Olivia awoke the next morning with aΒ enormousΒ headache and Elena standing over her, with a finger laid on her lips, telling Liv that she had to stay quiet. At first the Saltzman didn't understand, but then Elena moved out of the way and let Olivia see the sleeping guy by the end of the bed, making her sit up fast.Β
Again, Elena caught her attention by nodding her head to the front door of the motel room. The girls looked from the guy Bonnie went on a date with last night to the door, both of them hoping that they could make it to the door without waking Ben up.
As quiet as possible, Olivia slid off the bed and followed Elena, who was slowly stepping over Ben's outstretched leg, which lay on the other bed that Elena had woken up on. Once they were both over his leg, they turned their backs to the door so that they could keep an eye on him.Β
Elena was the one to slowly unlock the deadbolt on the door while Olivia kept watching the man she had never seen before until now. The oldest brunette turned the lock on the door and was prepared to open it, until Olivia nudged her arm and a voice spoke up. "I wouldn't."Β
Elena gasped as she spun around to face Ben, who stood a few steps away from them, stepping even more closer to them, turning to the shorter girl first.Β
"Don't try to escape. Don't even move. Do you understand?" He used his compulsion on her. Or at least he thought he did. What Ben didn't know was that it wouldn't work since she was wearing the necklace Stefan had gifted her.
Olivia nodded as he stepped away from her and did the same to Elena. When he was done with compelling them both, he scoffed and turned back around to get a bottle of blood out of the mini fridge of the motel room.
As soon as his back was turned to the girls, Elena grabbed the handle and pushed it down so that the door would open but this time it was Anna who blocked their path, stopping them from escaping. Anna grabbed Olivia by her hair and Elena by her arm and dragged them both inside with her.
"Seriously?" The girl asked Ben.
"I told them not to move! I did that eye thing that you taught me!" Ben defended himself.
"And forgot the lesson about vervain. They're both dating a vampire, Ben. Duh!" Anna told him with anger as she pushed the two girls up against the wall.
"Who are you? What do you want?" Elena asked as they both kept struggling to get out of the vampire's grip.
"Does it matter?" Anna replied to Elena's question while opening the bathroom door and forcing them both inside by pushing them against another wall before shutting the door again.
Olivia at first tried to open the door again but when she knew it was never gonna work, she flipped the light switch. Elena looked at the wood on the wall next to the mirror as Olivia looked over to the bathtub, seeing Bonnie lying in it, unconscious.
"Oh my God!" Olivia quickly said, rushing to the Bennett's side. "Bonnie?" She asked lifting Bonnie's head up but got no reaction from the witch.
Elena wet a cloth in that laid sink and placed it on Bonnie's forehead in hopes to wake her best friend up as Olivia held Bonnie head on her hand so that the Bennett's head wouldn't have to lean on the hard wall. And to their luck it didn't take long for the witch to wake up.
"Elena?" Bonnie asked as she woke up and then she saw Olivia next to Elena. "Liv. My head." Bonnie groaned as the two pulled Bonnie upright in the bathtub.
"Oh my God! Ben is a-" Bonnie realized but the two quickly cut her off by shushing her. Elena gestured at her ear before pointing at the bathroom door as Olivia got up and walked towards the sink to turn the tap on, returning fast to her original spot next to Elena.
"I'm so stupid!" Bonnie mentally cursed herself for ever trusting the vampire.
"No, he had all of us fooled!" Elena told Bonnie, trying to make her best friend feel better. Olivia also wanted to say something like that, but since she had no idea who the guy was and what he meant to Bonnie, she decided to keep her mouth shut because even if she said anything, Bonnie would know she was lying and it wouldn't help the Bennett feel any better.
"What's going on? Why are we here?" Bonnie asked the two girls.
"It must have something to do with the tomb and Emily's spell book." Elena answered, guessing.
"Spell book?" Bonnie and Olivia asked her at the same time.
"Damon said it could be used to open the tomb." Elena explained, remembering what Damon had told her and Ben when he had sneaked into the Gilbert house to command them to look for anything that could lead them to Johnathan Gilbert's journal.
"Why didn't I know about any of this?" Bonnie asked.
"I was trying to keep you out of it, hoping it would never come to this." Elena said, explaining why she had held it back from her own best friend. Olivia already got hurt, she didn't want that to happen to Bonnie as well.
"Come to what?" Bonnie asked.
"They need a witch to break the spell and let the vampires out."
"No way!" As Elena and Olivia were trying to calm down Bonnie, Ben the vampire bursted through the door and slowly turned the tap off with a scoff while the two girls stood in front of Bonnie, protectively.Β "You're wasting your time. I'm not gonna help you." Bonnie spoke to him, glaring like Olivia had never seen her do.
