shot to stop cobra Kai and what I can't do it?" Y/N said looking at his girlfriend
"You won't fail Y/N I know of you won't" Moon said, giving him a reassuring smile.
"You've been practicing non stop for a long while now You're strong, you're fast, and you've got the moves down pat" Moon tells her boyfriend
"Yeah, but..." Y/N trailed off, his voice cracking with anxiety a feeling Y/N hadn't felt in a long time not even during both all valle's
'It's different this time Moon it's not just a Valley tournament it's against the entire world....What if I freeze up? What if I'm not good enough?" He asked
Moon leaned in and kissed his cheek.
"You won't freeze You're going to walk into that dojo with your head held high, show them what you've got, and nail that tryout And even if you make a mistake, it doesn't matter. You've got this, babe." Moon reassures her boyfriend who gave her a smile
Y/N took a deep breath. "You really think so?" He asked his smiling girlfriend
Moon nodded, her eyes sparkling.
"I know so. You're going to amaze them and if you ever need me, I'll be there every step of the way" Moon says with a genuine smile
"You're the best, Moon" Y/N said, a small smile spreading across his face.
"Thanks for believing in me and always staying by my side" Y/N says
"Always" Moon said, giving him another squeeze.
"Now, you need to go get some rest for tomorrow You need all the energy you can get" Moon says kissing his lips
Y/N nodded, his anxiety fading slightly. He knew he was still nervous, but with Moon's unwavering support, he felt a glimmer of confidence starting to ignite within him, and he was going to be amazing

The Next Day Cobra Kai Dojo
Miyagi Fang arrived at the Cobra Kai Dojo the next day and some of the students looked in awe at the Dojo
"Look at this place" Alex said in awe
"Yeah to bad it's owned by a criminal"

"Whoa. It's like a Cobra starship" Bert Says
They even got a smoothie bar. No fair!" Mitch says as he looked over at the smoothie bar and saw some girls who he winked at but was pulled away by my Bert.
Y/N was warming up on his side of the dojo he looked up to see Tory the two only looked at each other but Y/N gave her a nod to which she did back, the two of them where friends but they couldn't show it out in the Open especially in front of Sliver and Kim that's when she glanced over at Robby who was talking to Anthony she wanted to talk to him as well but she knew she couldn't
"Nichols Come here" Kim called Tory over to her
"You beat the LaRusso girl before Make this fight quick" Kim tells Tory who hesitantly nodded and glanced over at Sam who glanced back.
Kenny himself was warming up when he looked at his opponent who was Y/N but instead brushing Kenny off Y/N simply nodded to Kenny in acknowledgement and respect which actually surprised Kenny but what drew Kenny's attention was seeing Robby showing Anthony some moves
"Keene!" Kenny yells walking over to Robby
"That's some messed up shit You training the kid who bullied me" Kenny said in anger
"Heard you're doing the bullying now" Robby shot back to the younger teen
"He deserves everything that comes to him" Kenny says his anger slowly rising
"Don't think you believe that look I know how things can start from nothing and get bigger and bigger until all you feel is hate I've been there" Robby says looking at both Y/N and Miguel who nodded
"But I'm telling you, it is so much better to let that hate go You and Anthony might actually get along if you got to know each other" Robby tries to reason with Kenny who Kenny wasn't willing to listen
"Yeah, right He made my life a living hell.
He's the reason I came to you in the first place You know what? You're lucky you're not on the mat today Guess Y/N will have to do" Kenny says before walking away and Y/N walked over to Robby
"Don't worry man I'll handle him" Y/N says patting Robby's back
"Don't go too hard on him You remember what it's like to be in Cobra Kai. It's not Kenny talking It's Silver" Robby requested and Y/N looked at sliver then back to Robby
"Yeah but no promise" Y/N tells him friend who nods understandingly and Y/N glaced over to the cobra Kai side and to his shock he saw Devon who was now in a cobra Kai gi
"The hell?" Y/N did care as he walked over to Devon
"Devon what the hell are you doing in cobra Kai?"
"Look Y/N I know you wouldn't understand......I'm sorry for not telling you or anyone else for that matter but ever since I've been here I've grown stronger then I've ever been" Devon said and Y/N could see it in her eyes that's she's slowly being corrupted
"devon listen to me okay I'm telling you, , this place is bad news Trust me you don't want to be a part of this any of this" Y/N says trying to reason with her
Devon sighed, adjusting her gi. 'It's not bad news, Y/N. It's just... different. It's not the kind of place you're used to" Devon Says making Y/M scoff
"Different? More like a breeding ground for trouble. You've seen what they do, the way they train. It's all about brute force, no respect for anyone." Y/N tells her
"That's not true! Both Sensei sliver and Kim are sensei's He teaches discipline, respect-" Devon started but was cut off
"They teach violence. They push you to your limits, to ignore pain and fear. That's not discipline, it's dangerous and the last thing I ever was is for you to get hurt"
Y/N says and Devon was surprised by his words and even blushed but she didn't let his words convince her
Devon's eyes narrowed.
"You don't understand. It's about pushing your boundaries, finding your strength. It's about becoming more than you thought possible" Devon said
"Look at how your talking Devon...It's about losing yourself, Devon. You're becoming colder, more distant. You're not the same girl I once knew" Y/N said sadly
"That's not true. I'm just stronger now, more confident. I'm finally learning to what true strength is" Devon says standing her ground against Y/N
"You're fighting the wrong battles, Devon There's a better way. You don't need to prove yourself through violence you are a great person and you don't need cobra Kai to prove that you are one of the best" Y/N says
Devon stood, her face set.
"I don't need your pity, Y/N. I'm making my own choices. And this is my choice." Devon says her eyes narrowed
Y/N placed his hand on her shoulder, his voice soft.
"Devon, please, just talk to me. Let's find a better way, a way that doesn't put you in danger." Y/N pleaded but he could tell Devon's mind was made up
Devon removed his hand, her eyes filled with a flicker of pain.
"I'm not in danger, Y/N I'm stronger now. And I'm not leaving." Devon says firmly
Y/N stood there, watching her walk away, He knew he couldn't force her to leave, but he couldn't stand by and watch her fall into the darkness that was consuming her much like Miguel, hawk, Robby, Tory and even Kenny and Devon was on the same path Y/N knew He had to find a way to save her, even if it meant facing the danger he so desperately wanted to keep her away from.

