As usual, I, who has been in my room most of the day after getting a tour of almost the whole school from the charming, prince Aryan, was laying down in silence. No roommate in the room, and no people around to annoy me.
For the past hour, I'd been deep in thought about how we're going to complete this mission without knowing where the specific Wand was.
And also my unmentioned parents.
But also my AK roommate, Lonnie. Who went out with her friends, and is a little late.
The daughter of Mulan was brave to say so. That kind of person who does before thinking. And not to mention pretty. She takes after her mother. But with ear-short hair, rather than the long hair her mother had.
And I also never expected Auradon to be this comfortable. I have always admired this place without even knowing how it must've been. At first glance, I would rather have lived here than over at The Isle. But The Isle was my home, a place where I already have learned to live. To survive.
Why didn't the prince do this earlier? I thought, my brows knitting closer. We would never leave this place, if Maleficent wasn't trying to steal the Wand.
"Hey, Sam?" A voice, which was very familiar to me, called out from the other side of my dorm door. "You in there?"
I opened the door and was met with the girls' gaze. "Hey, what's up?"
"We're going to meet with the boys, let's go." Evie, who had her bright red chest-like purse crossed from her left shoulder to her waist, told me.
"Okay, uh, wait up." I grabbed my jacket and walked out, following the two to the boys' dorm.
I can't have some relaxation, can I?
I put on the mixed coloured leather jacket as we continued the speed walk to his and his dorm.
The walk to their dorm wasn't that long, though it just made it better.
The boys' room had everything. Well, not really. They have games though, ones that were currently occupied by a certain De Vil.
"Well, I'd rather stay here than my room." I said crossing her legs as I sat on the table in the middle of their room, watching as the boy play a specific game.
Is that the same little boy I knew a couple years ago? I thought, remembering the time we met, in an alleyway behind our school. He's happier.
My lips almost curved into a full-on smile. Almost.
"Die suckers!" He yelled to game, then he proceeded to look at Jay, who was already nearing him. "Jay, come check this thing out. Man, it's awesome."
"Guys," Mal, who was standing close behind, suddenly called. "Do I have to remind you what we're here for?"
"Fairy godmother, blah, blah, blah." Jay, who won't even spare a glance to her while playing the game, couldn't care less. "Magic Wand, blah, blah, blah."
"It's really that easy, Mal." I shrugged, I wouldn't really team up to do this with them, would I?
"This is our one chance, " She paused and looked up from the table. "to prove ourselves to our parents."
Everyone stopped to look at her, though I looked at her with a quizzical look, the others looked at her like she has three heads.
I didn't need to read her mind to see what's in that evil and malicious brain of hers.
I don't have parents, not my real ones at least. I thought, though never brought it up for my own sake.
"To prove that we're evil, and vicious, and ruthless and cruel." She had a stern look on her face, "Yeah?"
"Yeah." We all agreed.
"Evie, mirror me."
Soon enough, we were all circling around Evie and her handmirror.
"Mirror, mirror onโดin my hand, where is Fairy godmother's wand... stand."
"There it is."
"Zoom out."
"Magic mirror, not so close." Evie whispered to the mirror, oddly too close. "Closer... Closer... Closer."
I propped her arms to support my sitting position, and watched as Evie hold the Mirror close.
"Can I go back to my game. I'm on level three."
"Stop."
"It's in a muzeum. Do we know where that is?" Mal spoke, asking us if they are to know where that specific wand was.
Carlos typed on his laptop, and turned the screen to us. "2.3 miles from here."
Mal creaked open the door "Come on." and she whispered, careful not to wake anyone out of their respectful beds.
I slipped on my crimson red, gold and black leather jacket and rushed to follow after the others, but slowly jogged backwards after that.
"Oscar, come on." I called out to him, as soon as I realized that Carlos was on the way getting back to his game.

I was clutching my books, ignoring most of the stares from the other AKs enrolled there. Still on my way to my locker which was closer to Mal's than I expected.
Of course, until I saw him.
Just perfect. I thought, adjusting my bag a bit and proceeded to my locker, like I never saw him there.
The brown haired boy, looked at me with his bright brown eyes and leaned on his locker, his left shoulder leaning against his locker. "Hey."
"What's up?" I bluntly reponded, even though I was trying to sound interested. I wasn't really up for it, was I?
I shut my locker door and hung my bag on my right shoulder, the shoulder which was facing the locker.
His brown eyes glimmered with a questioning look I can't put my finger on. Maybe anticipation of some sort? Though they did seem to have somewhat gold-ish sparkle in them.
"Don't you have tourney practice?"
"I do, yes." He said, not wasting a moment after I spoke. But other than that, he said it like... he was too lazy to go.
"Then, go. Coach's probably waiting for you."
"I'm not the best player, you know."
"And that's why you practice." I remarked, my tone hinting in slight sarcasm. I patted his shoulder and turned around on my heels, getting farther away so he couldn't catch me on time.
"Sam!" He called, catching up close behind me.
I mentally groan in annoyance but, I gave up to run, and turn around to face him and his gorgeous honey brown eyes...
Wait what?!
"What, Aryan?"
"Just... nothing, yeah, yeah." He shook his head, smiling to himself and laughing softly. "I'll talk to you later." He looked down to me and turned to go to the field.
"Yeah, see you..?"
We went our separate ways, I went to me and Lonnie's dorm, changed and met with the girls.
But, nonetheless, the 'talk' with Aryan earlier had been replaying in my mind for a couple times between the hour I was with Mal and Evie.
That's unbelievable, Sam. No way... right?
"Earth to Samantha?" Mal snapped her finger in front of me, getting my attention and also getting me out of my deep thoughts.
"Yeah, I'm here."
"What has gotten you like that?"
"Well, I was... just thinking."
"About what?.. or shall I say, who?" Evie turned her head from her reflection to me, guessing half correctly.
"I'm asking you the same question, E." I countered, raising my eyebrows. "I can see the way you look at him."
"Oh, hush."
"Who?" Mal asked, her brows drawing closer together and her eyes were wanting to know more.
"Chad Charming."
And boom, the door slammed opened, revealing Jane... and her somehow new hair.
