IT WAS PENNY AND KURT'S JOB TO BRING FINN TO THE CHOIR ROOM AND IT WAS HARDER THAN THEY THOUGHT. Taking a hand each, they had the job of dragging him from the auditorium to the choir room whilst he had his eyes shut tight with the signature dopey look on his face, clearly excited at the prospect of a surprise.

Amused as they finally got to the choir room where everyone was already stood ready in front of Quinn and an empty stool, Penny gave him a poke on the arm, "open your eyes, dude, we didn't tell you to close them."

"Is there cake?" Finn asked, excitedly, finally opening his eyes.

Throwing his hands up into the air, Mike wanted to make it very clear that cake had been his idea in the first place, "what did I say?!" He exclaimed, pleased with himself.

Turning straight back to Finn with a playful roll of her eyes towards Mike, Penny pushed him gently towards his seat to get him to sit down, "there's no cake now but Mike will make you one. Sit down and be quiet."

Taking the lead as Penny and Kurt shuffled into their places, Mr Schue offered a confused Quinn and Finn a smile, "your fellow glee club members wanna sing a song for you guys to let you know how they feel about you."

Face lighting up, Finn instantly sat forward in his seat, "what are you gonna sing?"

"Just listen, the song says everything." Rachel told him with a soft smile.

long time no see!!!
first of all im so so so sorry it's been so long for both this and lost songs

but i realised that i had this draft written and i might as well publish it before unfortunately another rather long break between updates

i feel awful, but ive completely lost motivation at the moment, which is even more annoying when i have this entire book planned out, with season three and four being what im most excited about.

there most likely won't be another update for quite a while but rereading what id written so far made me realise that im actually quite proud of this writing and had given me a sprinkle of motivation to carry on.

secondly, i want to thank you all so so much for voting for bubblegum for best brittany book in the gleekawards i am honoured and feel so lucky and grateful to have all of your constant support despite my shitty update schedule!!

also thank you so so much for voting for my sunshine as best sam book, katy puckerman as best sporty oc and tessa swann as best dancer oc!!! i love all of you so much!!

i think you also deserve an explanation to my lack of motivation. i still love my books and my ocs dearly but with my gcses finished and my alevels starting i began to have other things to think about and the thought of writing seemed like a chore and i didn't want it to be. i want to find my love for writing these books again so i can do my characters and you as readers justice.

if it makes any difference, i have found a lot of motivation to write my wroetoshaw book that i announced in my draft reveal a few months back. i am going to finish writing it completely before publishing. i am currently on chapter 32 and have the whole thing planned thoroughly and am v v v excited about it!!! so feel free to check it out when i publish it!!! ill post on my message board when i do!!

in short, thank you all so so much for being so patient and supportive, i really appreciate it and im so so sorry for the lack of updates on this account over recent months.