"Thank you, Sensei Silver, for offering
to host these matches in your dojo
"Offering or demanding?" Daniel commented
"We do have actual tournament regulation mats here, so it really was the only option" sliver says with a smug smirk
"We'll begin with the boys We have invited a local referee to ensure impartiality" Gunther introduced the ref who bowed to which everyone bowed back
"First to three points wins...Time to begin"
Y/N vs Kenny
"Y/N Barnes and Kenny Payne.....please take the mat" Gunther says as Y/N fist bumped both Robby and hawk as he got onto the Matt

"Face each other bow" they bow to each other
"Ready and Fight". Kenny instantly went of the offensive attacking Y/N with a Spartan kick but Y/N casually dodged out of the way avoiding the kick Kenny quickly turned and threw two punches at Y/N who blocked both attacks but Y/N holding back And letting his guard down Kenny managed to land a kick on Y/N's side getting a point.
"Point Payne". Says the ref as the cobra Kai side cheered for Kenny who had a smirk on his face, Y/N turned to look at Robby had a conflicted look on his face but he nodded at Y/N basically telling
Y/N to no longer hold back.
"Ready and Fight" once again Kenny was about to strike first but to his surprise Y/N struck quicker throwing at kick at Kenny's face who was quick enough to Dodge the attack but Y/N followed up with a spin kick hitting Kenny in the stomach making Kenny fall to the ground holding his stomach
"Point Barnes". The ref said as miyagi Fang cheered for Y/N, the ref looked over at silver who gave the ref a menacing look.
"Alright score is 1-1 fighting positions and fight"
Kenny threw two kicks at Y/N who blocked his attacks, Y/N threw his own kicks Which Kenny blocked and Kenny went for another kick but Y/N blocked it in the process hitting the back of Kenny's leg making him stumble back in pain and Y/N kicked Kenny in the face with a spin kick.
"Out of bounds no point". Says the Ref surprising Y/N and everyone else
"What are you, you were clearly an inbounds are you blind". Y/N yelled at the Ref
"Come on ref, that's horseshit, he made contact inbounds!" Johnny yells at the Ref who glares at the Sensei
"I said no point now back on the line". The now irritated ref says, glances at silver who smirked and nods in approval but what they didn't notice was Tory seeing the exchange and she knew that once again silver paid off the Ref.
"Ready and Fight". Kenny goes for a spin kick trying to kick Y/N in the face but
Y/N instead of dodging he goes low and sweeps Kenny's leg tripping Kenny and before Kenny could get back up Y/N lifted up his foot bringing his heal down onto Kenny's stomach, the ref looked at Y/N then at silver conflicted on what to say
"Point Barnes" the ref ultimately says Kenny slams his fist into the ground in frustration Kenny looked at his Sensei who gives Kenny a smug look and nods Kenny smirks back at his Sensei knowing what he has to do Tory once again noticed this and became worried for her friend.
"Alright score is 2-1" Y/N was in fighting stance when he saw Kenny get into a weird stance
"Ready and Fight" Y/N striking first this time goes for a hit on Kenny but Kenny goes for his own strike Y/N seeing the attack coming canceled his own strike trying to block Kenny's attack but Y/N not being quick enough was stuck in the chest masking him fall down to the ground holding his chest in pain.
"Point 2-2 Payne". Says the Ref as Y/N was holding his chest in pain everyone on miyagi fangs side became concerned as both Daniel and Johnny ran up to Y/N holding onto him
"Y/N you okay what's wrong?" Asked Johnny
"I-i c-can't b-breath" he says out of breath. Tory was off to the side as the other Cobra Kai students laughed and smirked at Y/N. Tory was in complete concern for her friend; it hurt her inside that she couldn't see if he was okay herself.
