"Here officer." Picking the firearm up by the barrel and handing it to the police. "Take her somewhere she'll be safe." He requested, glancing down at you.
"[y/n], Al is still fighting so I have to go, okay?" Standing up straight your hand flew to his metal wrist. "Let me come, please."
"I'm sorry." He said, pulling away, your hand sliding from his arm as you continued to reach out.
The police helped you up as you watched Ed run off.
Leading you to the car they opened the door for you. "Would you mind bringing Winry Rockbell to where you're taking me?" You asked as you took a seat in the back.
Glancing at each other with sympathetic looks they nod in reply before driving off to the command center.
Arriving at the center they lead you into a room where you are met with Winry who quickly runs over to you. "[y/n] are you okay?!" Examining you for any injury.
"I'm fine, Winry, but there's some stuff I need to tell you..."

Before you knew it hours had passed. Winry had been in tears at your explanation of everything, but was thankful you didn't shoot.
Police had provided the two of you with drinks and eventually the Fuhrer had come to speak with you.
The door opened and a small smile came onto your face, seeing the short blonde and his brother.
"[y/n]! Winry?" Jogging inside before coming to a stop noticing Bradley.
Sipping on his hot tea he peeked an eye open before grinning. "Oh, hello Fullmetal."
"Fuhrer Bradley, this is a surprise." He claimed. "What brings you here?" Al asked.
"I heard that a friend of yours was under our protection, here at the command center, and she requested to have a friend present. As friends of such an important alchemist, they deserve our every courtesy."
Ed narrowed his gaze slightly.
Standing up Bradley grabbed his sword. "I should be on my way now. If you'll please excuse me miss." Giving the two of you a bow.
"Oh, of course sir." Winry said, both of you returning a bow.
A shiver ran down your spine at the man's single eyed gaze. Stopping at the door you watch as he says something to Ed before walking off.
Watching them peek out the door you and Winry approached them. "Ed." The blonde girl spoke. "She told me everything..."
Not saying anything you turned your gaze away.
—
The ride back to the hotel was silent, well, at least from you.
Winry was speaking with Ed and Al while you stared out the window, watching as the buildings passed by.
Ignorant of the fact the blondes eyes were trained on you the entire ride back.
Walking back into the hotel the man at the front desk perked up upon sight of the blonde girl. "Aw, perfect timing. Ms. Rockbell, there's a telephone call for you."
"For me?" She questioned, placing a hand on her chest. Jogging over she took the phone from the man and held it up to her ear.
"Yes, hello? Oh, mister Garfield."
The only other thing heard was the sound of people conversing on the other side of the phone, all of them speaking about how they needed her, and expressing their misses.
"I'm sorry, I'll be back home soon, just hold on. I won't be much longer, I'll help everyone, thank you all." A small smile tugged at your lips.
Her once sorrowed cries from the command center were replaced with joy filled ones, the realization of her needs and the family she had in rush valley dawning onto her.
—
As the sun went down you all stood in the train station as Winry's train prepared to set off.
"Thank you, [y/n] for telling me about Scar. I forgot there were people who still depended on me. If you hadn't helped me through it I don't know how'd I'd ever face them again."
"Of course." You say, looking down at her.
Grinning, she turned to Ed. "Make sure to take good care of your automail."
"Yep." Giving her a thumbs up before sticking his hand back into his pocket.
She turned to Al. "Oh and I'll send you some good polishing oil soon Al."
"Great!"
Glancing down she thinks of her next words. "And no dying okay?"
"Right." You all said. "The next time I see you I'll explain more about compass reading."
Your words cause the blonde to laugh. "And I'll explain more about which screw to use depending on the structure."
The bell rings as the three of you wave goodbye, watching as the train departs.
As you all make your way back out of the train station Ed comes to a stop making you turn back to look at him. "Ed?"
"The next time I make you cry, they'll be tears of joy. Al and I will be back in our real bodies, that's a promise." Grinning you just ruffle his hair before walking ahead.
Al came up besides his brother, nudging his shoulder, earning a shout in reply.

