"So, you had the book the whole time?!" Dean's voice was a thunderclap, shattering the tense silence. He glared at Sam, whose expression was as pitiful as a kicked puppy. "Dean..."

"...lied right to my face. Got my daughter to lie to me," Dean interrupted, his anger as fierce as a forest fire.

"I thought it was our only chance to get you free of the Mark, so I grabbed it," Sam argued, his voice pleading as he glanced at his brother.

Dean snapped his head towards Sam, eyes blazing. "I made it real clear how I felt. You ever consider that? My daughter could be dead because of you!"

"Dean, listen..." Sam tried to defend himself, but Dean's rage steamrolled over him. "And then you pulled Cas into it. And Jovi. And Charlie."

Sam turned to his brother, his mouth slightly agape, struggling for words. "Charlie loves you, Dean. We all love you."

Meanwhile, back at the motel, the bathroom door creaked open. One of the Stynes, a menacing figure with a cruel glint in his eye, stepped inside. Charlie stood ready, clutching a knife, her red hair like a halo of fire around her determined face. Behind the door, Jovi waited in the shadows, her breath shallow, prepared to strike.

"You're gonna give me what's mine. Mine and my family's," the Styne sneered, his voice a low growl as he advanced on Charlie.

"I don't fucking think so Goldilocks" Jovi said slamming the door backwards hitting the guy in the face hard making him stumble it gave Charlie an opening as she charged forward swinging her blade. Jovi rushed out spotting another guy who was much more built than the one who was fighting Charlie, he was about to enter the fight but well the girl wasn't about to let that happen. She raised her gun up at him pulling the trigger watching as multiple bullets entered the guys chest but he kept pushing forward barely flinching at the shots, Jovi then remembered the last time she fought a Styne β€” it took a hole magazine to kill a one, which was what she didn't have. The not so gentle giant approached her grabbing the gun and slinging it across the room, Jovi blinked letting out a nervous chuckle "Do you practice looking that mean, or is it just natural talent?" Jovi quipped, rolling her shoulders to loosen up while grabbing her trusty blade from her back pocket. The man's scowl deepened, swinging a meaty fist at her. Jovi ducked, using the momentum to spin and slash at his ribs. The blade barely nicked him, but it was enough to draw first blood.

"Nice try, Hulk. But you're a few shades too pale." Jovi taunted, flipping her dagger with a flourish. The man snarled, eyes burning with rage.

He charged again, and this time Jovi met him head-on. They clashed, her agility and precision against his brute force. Each strike and parry was accompanied by her relentless banter.

"Ever consider anger management?" she asked, blocking a heavy blow and retaliating with a swift kick to his knee. "I hear yoga's great for that."

The Styne roared, grabbing her by the arm and flinging her across the room. She crashed into the desk, the wood splintering under the impact. Jovi winced, blood seeping from a new wound on her forehead. She looked up at Charlie seeing her friend starting to lose the fight, her eyes widened in fear but the big lug in front of her wasn't going to let her pass so easy

She darted forward, feinting left and slicing right, her dagger cutting a deep gash across his thigh.

"Listen. This is fun and all" she said, landing a punch squarely on his jaw, "but you're in my way."

He responded with a powerful backhand, sending her sprawling. Jovi spat out a mouthful of blood, her laugh echoing in the cavernous space. "You hit like my grandma," she said, wiping her mouth. "And she's dead."

The man lunged, but Jovi was ready. She ducked low, sweeping his legs out from under him. As he hit the ground with a thunderous crash, she pounced, her dagger slicing through his throat. "Jovi go! Run!" Charlie's pain filled voice came demon behind her, the girl span around spotting her friend with blood seeping through her shirt. The monster in front of her still attacking, Jovi's heart broke "no! I'm not leaving you!" Eldon Styne knocked Charlie to the ground facing the girl who'd just taken down one of his cousins "you're gonna have to pay for that" he spoke gesturing to the fallen soldier, Jovi eyed the corpse carelessly rolling her head up to meeting the man's dull blue eyes with a shrug "an eye for and eye or...an arm for an arm or...whatever you freaks do"

The man leapt forward with angry growl throwing a punch at her face, Jovi ducked bringing her own fist up colliding with his jaw making sure she put a lot of power into it. She then took her opening thrusting her blade upwards but he caught her arm bringing it down on his knee making her cry out dropping the dagger, he caught it before thrusting it up piercing her hip. Jovi cried out feeling the familiar burning sensation through her abdomen she couldn't dwell on the pain as he then grabbed her throwing her over his shoulders so her back collided with the floor with a hard thud the man dropped her dagger approaching her. She winced but was quick to sit up as he threw another punch at her this time succeeding in hitting her cheekbone, he then threw another colliding with her nose. His hand gripped her neck tightly "you're a firecracker, I'll give you that. Don't worry, I'm going to leave you're mangled corpse here for you're daddy to find"

"You're a sick bastard" she gasped out as she spotted the red head who held her dagger in her hand "mmm, and you're a pain in the ass" he responded just as a very much bleeding Charlie brought the knife down to his heart, the man grunted in pain twisting around dropping Jovi who'd began to turn a little purple he then grabbed Charlie pulling the dagger from his back and thrusting it up into the girls stomach once more "no!" Jovi chocked out but her voice was more strained, the Styne barely looked at her before he chucked Charlie like a doll back into the bathroom

A wave of emotions mixed with power crashed over her as pure anger filled the girl, her eyes flared sapphire blue. She screamed and a wave of royal bkue energy shot out of her in wisps colliding with the Styne sending him through the wall knocking him out. Jovi panted heavily, dizziness washing over her. She had no idea what the hell just happened but who gave a fuck her friend needed her.