"Can you continue?" Asked the Ref and to the surprise Y/N settled his breathing and slowly gets up and looks at silver who had a not so happy look his face then Y/N turned his attention to Kenny with a now more determinated look on his face
"Y/N are you okay?" Sam a worried Sam
"Yeah don't worry I'm fine Sam"
"Y/N are you sure you can do this Y/N?"
"Yeah don't worry Mr Larusso I got this" Y/N says looking at Chozen who knew exactly what Y/N was about to do and he nodded in approval
"Alright back to the Matt" the ref said as both Y/N and Kenny got back onto the Matt
"Fighting positions" the ref said and once again Kenny got into that stance but to Kenny's surprise Y/N got into his own stance
Everyone in miyagi Fang recognized the stance especially Johnny and Daniel
"Wait that's the?" Daniel said in shock
"and fight". Yells the ref as Kenny goes into hit Y/N but to Kenny's shock Y/N blocked the hit and hits under his arm
Kenny's arm goes completely numb and he couldn't move it at all and before Kenny could react He was soon flipped onto his back and stuck Kenny in the chest getting the last point and winning the match
"Point Barnes winner". The Ref says lifting up Y/N's hand as miyagi Fang cheered and gathered around Y/N high fiving and hugging Y/N, but Y/N looked across the dojo making eye contact with Tory who had a proud smile and slightly nods at Y/N to which Y/N nodded back at her

The next Match
"We begin our girls' fight Samantha LaRusso and Tory Nichols, please take the mat" Gunther says but Tory never entered the mat confusing everyone
"Where is she?" Kim Asked
"I don't know. I mean, she was just here" Devon answered
"What do you mean you don't know?
What happened to Nichols" sliver asked but no one knew

"Sam Hey. They're fighting dirty.
This is dangerous You don't have to do this" Daniel says to his daughter who shook her Head
"I know. But I can handle it This is for all of us" Sam says bow to her dad who bowed back
"Tory Nichols?" Gunther called her name again
"Tory's not here. Something happened" Robby says to Y/N who nodded
"Yeah hope he's okay" Y/N says back

Back to cobra Kai
"She's not out there We need a female fighter" sliver Says and Kim looked over at Devon
"We have one" Kim Says and sliver followed her eyes as he saw she was talking about Devon
"I'll let him know" sliver says going over to the judge's
"Miss Lee" Kim called over Devon
"Yes, Sensei" Devon says coming over to her Sensei
"Are you ready?" Kim Asked the Young teen who was confused
"Ready to?" Devon questions but then she realized what her Sensei was saying
"You want me to fight Sam LaRusso?" Devon asked
"No I want you to defeat her Or are you too afraid?" Kim says narrowing her eyes making Devon a little nervous by her stare
"No, Sensei" Devon says confidently
"Then show me" Kim tells her as Devon nodded and got onto the mat confusing Sam on where Tory was
Sam VS Devon
"Face me. Bow" they face the ref and bow
"Face each other. Bow" they face each other and bow
"Ready? Fight!" The ref says
Devon struck fight throwing two punches at Sam but Sam dodged both attacks and then Devon tried to follow up with a kick but Sam dodged to the side and the two blocks each of the others attack until sam saw an opening and goes a heel kick to Devon's side
"No point. That's shoulder. No point" the ref said surprising everyone
"What?" Both Miguel and Y/N questions the ref bad call
"The hell is this ref on?" Y/N questions
*Keep fighting" the ref said as he looked at sliver who nodded
"It's okay." Miguel says to reassure sam
This time Sam attacks first throwing a kick at Devon who dodged the kick then Devon attacked Sam witw two kicks one high and one