As you all walk out of the train station Roy pulls up, skidding to a stop. "Colonel?" Ed questioned.
"Get in the car."
You all pile into the back as he drives off, stopping once again at another house, a man walking over the hill with a cigarette in between his lips.
After convincing the man you all made way outside of the city and to a cabin in the middle of the woods.
You, Ed, and Al stood besides Ling as the man, who turned out to be a doctor, worked on Lan Fan who had amputated her arm.
Her screams echoing through the cabin. "I'm sorry-" Ed goes to speak only for Ling to cut him off.
"No, don't apologize. I'm the one who suggested it, remember? We both had something to gain out of it so it made sense. When I went in search of immortality, I knew I must be ready to make certain sacrifices."
Pulling his knee close to his chest.
The boys look down in guilt. "But I- I wasn't ready for this. Lan Fan was though. She made the decision I was too weak to make."
The three watched as you walked up to Ling, the only assumptions in their mind being you would comfort the guy only for them to be wrong.
Your fist collided with the side of his cheek, knocking him off the stool. "You Idiot!"
They watched in slight shock as you walked into the operation room, Lan Fan's screaming having subsided.
As you all gathered around she slowly woke up. "She's awake." Al pointed out.
"You okay? Is there anything we can do?" Ed asked.
Weakly turning to face him she smiled slightly. "That old trap of yours, worked pretty well." Recalling the trap he had tried to use on you back in Rush Valley.
"But I'm useless without my arm. I'm going to need to find a replacement." The blonde gasped slightly before looking down at his own automail arm.
"You know, I can introduce you to a great engineer." Lan Fan's eyes waver as she hums with a smile.
Leaving her side you all meet back up with Ling and Roy who were looking at some big monster thing stuck in thick wire.
"Ew what is that thing?!" You scream, grabbing onto Ed's arm, unaware of the blush coating his cheeks. "That's Gluttony he's a homunculus." Ling explained as doctor Knox came over.
"He and his friends have connections among some of the military's senior staff." Roy stated.
Ling breathed out. "Just some you say? It goes far deeper than that." His words caused Roy to gasp and turn to him.
"You're Fuhrer King Bradley, I believe it's possible that he's a homunculus too."
Shocked noises come from the alchemists.
"I saw his eye, the one under the patch, it had an ouroboros tattoo. He and gluttony came after us and they were working together."
"I did get a weird feeling when he came to talk to me at the command center." You added, recalling how a shiver ran up your spine under his gaze.
"No way." Ed expressed. "Our ruler, a homunculus?" Al said in disbelief.
"Although, Bradley doesn't have the same inhuman presents as you get from gluttony. At his core he still feels like a regular person."
Ling stated.
"Another thing. If the Fuhrer is a homunculus how can he possibly have a son? It said in that book that the homunculi have no reproductive capabilities."
"No." Knox spoke up. "The Fuhrer's son Salem is adopted. There's no direct blood relation between him and his father."
Grunting Ed and the doctor look down only to peek back up when Roy scoffs.
"Whether he's monster or human either way, these new developments will make it easier to remove him from the seat of power. First we get information out of this one and I'll take his stone. It may prove useful in treating my men."
Gazing down at gluttony's struggling figure.
"Hey you! Lan Fan lost her arm to get him, he's our captive, we're taking him back to Xing!" Ling protested.
"Hold it! He could help us get our bodies back. We've been working on that for a longtime. I'm not gonna let you just waltz off with him!" Ed shouted.
"That's right. Think about it Ling, you're an illegal alien-" Roy went on.
Knox groaned and walked off, too annoyed to deal with them. "Good luck Mustang, I'm going home."
"Guys." The tone of your voice causes them all to stop, slight fear in their eyes.
Glancing over at you they notice your gaze set on the homunculus. Following your gaze they all freeze, seeing the fat creature expanding through the wires.
"Roy Mustang!"
It's stomach opened up, a gray eye set in the middle with teeth bordering the edge.
You quickly place a hand on Ed's shoulder, seeing him tense up.
Red alchemy sparks from the eye, a blast of air shooting through the wall of the cabin, taking it out.
"What was that?!"