Despite the unbearable pain, Jovi dragged herself to the bathroom, her heart already fracturing with every step. She found Charlie, barely clinging to life, slumped in the tub, a crimson pool spreading around her like a tragic sea. Tears fell like a torrential rain, unchecked and unending, her breaths coming in jagged gasps. "No, no, no, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," Jovi sobbed, clutching Charlie's hand as if it could anchor her to life.

Charlie shook her head weakly, trying to muster a reassuring smile despite the agony etched on her face. "It's okay, please don't blame yourself," she whispered, each word a struggle, her breath uneven and shallow. Jovi's tears flowed harder, the weight of her guilt pressing down like an anvil on her chest. "Jovi, do me a favor and keep that promise, okay?"

Jovi nodded, her vision blurred by tears, the promise a fragile thread binding her to the moment. "I will, I promise," she choked out, the words trembling in the air.

"Look after your dad and Sam too, okay? You're so special, Jov, and you don't even realize it. Don't ever... change," Charlie murmured, her voice growing weaker. She coughed, blood splattering her lips, her eyes filled with a sorrowful acceptance. "I love you, bitch," she said with a faint, broken smile, squeezing Jovi's hand with the last of her strength.

"I love you too, bitch," Jovi replied, her voice cracking, squeezing back as if she could transfer some of her own life force to her friend. But then Charlie's skin turned ashen, her chest stilled, and her head lolled to the side, the light leaving her eyes.

Jovi's heart shattered, a raw, agonizing pain ripping through her. All the torment and suffering she had endured in her life paled in comparison to this moment. Her chest tightened to the point of suffocation, her sobs and screams blending into a cacophony of heartbreak. She felt her body shutting down, the dizziness and exhaustion overwhelming her senses. Her head spun, her vision darkened, and finally, the world faded away, leaving her in the abyss of her grief.

Sam and Dean pulled up to the motel, the Impala skidding to a halt in a cloud of dust. They burst out of the car, hearts pounding like war drums, fear clawing at their throats. Dean's mind was a storm of dreadβ€”losing Charlie and Jovi in one cruel stroke was unimaginable. Charlie had become a steadfast ally, proving her worth case after case until she became family. But Jovi? Jovi was his daughter, his baby girl, his lifeblood. The mere thought of her being gone tore at his very soul, leaving him adrift in a sea of grief. He had always been there to save her, to snatch her from the jaws of death, but now, now he felt the unbearable weight of helplessness.

They crashed through the motel room door, the scene inside a chaotic tableau of violence. Glass shards glinted like sinister stars, splinters of wood lay scattered, and bloodβ€”so much bloodβ€”stained everything. The beds had been upended, a gaping hole marred the wall, but Dean's eyes locked onto the familiar sight of Jovi's gun lying discarded on the floor.

He picked it up, the cold metal a painful reminder of her peril. Sam moved towards the bathroom, his gasp a dagger to Dean's heart. "Oh God," Sam choked out, his hand covering his mouth, frozen in horror.

Dean rushed over, his breath hitching as he saw Charlie, lifeless in the bathtub, bathed in her own blood. Beside her lay Jovi, battered and broken. Blood seeped from her forehead, her nose, her stomach. A gash marred her cheekbone, a bruise darkened her neck, and tears stained her unconscious face.

"Jovi, Charlie!" Dean's voice cracked as he scooped Jovi into his arms, her body limp against him. He pressed his fingers to her neck, a desperate prayer echoing in his mindβ€”please, please, please be alive. Relief washed over him when he found her pulse, faint but there. "Thank God," he breathed, tears streaming down his face as he cradled her.

"Dean, her hip," Sam pointed out, his voice trembling as he saw the blood soaking her side. He moved to help, but Dean snapped, "Don't. Just fucking don't."

Sam stepped back, his jaw clenched, guilt and sorrow etched into his features. Dean lifted the hem of Jovi's shirt, revealing the stab wound. He cursed under his breath, the urgency of their situation crystal clear. "We need to get her back to the bunker. Now."

RIP Charlie, you will be missed 🫢🏻πŸ˜ͺ
Also I saw Deadpool & Wolverine and it was fucking amazing - saved Marvel fr. Felt inspired by deadpools humour when he's fighting or in a bad situation and decided to add some of it into Jovi character also I feel like it gives her an early seasons Dean vibe...idk but it was fun to write.
