Chase walked into the room, knocking lightly on the wall. "Hey."

Freya looked and smiled softly.  "Hi."

Juliet was asleep in her capsule and Cassie was sleeping too. Freya wasn't comfortable sleeping because her capsule was still soaked from the water.

Chase sat next to Freya and saw a picture of him and Freya on their date at the planetarium.

"Don't you look beautiful," Chase smiled and Freya grinned. "Why are you up still?"

"I couldn't sleep. My capsule isn't dry yet," Freya said and the couple turned to the capsule that had water dripping from it.

"I wouldn't want to sleep in that either," Chase remarked and he held her hand, rubbing his thumb on her hand. "You okay?"

Freya nodded, letting out an exhale. "Yes. Just another attack that I survived. Seems to be a reoccurring pattern, huh? The third time I almost died."

"Don't remind me," Chase mumbled and leaned his head on her shoulder. "Everything we've been through, you would think I could have protected you better."

"Not your fault I'm related to a bionic madman who hates me," Freya told him. "But, he's gone. Sebastian is gone. You think finally something good will happen?"

"Something good did happen."

"What?"

Chase lifted his head and his hazel eyes met her blue ones. "You. I met you and that was the best thing that ever happened."

Freya smiled softly, blushing. "You are the best thing that's ever been mine, Chase."

"And you are the best thing that's ever been mine, Freya." Chase remarked and brought her in for a kiss.
