before they could do anything, they were startled by a loud clattering sound from the living room.

"Oi, what you doing?" Aaron shouted, directing his anger at Naveed who had managed to knock over one of the speaker's on his way to the armchair. Aaron made his way over to the drunken boy, pulling him up from the armchair with a glare. "You're making a nuisance of yourself."

"Fucks sake." Mollie muttered as she took in the scene, Riz and Cory following behind her with similar expressions.

"Whoa, whoa, right you're out!" Missy said, coming between her boyfriend and the drunken Naveed before anything kicked off. "Riz, Cory, get him out now!"

The two boys wasted no time in grabbing Naveed, while Mollie quickly grabbed an unused cup and weaved through the bodies in the room to the tap to fill it with water. Once she'd finished and made it outside, she found Naveed crouched over the bin while Riz and Cory stood behind him with grimaces on their faces.

"Leave him be, would ya? Like you haven't been like that before." She muttered coldly to the group of teenagers watching on in laughter, some who were even filming the whole scene to post it all over their stories. Pushing through them, Mollie reached Naveed just as he finished throwing up and she held out the cup to him. "Here."

"I'll take him home." Cory stepped back to speak to Mollie and Riz. "Make sure he gets home safe, get him something to eat, sober him up."

"Home? He can't possibly go back to his parents in this state." Riz said.

"They aren't home. Something about having a massive argument, so they went to his nan's house for the weekend to get away." Cory explained lowly so that the teenagers around them wouldn't hear, a genuine and caring look in his eyes. "I'll make sure he's okay, honest."

"Alright." Riz muttered with a firm nod, before Cory stepped away to help Naveed and take him back.

"Fucking hell." Mollie let out a heavy sigh as she looked back up at Riz with incredulation at the way in which the night had took a turn. But, with a determination to finish the night on a good note, she smiled at him hopefully and held out her hand. "Anyway, how about that dance?"

"𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐘 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋, 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐀 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓."

"Can say that again." Mollie chuckled, a shiver running down her spine as she clutched her arms in her hands to bring warmth. "Fuckin' hell, it's cold out here. Thought it was meant to be spring."

"Here." Riz said softly, shrugging off his black denim jacket and sweeping it over Mollie's shoulders.

"No, Riz, you don't have to-" Mollie protested, but Riz simply shook his head.

"S'alright, honestly Mol. I'll survive without it." He reassured the girl who was only wearing a dress, whereas he at least had a long sleeve shirt on. Lowering his voice, he smirked slightly. "Looks way hotter on you, anyway."

Mollie couldn't stop herself from blushing at his compliment, and the tone of voice that he used, something about it driving her crazy.

The rest of the walk home passed by quickly as the two talked about everything and nothing, just generally enjoying each other's company as they sobered up and strolled through the night.

When they got back to the Wilson house, they both slumped back on the sofa, which seemed like the comfiest thing in the world after their walk home.

"I got you one more thing, actually." Riz said after a moment, a slight nervousness in his tone.

As Mollie lifted her head from his shoulder in surprise, he reached his hand into his pocket and pulled out a small navy blue box.

Taken aback, Mollie's eyes widened as she slowly took the box from him and opened it up. Her eyes lit up as she spotted a silver bracelet with small silver hearts patterned around it, which sparkled in the low light of the room. She took it out delicately and brought it closer to her eyes to see it.

Riz bit down on his lip, uncertain of what her silent reaction meant.

"I've never picked out jewellry before, so if you don't like it-"

"No, no I love it." Mollie shook her head, a sheepish smile lighting up her face as she met his eyes. "Its beautiful. Thank you."

Riz breathed out a sigh of relief, the corners of his lips twitching upwards into a smile. "Good, I'm glad you like it. Although it doesn't quite have the same deep sentiment as the other presents. The hearts are just because, well, I'm sure you can guess."

"It's all they had left in the shop?" Mollie asked, a teasing smile on her face as she wanted him to say it.

"Want me to spell it out to you, huh?" Riz rolled his eyes playfully, but deep down he didn't have a problem with saying those three words. "It's 'cause I love ya, you weirdo."

"Well thats enough for me, Riz. Your love will always be enough for me." Mollie said with sincerity.

"And I'm counting that as one of my biggest life acheievements." Riz smirked, before holding his hand out towards the bracelet. "Here, let me put it on you."

Mollie held out her hand, allowing Riz to slip the bracelet onto her wrist before closing the clasp. Once it was on, Mollie looked at it once again and broke out into an even bigger smile.

"Thank you. Not just for this, but for the whole day. Nobody's ever made me feel this way...so loved and so valued." She spoke sincerely. "I proper love you, Riz. Even if you've turned me into a right melt."

"I proper love you too, Mol."

Mollie leaned frowards to connect their lips, slow and softly at first. But as they kissed, their passions deepened and it became even more heated. Mollie reached her hand up to Riz's hair, tugging on it gently while his hands reached up to slip off her jacket. His hands trailed down her arms, the feeling of his fingertips on her skin causing goosebumps to form and a shiver to run down her spine.

After a moment, Mollie pulled away. It wasn't that she wasn't enjoying it, because that was far from the truth. But she could sense where the night was going, and she needed to make one thing crystal clear first.

"Are you sure you want this?" She asked, locking her gaze with Riz's.

"More than anything." He responded quickly, feeling closer to the girl than ever before. "You?"

"You can't imagine." Mollie responded, a slight smirk on her lips as she nodded her head lightly before confirming her answer with a kiss. She smiled against his lips, sending a shiver down her spine before she grabbed his hand and tugged him towards the stairs. "Happy Birthday to me, eh?"
