nothing when created. I recycle the trash and I give them purpose. I give them a life" he concluded with nothing but pleasure of what he had built and created.

This speech of dominance had disgusted Natasha right down to the core. This man was vile, completely vile and she had to take him down. None of the girls trapped in this nightmare of a facility deserve to be in here including Avery who she had took note of was the little blond girl's name. She made her way over to take a close look at the screen that Dreykov seemed to be observing.

The man continued to speak "it's my network of widows that help me control the scales of power. One command, the oil and stock markets crumble. One command, and a quarter of the planet will starve. My widows can start and end wars. They can make and break things"

Avery watched the holographic screen in confusion. She didn't understand half of what general Dreykov meant and what anything on the screen meant either but from the concerned expression taking over Natasha's face she came to a conclusion that it wasn't anything good.

"You control all of that from here?" She questioned, barely being able to comprehend all of this sudden horrifying news to her.

Dreykov hummed in approval "and with you, an avenger under my control. I can finally come out of the shadows using the only natural resource that the world has too much of. Girls." He declared immorally. A bunch of different girl's faces appeared on the holographic screen.

"all from that little console?" She asked lightly, a sudden smile creeping up onto her face while she eyed the small console on the desk right near Dreykov's fingertips.

This took the general by a bit of complexity "yeah. Oh, you find this amusing? Why are you smiling?"

In Avery's opinion that was quite a sensible question to ask in this situation. The woman was being told some horrific information from what the seven year old was understanding, though she's smiling as if this information was some type of practical joke Dreykov was feeding her. Was there something she was missing?

"Don't take this personal, but, uh.. thank you for your cooperation" she smiled innocently as if in contrast she was about to do something not so innocent. "You weren't quite strong enough, so.. I'll have to finish it myself"

Dreykov chuckled loudly at the redhead's words "what are you going to do?"

Natasha gave a quick smirk in Avery's direction before smashing her nose down onto the general's desk, leaving some fresh blood behind when bringing her face back up. Her nose was now slightly crooked and some blood had also started running down from her nose but she ignored it.

The seven year old's mouth hung wide open as the woman had partaken in smashing her fragile face into a hard surfaced desk. It looked like it would hurt quite terribly but the girl understood as to why Natasha had done it. It prevented her from smelling the man's pheromones which meant she could attack him without the invisible barrier blocking him from the attacks.

"Severe the nerve" she said before immediately going to grab at Dreykov's hand

Dreykov, who now had actual fear in his eyes much to Avery's dismay had went to grab at the console though Natasha had been faster and caught up to his hand. Somehow the man had still managed to press down on the console which made it turn red. Avery had a feeling it was some sort of alarm.

Natasha made no hesitation at punching Dreykov and he had flew out of his chair. For the first time since being in this room Avery had moved. She bolted down to be behind the woman for protection. If there was any side she wanted to be on right now it was definitely Natasha's side.

Natasha paced around the table to where the general now was on the floor, the seven year old following behind her like a shadow.

"Not so talkative now are you" She commented before throwing a kick right at his head.

The round figured man went right smack into the side of the table and Avery couldn't even lie, she didn't feel an ounce sorry for the man, especially after what he had done to her a few years back. So she stood back and let Natasha do her job.

The older woman stood over the general "you took my childhood. You took my choices and tried to break me. But you're never gonna do that again to Avery or to anybody else ever again" she proclaimed as she went to pull out a weapon from her back.

Though before she could do this, she had suddenly been struck in the back with what looked like a grappling hook and was pulled right across to the opposite side of the office, landing on her back on the stone cold ground.

Avery swiftly turned around to see where this attack had come from and to her anxiousness it was a bunch of older widows that were definitely extremely advanced in their training and didn't look like they would go easy on anybody in their path. Avery felt herself gulp nervously.

Dreykov had picked himself up off of the ground and placed his black rimmed glasses back onto his face before beginning to walk out of the room. Before he left the office he gave a firm command to the multiple older widows "Nobody leaves this room until both of them are dead. Make them suffer"

With that he had exited the office leaving Natasha who now stood in front of Avery in protection while Avery tried to make her breathing go to an even level again though she was panicking because she couldn't take on all these widows. She hadn't even had half the training they had endured. She was going to die, she wasn't gonna get to be a ballerina and have a future in ballet at all.

"I don't want to hurt you. You don't wanna hurt us." Natasha tried to reason with them even though she knew that reasoning with them wasn't gonna do much help as they were all definitely being mind controlled. "Avery get behind me!" She commanded right as one of the widows lunged for her.

After that everything felt like a complete blur to Avery.

One second she had been safely behind Natasha and the next second she had been grabbed hardly by two widows. She kicked, thrashed around and screamed to be let go of but they wouldn't budge and they made her watch as Natasha struggled to fight against all of the other widows. There was tears spilling from her eyes that she had been trying to hold back for a good amount of time but at this point she didn't even care that she was crying anymore. She just wanted to go back to her ballet class with Madame Popova, do something she was familiar with. Getting whipped by her ballet instructor was easier than the situation she was in now.

Eventually the widows had overruled Natasha and now she was being held back by one of them while the rest of the figures took individual turns at striking her over and over again. The two widows gripping onto Avery forced her head with their rough hands to be in the direction of all of this so that she had to watch it.

"Natasha!" She had screamed with all her might. Her voice had become hoarse from all the screaming she had done and she was profoundly sobbing. Her whole body shook at the sight of Natasha being brutally abused.

This had went on for what felt like forever in Avery's point of view. Just as she was about to give up on trying to fight her way out of the two widow's grasp on her a sudden explosion had happened but it wasn't anything like an explosion that a bomb would set off.  No, this explosion had been different.

A bunch of smoke and chemicals of some sort, that was as red as a ruby had filled the entirety of the room. Everybody present in the room had paused as this smoke took over each and every one of them.

Avery hadn't any idea on what this mystifying red stuff was but she wasn't complaining as the previously daunting widows now no longer were attacking Natasha and the two that had been keeping her hostage had now let go of her, even though she could still mentally feel their hands on her arms, which her arms would definitely have marks on them later. At least she could now move again.

Though her relief didn't last for long as after she had glanced over in Natasha's direction to see if she was okay to which fortunately she seemed to look okay enough in Avery's line of sight. After she had proof that the redheaded woman was okay her eyes had traveled around the office, taking observations of all the widows who now no longer were being mind controlled and then her irises just happened to land on the one person in the whole wide world that she had wanted to meet her entire seven years of living, right at the doorway of the office.

Her mother, Yelena Belova.
