at him, and she blushed with a slight embarrassment.

The boy froze when he saw the girl who was ogling him. He gasped in awe, taken aback by her beauty. For a while he thought that the girl was some kind of sorceress who cast a spell on him. He couldn't take his eyes off of her, enchanted by her prettiness. She was rather short and very slim; her dark brown wavy hair reached her chest and her big brown eyes could easily manipulate and convince him into doing anything for their gorgeous owner. The guy realized he could just stare at the girl for hours; the sight of her aroused in him a strange need to protect her.

"Bellamy?" A timid voice asked which caused the two to finally take their eyes off of each other.

Allaia turned around and saw Octavia running towards the guy whose name apparently was Bellamy. When she finally reached him, Bellamy looked down at her and smiled widely, immediately pulling her to his chest. He gently caressed Octavia's hair and kissed her forehead, seeming relieved.

"My God, look how big you are." Bellamy breathed, hugging Octavia as he thought he would never see her again.

"What the hell are you wearing? A guard's uniform?" Octavia questioned amused, pulling away from Bellamy.

"I borrowed it to get on the drop ship." Bellamy said. "Someone's got to keep an eye on you." He explained with a smile, holding his arm around Octavia's shoulder.

Allaia felt relieved, knowing he wasn't a real guard.

"Where's your wristband?" Clarke inquired rather harshly.

"Do you mind?" Octavia snapped annoyed. "I haven't seen my brother in a year."

Allaia smiled sincerely; she and Octavia had more in common than she could have imagined. They both were a second child. Except Allaia spent her whole life in the Sky Box while Octavia lived with her family in hiding, given her words about not seeing her brother for a year. Allaia knew absolutely nothing about her sibling, including the gender and the name. Abby told her that Jaha didn't want her to know anything about her family and Abby had to obey him if she wanted to keep visiting Allaia. Seeing Octavia and Bellamy's sweet reunion, she started wondering if her brother or sister was on the ship with her. Allaia certainly hoped so since she was dying to meet him or her.

"No one has a brother!" Someone yelled.

"That's Octavia Blake! The girl they found hidden in the floor!" A boy laughed.

His words irritated Octavia. She launched herself towards the crowd only to be stopped by her brother's arms.

"Octavia. Octavia, no." Bellamy tried to calm his little sister as she was trying to get free out of his grasp. "Let's give them something else to remember you by." He offered.

"Like what?" Octavia asked.

"Like being the first person on the ground in a hundred years." Bellamy smiled.

"Ninety seven, actually." Clarke coughed obnoxiously, which caused the Blake siblings to glare at her with reluctance. Allaia rolled her eyes as well, what didn't escape Bellamy's attention. He was still sneakily staring at her, unwilling to let the girl out of his sight.

Bellamy glanced at Allaia one last time and reached for the lever in order to open the door. The door opened with a loud bang and hissing of fresh air, slowly beginning to tilt. A bright dazzling light filled the room. Everyone fell silent, waiting with anticipation for the view that everyone on the Ark dreamt of. Eventually, the door hit the ground and the incredible green of the tree crowns appeared to their eyes. Octavia inhaled in tension and started walking down. Her face was shining with pure awe as she stared at the astonishing sight of Earth herself. She exhaled heavily and jumped on the ground, then looked around. Octavia waited a few seconds and raised her arms as she screamed happily:

"We're back, bitches!" Triumph gleamed in her eyes as she released a victorious cry.

As soon as Octavia yelled those words, the rest of the prisoners started running towards the exit of the ship, shouting cheerfully. When they ran past Allaia, the girl stumbled and swayed, and although she almost fell, she didn't take her eyes off the incredible view in front of her. However, a pair of muscular arms managed to catch her at her waist before she fell on the metal floor of the ship. Allaia raised her head and saw Bellamy's eyes drilling a hole in her as if they wanted to see the depth of her soul. She blushed and focused her eyes on her shoes, clearly embarrassed by the whole situation.

"Easy there, princess." Bellamy's arms didn't leave her waist even after he made sure she was standing steadily.

"Thanks." Allaia murmured awkwardly, a deep shade of red falling upon her cheeks.

Bellamy smirked, seeing what effect he already had on her. He reluctantly removed his hands from her waist, already missing the proximity.

"You coming?" He asked as he stretched his hand for her to grab.

"Yeah." Allaia replied, looking at the sky and trees clearly amazed.

Shyly, she grabbed his hand. His grip was strong and certain, it made her feel safe. Bellamy led her to the exit, and she took a cautious breath and eventually left the ship. When her feet touched the ground, she smiled widely. Allaia stepped harder on the dirt, feeling the strange structure of the grass. Taking a deep breath, enjoying the fresh air, she looked around. The big amount of greenery at first seemed overwhelming to her, but Allaia knew she would happily get used to the colorful world since she spent her entire life in a grey cell. To Bellamy's displeasure, she let go of his hand when she saw the pink flowers growing nearby. She knelt down and smelled them, deeply drawn by a new scent for her. The Earth was far more wonderful than Allaia could have ever imagined.

"It's so beautiful..." She whispered, touching a pink flower she smelled earlier.

Bellamy was watching the enchanted girl the entire time with a big smile on his face, absorbing her charming reactions to the surrounding landscape.

"Happy to be here?" Bellamy asked.

"Isn't everyone happy to be here?" Allaia replied rhetorically, staring at the sky dreamily.

"So, I didn't catch your name." Bellamy noticed, intrigued by the girl's astounding beauty.

"Maybe because I didn't throw it." She joked. "I'm Allaia."

"I'm Bellamy, but you've probably already heard that." He introduced himself, sending her a soft smile. "You have a pretty name, I think I'll keep calling you one of my nicknames. I just can't decide which one suits you the best." He admitted and Allaia blushed deeply, innerly cursing herself for the way she was reacting to his words. "I guess we're gonna have to find out."

"Just call me Alle or Lai. I don't mind." Allaia suggested awkwardly.

"But where's the fun in that, princess?" He smirked.

"Princess?" Allaia raised her eyebrow in amusement, suddenly feeling a little more confident. "Um, that's funny. You should really work on your pickup lines. Try to be a little more original and less cliche and any girl in the world will be yours." She advised in a mocking tone. "I'm gonna go and tour this place. You can go too and find some girls to practice your flirting skills. See you later, Bellamy."

Quite fascinated, Bellamy wanted to yell at her not to wander off too far, but Allaia was already gone by then. She intrigued him, he was mesmerized by her blunt honesty. At first, Bellamy was convinced that Allaia was just another cute timid girl, but she was feisty and seemed to be resilient to his charms. As if pulled by a magnet, he was drawn to her, wanting to discover everything hiding underneath that beautiful face and alluring personality.

And he would uncover it all.
