cackle. The pale ginger hair that had consumed Harry seemed to simply flake away as it lost all attachment to his head.

Kala smiled. "It worked! Now all we have to do is scare me, (Y/n) and Gummy!"

Gummy snuck the needle and another vermilion balloon into the tangled locks beside Kala, prepared the repeat his successful trick.

However, Kala noticed, sending an irritated expression towards him.

"Don't... even... think it!"

Suddenly, Harry turned his head to peep in on the action behind, his flaking skin now more noticeable as he no longer had the hair to draw the attention away.

Underneath the darkness of the clear night sky, Harry appeared almost terrifying, sending shivers down his friends' spines and petrified screams out of their mouths.

The remained entanglement of strands seemed to vanish, becoming only a couple locks spread across the ground as it detached from the heads of Gummy, Kala and (Y/n).

The four of them softly landed on the ground, realisation soon entering their shaken thoughts.

Kala hyperventilated for a few seconds, before understanding the successful result.

"It worked! How cool is that!?" She cried, amazed.

"Awww! I wanted to see the world engulfed in hair!" Gummy frowned, earning a chuckle from his girlfriend.

"Need moisturiser!" Harry suddenly cried, noticing the increased amount of crumbling scales covering his arms.

Kala and (Y/n) desperately examined their fur, disgusted expressions across their faces.

"Me too!"

"Ew! This is awful!"

"Granny will have the answer!" Harry screamed, running with extreme speed back towards the vivid apartment's entrance, Kala and (Y/n) soon following.

However, Gummy remained in the centre of the tangled locks that hadn't disintegrated, a disappointed frown crossing his face.

"My hair! My beautiful hair!" He cried in dispair, rubbing the palm of his hands across his now completely bald head.

"Why!? It was too young to fall!" He continued, collapsing to his knees in pure sorrow.

(Y/n) heard her boyfriend crying out behind her, tempting her to stop and turn around. She popped back out from the staircase leading back into the building, giggling a little at Gummy's silly but adorable behaviour.

She headed back towards the podium, where Gummy was now scooping up the last few bundles of hair from the lavender carpet.

"Curses, gummy pattern baldness! Curses!" He cried, his disheartened gaze staring into the mysterious, quiet night sky above.

Gummy then noticed (Y/n) stood by the edge of the podium, looking down at him while appearing almost entertained.

His gaze then became fixated onto his girlfriend, before a cheeky chuckle escaped him.

"I've always wanted to say that too!"

(Y/n) giggled before Gummy sent her a cute little wink as he released the remaining hair from his grasp. She reached out a hand to raise him to his feet, their fingers intertwining as they headed back down the staircase into the florescent building they called home. (Y/n) rested her head against Gummy's shoulder.

"You know, you look just as cute without hair..." She muttered, earning a beaming smile from her boyfriend as she gently placed his head on top of hers, admiring the stars that decorated the midnight sky.
