Levi slowly stood up with syringe in hand, climbing to the top where I stood, "Akira......tell me......" his jaw locks, eyes gazing upon Erwin's lifeless body. ".....what do you think about all this? Who should I bring back?"

Stepping closer I place a warm comforting grip upon his shoulder, squeezing it with some assurance.

"Remember when we both spoke to him, about his ambitions, after this mission?" I mention to him softly. "I never saw a future behind his eyes, but.....with how this dispute has become....your decision will clarify the future of these walls."

His cold distant eyes, grew more heavy with a weight upon him.

".....for a moment I thought we bring Erwin back, despite how I've raised Armin like my own," I continue on, my eyes rest upon my Commander. "However, I even faltered myself......remembering one time Armin mentioned about what's behind these walls. He looked towards the future, so hopefully, further than Erwin could see......and I've grown to know Erwin over these years....."

Pursing my lips, tears finally roll down faintly.

".......all that man cared for, was about these walls," lifting my gaze, to meet my boyfriend's shocked blue eyes.. "He's fought for so long, but.......in my opinion, though I hated it......I believe we must depend on the younger generation for help, so our future can flourish. All those things Eren said, Armin saved us all as well......"

"So.....you believe Armin should be chosen?" He inquires, inhaling deeply through his nose steadily.

"........"

"Akira, am I doing the right thing here?" He questions, his voice shaky. Never have I seen him this way in such a long time, that it concerned me. "This is far bigger, than personal feelings an--"

"Let me share this burden with you," I brush a few of strands of his hair away, to see his piercing gaze. "We don't know if what we're doing is for the good of the Walls, or our people......we don't know the future. We can't predict these things in the long run, and despite your decision........we will bring hope again."

"Akira......"

Finally in the end of thinking long and hard, we took the consequences and buried it in ourselves. Once we've injected the serum, we both gathered Erwin and flew away from the rooftop. Watching Armin transforming from afar brought disgust, knowing that this is the only way.

Laying Erwin just below us, Hanji joined us both whilst staying in Erwin's presence before he passes. Not long after we heard Bertholdt's screams of protesting, he began calling out to his once so-called comrades.

"Captain.......why?" Floch questions, not understanding the decision we've made.

"Do you think......you can forgive him someday?" Levi questions him, solemnly. "He became a devil 'cause he had to. We were the ones who put him up to it and in the end, when he had finally been set free from this hell, we were about to bring him back for more....But I think....it's time we let him rest....."

Hanji checks Erwin for a brief moment, cupping the sides of his head while pulling his eyelids back only to find them lifeless.

"Erwin.....I told you I would kill the Beast Titan, but that'll have to wait," Levi continues, assuring him he will. So he must've annihilated the Beast titan, so now they know we're aware of the enemy.

"He's.....already dead," Hanji informs us, seeing the realisation hit Levi heavily.

Standing up I walk away to give myself a moment, trying to collect myself. Folding my arms, I tried to take big deep breaths in before exhaling. Not wanting to reveal my deep sadness, it was all too much. Finding out the truth behind my clan, having to kill my own Uncle, almost losing Lena and Hanji, thinking Levi was gone, and now the death of my Commander that I've finally grown to respect over the years.

My head and heart couldn't take it, almost at my whits end.

Suddenly I began to choke on the air, as my body finally begins to take all my wounds heavily, simultaneously. Falling to my knees I began to feel my body grow ice-cold, before growing hotter. Short laboured pants past my lips, feeling dizziness taking over my body. Finding it difficult to process this victory, but to such a cost, my body wasn't able to take it.

"Hey!" Floch exclaims, turning to me. "Captain she's--"

Levi was suddenly next to me, "No, go......go with Erwin," pushing his hands away, while trying to push myself back to my feet. My knees only buckled beneath me, my body falling into his arms securely.

"Hey, hey.....not right now," he sternly panics, finding his face blurry. "Just.....stay awake, you've....."

"Levi, she's lost far too much blood!" Hanji warns him, stepping towards me immediately with instinct. "Let me take care of her, you deal with Erwin....."

"But--"

Their voices began to fade, as everything went black instantly.
