Even Michikatsu inside his thoughts grew excited, with such malicious and sadistic intent. His golden eyes flickered with bloodlust and anger, driven by being the best and the strongest. He knew something was different the moment she inhaled, and in that split second she exhales, her attack strikes from below to the sky in a blinding strike. Her blade shimmers under the moonlight running the blade cutting him in half, but his regeneration was faster than she anticipated.
His body attached itself so quickly, before he forms a blade from his own flesh and this time bigger and sharper.
"A woman like you, I have my respect towards......" He stated; with a genuine tone. ".......you may not have a mark to extend your strength further, but you sure have a fire within you. Too bad a woman so strong and powerful next beside my damned brother, has to come to end. May you be blessed in the afterlife--"
Ryujin cuts himself ignoring his speech and sliced through his blade, only for it to regenerate again and again. No matter how many times, it would only reform into something stronger or bigger.
She knew she could not gain the mark that everyone else has gained, all because of her birthmark she suddenly was born with. Yoriichi realised by the spiritual world that it was to prevent her from shortening her life, as the dragon's purpose was to teach all and continue living to their older years to die honourably. It wasn't fair to her as she needed it to help her brethren, but long accepted it and now faced with a life that could be unpredictably end at any moment if she placed herself in dangers way.
"You didn't come to me by just mere coincidence," She spoke calmly; while she lunged towards him sharply.
"Doesn't matter......"
He charged towards her as they continued to fight for hours, her breath was heavy and hot but she didn't stop. She knew things were becoming to an end, as she tried her best to keep herself on her two feet. With haori's torn, pants tattered and hair tangled, she was becoming exhausted to the point that she ran out of energy to perform another technique. She's never been pushed this far before, and she realised how strong a demon under the influence of Muzan's blood.
Soon the peak of the sun rose from behind the mountains, as the warm orange hue glows upon her filthy face with dried blood crusted along her temple line.
Her breath hitched in realisation that she now had the advantage, as she draws in one final breathing technique between her red tainted lips, "Dragon breathing: Third form.........Dragon's eye slash!" gathering her momentum and remaining strength, the demon soon realised what she tried to do.
However she got to him first raising her blade and lunged towards him, tilting her blade slightly and went to his throat and sliced through the thick flesh. Yet she was at an advantage, her blade shattered mid-attack causing a small smirk crossing his face. She growled in anger before grabbing his arm keeping him in place, despite her life could be on the line. The sun kept rising slowly over the mountains, as he begins to rage in frustration. Her feet grounded her deeply into the dirt, as a strong aura rose from her.
He sneered, "It's not Michikatsu anymore...he's long gone," he uttered out, venomously. ".......I'm Kokushibo.......remember that."
He suddenly disappeared from her hold, as she blinked a few times. She slowly registered the fact he escaped from her clutches, as her lungs began to burn. The warm sun coaxes her cold skin, as she takes a moment to recover. Her eyes drifting around the ground, seeing the shifted dirt and trails around from their continuous fight. Her eyes become very tired, as she blood drips from her temple and exposed flesh through her torn haori.
'~ Caw~ Lady Ryujin head to Wind Estate now immediately! ~ Caw~'
Her eyes glance up to see the crow flying in circles above herself, before she registers the message and soon realised. Fear ran it's course through her body, as she started to make haste towards the Wind Hashira's residence.

AT THE WIND'S ESTATE
Every step felt heavier and heavier the further she walks in.......
The white cloth flowed in the gentle breeze, as she steps further into the home of the Wind hashira. She soon sees the Water hashira, along with other Hashira and slayers, as their eyes soon met her own. It felt like everything was muffled around her, and her breath grew heavier in the state she was in. Even the few slayers that stand inside were surprised by the state she was in, but she felt numb to the core not even acknowledging her own wounds.
She breaths out shakily stepping closer, and there she felt like her heart sank further.
There lays the body of the wind Hashira laid in white, covering his own entire body. So pure and so white, she was afraid in tainting the material. She slowly felt nauseous at the sudden realisation what this meant, as she blinked away a few tears. She refused to believe it, she wanted to deny it. She felt like the mark was a curse to all those she cared about, already understanding why Yoriichi refused to visit thinking he was at fault for their deaths.
Kneeling down beside Hayate's still body, her hands shook hesistantly before taking his hand that was slipped to the side from the futon.
"H-Hayate........" She uttered; swallowing her tears back. Her voice cracked slowly registering he was now in the afterlife, no longer with her anymore. ".......I'm sorry, I was too late to hear your last words......"
Yusuke the water Hashira placed a hand upon her shoulder, "He said....'he will see you in another life, and he'll swear to love and hold you'..........."
"That idiot....." she whispered; her grip around his cold hand only tightened.
Her lips trembled trying to remain strong before all the hashira, as her anger boiled more at the fact Michikatsu, no, Kokushibo prevented her from seeing him. It made sense to her now, that Kokushibo knew about this somehow and stopped her from saying goodbye. Her love for Hayate was so strong despite being married with a child and a good husband, she wished in another life she would marry Hayate.
"Why? I d-didn't..get to say......goodbye," her voice strained; a tear falling from one eye to her chin. "I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry Hayate.......I should've been here. To hear your voice one last time............"
She couldn't believed he was gone from this world, she didn't want to accept it.....
All the Hashira all bowed in respect leaving the room to give her a moment, as her eyes fall upon the material covering his face. She slowly reaches over and peels the material away, as her fingertips brush over his peaceful face. Her breath shaking and trembling, seething through her teeth while gazing upon him. She slowly leaned down and pressed a soft gentle kiss to his temple, and rested her own forehead against his and caressed his face. She knew from now, she must carry her family on, and only wish for a better life in a hundred years, no even four hundred or more years.
"In another life, we will meet again and I'll never let go....."

A/N: Hey guys!
I've finally finished writing Hayami's ancestors past, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. I know it seems rushed or pushed together so quickly, but I wanted to briefly show the past to help understand Hayami's clans ways and teachings and even the previous and start of the generation of slayers.
Thanks for being so patient as I've been sick, and then studying and so forth. I hope you all enjoyed and stay safe!
