"Thank you, Bell." Allaia sniffled, her pained expression slightly lightening up at his affectionate vow. "I have sleeping problems because of all this shit, you know? Sometimes even panic attacks. I used to have them every single day, but now it's better, because I've learned to control it.""
"You can always lie down next to me." Bellamy smiled, gently playing with Alle's fingers. "I'll be more than happy to chase away your nightmares, love."
"Nixon broke me like a fucking toy." Allaia let out a humorless laugh.
"You're anything but broken, Allaia." Bellamy assured, caressing her cheek with the biggest tenderness. "He was a psychopath. A fucking lunatic. He should've been isolated from society. Fuck, Nixon should've been floated right away for what he's done to you." He growled. "What I can't understand is why the Council stated he was innocent. Are they insane too?"
"I don't know." Allaia sighed. "I guess Jaha was too scared to lose his privileges and authority. Just imagine, if anyone found out that the Chancellor let a guard harass a minor under his watch, he would've lost his title."
"If I see Jaha next time, I'm gonna make my shot more precise." Bellamy hissed.
"Please don't." Allaia chuckled.
Bellamy hesitated before mentioning the upcoming venture. "You know, angel, Clarke, I and the rest are gonna check out the crash site. Wanna tag along? If you don't want to, it's totally fine." He assured.
"I think I'm gonna sit this one out." Allaia admitted, flinching at the perspective of seeing the place where her loved ones passed away in such a tragedy.
"Is there anything I can do for you now, love?" Bellamy inquired gently.
"Just hold me for a little longer." Allaia pleaded faintly, leaning onto his shoulder as Bellamy hugged her tightly in the wordless support.

SHADOWS WERE BEREAVED in dusk as darkness fell upon Earth, the full moon rising on the skyline above. Bellamy and the rest haven't returned from the crash site yet. The last thing Allaia wanted was to be alone, submerged in mourning, suffocating her with grief, so instead Alle decided to spend some time with Monty as he slowly sipped his moonshine, when suddenly Octavia approached them.
"Hey, no sign of your brothers or the others yet." Monty greeted her.
"Hey, I don't care." Octavia replied, lightly tapping Allaia on her shoulder to catch her attention.
Vaguely, Allaia followed her gaze, only to notice a beautiful flower stuck in the tree. Lincoln, Alle realized in amusement. As a smirk rose on her lips, Allaia cast Octavia a suggestive glare.
"Go get him Tavy." Alle chuckled, and the brunette nudged her playfully.
"What?" Monty asked in confusion.
"You know, Monty, girls and their little secrets." Allaia giggled.
"Jasper, tell us again, how'd you stay so calm? I would've been terrified." The three turned around, seeing Jasper surrounded by other delinquents, begging him to tell the story of how he saved everyone at the bridge with his rifle.
"Fear's only a problem if you let it stop you." Jasper stated proudly.
"That's not even his line." Octavia rolled her eyes. "Finn said that."
Jasper carried on with his tale. "When I saw Grounders in the trees, it was like nothing I've ever felt. Pure animal instinct took over. One pull of the trigger, two Grounders dead."
"Pure animal instinct?" Octavia scoffed. "More like pure pants-wetting panic."
"Oh, come on, Tavy, admit it, he's cute." Allaia laughed. "He's just trying a little bit too hard."
"You don't know what you're made of until a moment when it's kill or to be killed and there's just nothing between you, and the tip of a spear." Jasper admitted as everyone was staring at him with adoration glimmering in their eyes.
"Okay, this has to stop." Octavia began to walk towards the crowd, but Monty stopped her.
"Let us have this." Monty chuckled.
"Us?" Octavia questioned.
"Look at him. My boy's a folk hero." Monty smiled. "They even gave us a bigger tent."
A loud noise resonating from the forest alerted everyone, disseminating chaos and worry throughout the camp. Allaia let out a staggered breath, instinctively rushing towards the gates in uneasiness, million scenarios of what could've possibly happened flashing across her mind in a sinister assumption.
"Somebody hit the trip wire!"
"Is it a Grounder?" A girl panicked.
"I don't see anything." Another guy yelled.
"You sure it was a trip wire?" Someone implied. "I got nothing. Connor?"
"Nothing." He responded.
"Wait, something moved! There!" Derek pulled the trigger, aiming his gun at the bushes nearby, firing a few times. "I think I got him. Let's go."
Allaia and Octavia quickly trailed behind Connor, overtaking him in the end. As she drew close, Alle noticed a curled-up figure hiding in the bushes, trembling in fear. Delicately, she tried to touch it, shivering slightly when the person rapidly moved away. Connor came up from behind Alle, shining his flashlight at the briars, causing everyone's jaw to drop at the sight.
"Murphy?"
