    Oh god.

...IS SHE SICK WITH THE FLU?!

Just as Takemichi is about to pull away from Senju and check in on her, his feet are suddenly off the ground.

Senju giggles uncontrollably as she spins Takemichi around in her arms, turning the world around her into one big mind numbing blur. What did Takemichi do to deserve this?! Is she making fun of him? Is she happy? Surely she's happy, she's laughing after all!

    "W-Wha?! Sen-Chanβ€”"

"MARRY ME MICHI, MARRY MEEEE!!!!" She screams while spinning him around like a new doll.

"M-MARRY?!" He exclaims, his face turning as red as the headband he wears around his head. Looking down at the platinum blonde girl, she smiles up at him with those emerald green eyes that twinkle and shine with a thousand stars.

"UH HUH!!! I'LL GET YOU A RING AND EVERYTHING!!!" Before Takemichi can even process the words that spilled from Senju's lips, a loud voice booms from behind him.

    "HEY!!! LET HIM GO!!!"

Senju tenses up and drops him, probably out of shock. The world around Takemichi continues to spin and dance as he distantly hears Senju talking to another one of his classmates.

    Wait...it isn't just a classmate, it'sβ€”

"β€”Work together to win!!!" Those are the only words Takemichi is able to catch as Senju tries reasoning with his tall blue headed friend. Hakkai stares down at Senju and Takemichi, his arms crossed in front of his chest as his face scrunches up in thought.

"Cmon Hakkai!!!" Takemichi joins in. "The other class is ahead by sooo many points! This could be our chance to finally pull ahead of them!!!" He says, hoping to sway Hakkai to the dark side.

The tall boy's gaze softens once it lands on Takemichi. With an exasperated sigh, Hakkai reaches his hand out for Takemichi to grab ahold of. The curly haired boy quickled latches on and pulls himself up, his silly little grin not once leaving his lips.

"I guess it's not a totally bad idea..." Hakkai relents, squeezing Takemichi's hand in a way that reassures the boy that he's on his side. Takemichi smiles brightly and squeezes back, warmth spreading throughout his entire body.

"Then let's get our classmates to team up!!!"

    "...Ok, fine, let's do it."

    "YEAHHH!!!"

    "...you're not marrying Michi though."

    "EH?!"

"RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN!!!"

Haru's shouts from across the field of vicious children follow after Keisuke as he runs across the open field with their opponents flag in one of his hands.

The yellow team, consisting of Keisuke's classroom as well as two others, cheer in triumph from behind him, hooting and hollering words of encouragement that has his lips breaking out into a humongous grin.

Is this what it's like to be a track star? A superhero? A celebrity? If so then Keisuke needs to look into becoming one of those things so he can listen to the sweet sounds of everyone cheering him onβ€”

    THUDD!!

His entire world is suddenly knocked upside down.

    What just happened?

He can distantly hear the sound of parents hollering in fright, feet clambering down on the grass, a small voiceβ€”that must have belonged to a girlβ€”keeps speaking, chatting his ear off and making his head throb. The voice is familiar, eerily familiar, and annoying. Very annoying. Like nails-on-a-chalkboard kind of annoying. The kind that makes your teeth grind together.

Keisuke tries pushing himself up, but the pain in his head was simply too much. Why's his body not listening to him? What happened? Wasn't he just running a second ago?

The more time Keisuke spends on the ground, the clearer his mind becomes. The annoying high pitched voice is no longer incoherent and he's able to put together a few words.

"I didn't...sorry...are you...please...help...someone..." are the only words Keisuke is able to make out without making his head hurt more than it already does.

He tries opening his eyes (when did he close them?) but the light burned himβ€”scorched him and brought a terrible ache to his already pounding head. He squints his eyes shut as everything keeps getting louder and louder. It hurts. He hates to admit it, he really does, but everything just hurts.

Keisuke can distantly feel tears rolling down his cheeks. Humiliation fills his entire being; he tries to move by attempting to lift himself off the ground, but he once again flops back onto the grassy surface, a grimace decorating his lips.

    What does he do?

    What can he do?

    Is he dying?

Why does he have to die in such a pathetic way?!

    "Keisuke!!! Do you hear me?!"

     Mom?

What was his mom doing in heaven?

    "KEISUKE!!! DO YOU HEAR ME?!"

Ok, no, he's not dead. Thank god! That would've been an embarrassing death.

He tries once more to lift himself off the ground, but alas, his muscles decide not to cooperate with him. What the hell? What the actual hell?

Can he curse? Swear? Anything to get his frustrations across? Surely his mom won't mind this time around since, well, something bad happened to him.

More words are exchanged from around him, and each syllable being spoken causes a terrible ache to shoot through his head. The brightness of the sun also isn't helping his predicament in the slightest, neither are the thousands of sorry's that keep leaving a girl's lips.

    Wait, he knows that voice.

    Is that Yuzuha?

Before Keisuke can question himself or the people around him, he slips into a state of unconsciousness, the pain accompanying him even in his slumber.
