—TODAY WAS THE DAY

Today was the day you'd been eagerly anticipating your crush was finally taking you out on a date. When you asked him where you were going, he insisted it was a surprise, leaving you unable to contain your excitement.

As you got ready in the bathroom, you applied clear mascara to your lashes, a hint of blush to your cheeks, and some lip gloss. A touch of eyeliner completed your look. You chose a white sun dress adorned with blue flowers that stopped at your calves paired with a white cardigan. White Converse shoes completed the outfit , adding a touch of casual charm to your outfit.

—ON KEISUKE'S SIDE

Keisuke paced around his room, his thoughts racing. "What if she doesn't like it?" he mumbled anxiously, biting his nails. "What if I mess it up? Does my breath smell okay?" The weight of the moment pressed down on him, and he sank to the floor, feeling overwhelmed. "Dude, just go," a voice urged from the doorway. "Yeah, don't be so depressing," another voice chimed in from Keisuke's bed. "If you don't, you might lose her, just saying," added a voice from his desk.

"How and when did you even get in here?" Keisuke asked, bewildered by the sudden intrusion of his friends. "Your mom let us in, man. Your bed is comfortable," Yuta remarked, snuggling deeper into the sheets. "I had a gut feeling, so I decided to check it out. It's looking good, but it's not doing good," Hiroto added.
"I saw him, so I followed him," Yuta chimed in, with Curtis agreeing.

"No, but you should go, though. She's impatient to the point where she's actually ready on time," Yuta said, glancing down at his phone. "Yeah, so get up and go," Curtis urged, dragging Keisuke out of his room, with Yuta and Hiroto following without question.

—ON YOUR SIDE

"What if I mess up? Is my outfit okay?" you sighed, throwing your head back and resting your hands on your hips. "First of all, that you wont mess up. Second of all, cute outfit. And third, just go," a voice said. "Okay, but you're giving rich girl vibes," another voice chimed in. "The outfit is so basic, yet you make it look fantastic," added a third voice.

"They're right. Now go wait downstairs. I'm pretty sure Keisuke is going to show up soon," Yuzuha informed you, and you did as suggested. You took off your shoes, held them in your right hand with your index and middle finger, and walked down the stairs with Yuzuha, Hana, and Mina following behind.

"And who are you looking so good for?" your mom asked. "No one," you lied. "Yeah, we were actually going to the park with her, if that's okay with you," Hana added quickly. "Oh, well, it's fine by me, but make sure to be back by 8," your mom said. "Alright," you replied, heading out the door with Yuzuha, Hana, and Mina following behind. As you stepped outside, you felt a mixture of excitement and nerves. The evening air was cool, and you took a deep breath, trying to calm your racing heart. The girls chatted animatedly behind you, their laughter providing a comforting backdrop as you all made your way down the street. Seriously, you look amazing," Mina said, giving you a playful nudge. "Keisuke won't know what hit him."

"Thanks, guys," you said, smiling despite your anxiety. "I just hope I don't trip over my own feet or something." "Don't worry, we've got your back," Yuzuha reassured you. "Besides, if he doesn't realize how great you are, it's his loss." You felt a surge of confidence from their support. As you walked towards the park, you couldn't help but feel grateful for your friends. They always knew how to lift your spirits and make you feel ready for anything. "Okay so like where are we going ?' You asked the three girls "where escorting you to your lover boy" Hana told you. You smiled at the little name she gave Keisuke. Yes it is true that you guys weren't dating but everyone thought you where.

Which of course made it confusing but you just rolled with it and waited for the right time. While you were lost in your thoughts you failed to realize that you where arrived at your destination. It was a small park close to your house with all types games kids would love "alright where gonna leave you have fun" Hana said "not too much tho" Yuzuha winked which resulted in getting waked upside down the head by Mina "what I'm just saying !" she defended herself. You chuckled at her little antics you turned around and spotted a very calm and relaxed keisuke sitting by himself on a bench waiting for you.

Since it looked like he hadn't noticed you, you decided to scare him. Quietly, you made your way over and sneaked up behind him. "If you're trying to scare me, you failed," he said, lifting his head to look at you. "Man, I can never scare you," you frowned. "You look good," you complimented him. You weren't lying, he had dyed his hair back to black, probably because of one of his seasonal breakdowns. His outfit was well-balanced, consisting of a white T-shirt underneath a black sweater vest, blue jeans, and white Air Forces.

"I should be saying that about you," he said, eyeing you up and down. "Now let's go, I have a surprise for you." He took your hand and led you towards the surprise. He guided you through a flower field that felt very familiar, a comfortable silence filling the air. You followed Keisuke through the flowers to a place you held close to your heart. Your eyes widened, and a gasp slipped out of your mouth as you saw a picnic set up at the spot where you two first fell in love. "Did you do all of this?" you asked him, eyes wide. "Do you like it?" he asked, a soft blush spreading across his face. "I love it," you said softly, your heart swelling with emotion. "Alright then let's eat" he said taking your hand again and leading you over to the blanket once you guys reached the blanket he gently sat both of you down. He reached behind him and brought a basket in front of both of your. He opened it and pulled a bunch of containers and pacs of candy out of it.

"Here are the options. Help yourself," he said, smiling at you. You looked over the spread and grabbed a random container. Opening it, you found brownies inside. You picked one up and took a bite, your eyes widening at how good they were—still warm and crunchy, so you assumed he made them that morning. "This is good. Did you make them?" you asked, looking at him. "I did," he said, blushing. "You have to give me the recipe," you said, taking another bite. "Maybe one day," he shrugged. You two sat there, enjoying each other's company as time went on, eating the delicious food he made and taking pictures. "Kei, look, the sun is setting," you said, pointing at the horizon.

You both watched in silence as the sun slowly went down, your back resting against his chest. "Hey, [Y/N], I've been meaning to ask you this for years, but I just couldn't find the right time. Now feels perfect. Can I be your boyfriend?" he asked, looking down at you. " yes you can," you said, looking into his eyes. You turned around to face him, and now you were both looking into each other's eyes, your faces just centimeters apart. You leaned in until your lips met his. He cupped your cheeks, and you placed your hands on his jaw as he tilted his head to deepen the kiss.

—MEANWHILE IN THE DISTANCE

"HE DID IT" takashi said excitedly "SWEAR HE DID?" Mina asked in disbelief "HE AINT LYING" Hana confirmed.