Ben laughed at her words in a devilish way as he grabbed the two girls. Bonnie reached out to try and pull them both back but Ben just pulled them further away from her grasp. "That's why they are here. Motivation for you to behave. You know, you shouldn't be so desperate. You made it too easy." Ben said to Bonnie before stepping away from her and towards the door, opening to push Elena out of the room, roughly.
Bonnie got up from the tub, but Ben shut the door before she could do as much as get out of the tub and that left the three of them alone in the room. Ben also let go of Olivia, who quickly walked over to Bonnie.
Not much later, about five minutes, Anna knocked on the door to let Ben know she was leaving. So the vampire let the two girls, who had no idea that Anna had called Stefan to let him know she had the three girls, and himself out of the bathroom to the main room.Β
"Keep them buttoned down. Compulsion won't work. Just use violence." Anna told him before leaving to meet with Damon on the town square.
"Right. I got that. Sit, behave." Ben told them, pushing Bonnie and Olivia on the bed next to Elena's as the door shut closed before taking off his jacket and turning to face the three teenage girls. "So you're the key to this. Literally. The one who opens the door. Tell me, how long have you been a witch?" He asked Bonnie, sitting down on the chair.
"Is there anything to drink here?" Elena asked him, hoping to distract him from Bonnie.
"Are you offering?" He asked, standing up to make his way over to her. "There's water on the nightstand." He said after Elena moved herself so she would be further away form him.
Elena took the glass from the nightstand between the two beds. However before she could drink, Bonnie asked her something. "Hey. Can I have a sip?" Elena started at the girl with confusion as to why Bonnie was looking at her as if she had a plan. Elena quickly looked over to Ben, who stood almost next to Olivia, before handing her friend the glass with water.
Bonnie took it and tossed the the water on Ben, turning it into flames with her minds. This of course distracted the vampire from the three so that they could get up and run to the door as Ben tried to stop the fire on his arm. Olivia made it to the door first and opened it as fast as she could. Her and Bonnie were ready to run for their lives, but that was only until Ben grabbed Elena by her waist, stopping her from following after her two friends.
"Don't hurt her." Olivia and Bonnie said in unison as they looked at their friend while stepping back inside the motel room.
"Don't make me." Ben yelled back at them.
Olivia closed the door behind her.
"Lock it." Ben told her and Olivia locked theΒ deadbolt on the door. "Now sit back down." He told them, once again pushing Elena to the bed and the other two also took their original spot on the other bed and Ben started pacing in front of them.Β "Witches don't have eternal life, right? So you guys can die."
"Yep. We can die." Bonnie answered."Ah! That sucks." But Olivia wasn't sure that that was the thing that sucked. At least for Ben. Out of nowhere, the door got kicked open and Stefan appeared on the outside of the door, together with Benjamin, her father and her uncle.
Ben screamed in pain as the sunlight started to burn his skin. To make the pain even worse, Stefan opened both of the curtains, allowing the sunlight to come into the room even more.
"Ben!" Elena screamed as Olivia ran towards her dad, who quickly embraced her. He had never felt such worry before. They brought the girls outside, leaving only Stefan inside with Ben.
"When the sun goes down, leave town.Β If I ever see you near Olivia again, I will kill you." Stefan treated him, already wanting to kill him for taking his mate away from him. But Olivia was outside. And Olivia was and will always be more important than murder someone who was asking for it.
"Stef." Olivia said as he came walking over to where she, her dad and uncle were standing.Β
"Hey." Stefan greeted her as he opened his arms for her, which she did.Β
"Thank you for saving us." Olivia muttered, still holding on to Stefan as she looked up at him.
"I would always come to save you, Liv. Always." Stefan replied, before planting his lips on hers,Β which were as soft as cotton. And Olivia didn't pull back. The girl didn't care that her uncle and father were standing there, glaring at the boy who was kissing her. No, the only thing on Olivia's mind was Stefan Salvatore.
"Okay, that's quite enough." Alex said, grabbing his niece's shoulder and pulling her away from Stefan. "I think we have some things to talk about, don't you think, Livy?"
"I'll stop by later." Stefan said to her. He wanted to explain the whole 'soulmate' thing to her before he asked her to be his girlfriend. Cause if he asked her to be his girlfriend first, she would think that he only did that because they're mates, which is not true. Even without the mate thing, he would've definitely liked her.
But first he had to stop Damon and Anna from getting in that tomb for Katherine and her Anna's mother. However, Katherine was the one that absolutely needed to stay inside.
Olivia nodded at him as she waved at her friends goodbye before stepping in her father's car.
