"SEE?! THE ONLY THING YOU KNOW HOW TO DO IS VIOLENCE!"

"let it poof some more."

once again, senshi the bread maker breaks off a fight with his doughs, and the two cooled off a bit on their own corners, while the orc baby tried to snatch one dough out of curiosity, but was stopped by senshi.

after a while, they finally started cooking the bread and with a little bit of waiting, it was finally ready to eat.

"it smells so good!"

"let's slice it up and everyone can have a taste of their own."

"hold it! that bread belongs to my tribe, and we're not giving you any."

the chief stops them before they could even touch the bread, and marcille stares at him with a sour expression.

"what?!"

"you said you wanted to make bread so we let you do it, but we decide what to do with it."

both marcille and the chief growled at each other, but their banter was out to an end as the orc baby tugged on his father's hand.

"daddy? we made it all together, so why can't we also eat it all together?"

marcille's gaze softened, and she looks up in thought before crouching down in front of the child with a smile.

"it's not a proper meal if you only have bread. main dish, side dish, and veggies, you need all of those to have a balanced meal. your daddy here, he just wanted to wait until the other dishes are ready!"

"hold your tongue, elf!"

"she's right. your pop said we could stay with your family if we let him have our vegetables."

senshi joins in, and the chief glares at him in annoyance.

"huh?!

"and your daddy's an orc who always keeps his word."

the dwarf looks away innocently, avoiding the chief's gaze.

soon enough, he sighed and gave up, gesturing to the other orcs.

"hey! get them whatever they need."

once the food was ready with the help of orcs in the preparation, everyone sat around the carpet on the floor, gathered around the meal.

"eat up!"

marcille took her first bite of her food, and she brightened up.

"woah, it's so good! ah, and spicy! it tastes the same as the one senshi made before, but it's better!"

she then turns to the chief with a small grin on her face.

"before, i said that orcs are only good at stealing, but it turns out you guys are also quite great cooks."

"...shut your hole."

marcille only laughed, munching on her food.

"uhm, so..."

the chief's attention switched to laios, who was already looking at him with a curious gaze.

"earlier, you asked why i wanted to get to the bottom of the dungeon. to answer your question..."

laios glanced at [name] who was peacefully watching them from where she was tied up, surrounded by curious orcs.

"our friend, [name] over there, has been turned to a monster and we have no clue how to turn her back to normal. we have to find the mad mage, and hope for the best. and my sister... she was eaten by a red dragon. and we're just trying to find it."

the chief's expression didn't change as he listens to laios.

"but if you can tell us where you saw it, we csn go find it and kill it. we won't go near the village or tell anyone about it."

there was a certain glint in the young man's eyes, and the chief could see it.  he was genuine, and determined.

"i swear."

"hmm... hey, get me that map."

laios lets out a breath in relief as the chief finally decided to give in, now holding a map in his hand.

"we saw it two floors down from here, near the living quarters on the west side."

"thanks a lot."

laios grins, and the chief handed him the map.

"from now on, i promise i'll think hard about what to do if i end up ruling the castle."

the chief scoffed, shaking his head.

"ha! to think a guy who was caught by orcs and forced to make bread could ever be a king of anything."

"huh?"

he then raised his liquor with a gruff;

"well, goodluck to you."

as the group ate and chattered amongst themselves, laios didn't forget to pay his favourite monster a visit.

"[name]!"

laios grins, holding a plate of sandwich as he stood in front of [name] who was nuzzled against her eggs in the pouch.

she cracks one eye open, glancing at laios curiously.

"want some? i mean, this probably won't do much to fill you up, but it's good?"

he gulps, blushing like a teen boy in front of his crush. i mean, can you blame him? he's standing in front of his dream girl.

[name] yawns, picking up laios and holding him to her face.

"you gotta go 'ahh' for this."

"ahhh..."

laios almost passed out when she opened her mouth widely, her jaw even going as far as to unhinge as if she's eating something large in the first place.

"big...!"

"laios i swear to god, if you don't get down from there—"

"i'm just feeding her, chilchuck!"

—this could've been two chapter, but my stubborn ass wanted to write it all in one and ended up with 8k words worth of chapter. yes, this is normal for me, unfortunately.

also i need someone to draw laios and [name] with that "you look lonely, i can fix that" meme and have him absolutely fascinated by her monster form JWBXHWHDBWDAHHSHA

fun fact, i only made this fanfic bcs i have an obsession with incredibly large, gigantic pretty girls and have an even more unhealthy obsession with writing them. idk if that makes sense like— i just wanna see a giant girl who looks like a literal goddess interact with the ppl who likes her IDKKKKK (i think my obsession started with Te Fiti from moana and also Diane from seven deadly sins)

also notice how different dunmeshi is from other fantasy animes?? like yea there's a few fanservice and stuff (which was actually executed pretty well *ehem* falin *ehem*) but her world building is actually so good, the characters and their designs are so unique and diverse, there's so much representation and it doesn't even focus on tits and women being hypersexualised? ryoko kui, the woman that u are. i love u.

oh yeah i sketched meijack bcs i love her. i'll finish colouring her probably tomorrow lol (hoping to get more meijack appreciation 😞)
