Hey y'all! Here's the first chapter of beinteha do read , vote & comment!

DIYA'S POV

I bet no one hates mornings more than I do.

With a groan, I force myself out of bed, already dreading another day of college. The routine feels endless-wake up, get ready, go to classes, come back, repeat. Sometimes, I feel like I've been studying my entire life. Will I grow old before I even graduate?

Lucky are those who've already escaped this never-ending cycle. Like my elder brother-he's done with college, working with my father in our business, while my younger brother is still in school.

"Diya! Aaj jana hai ya nahi?" My mother's voice rings through the house, loud and impatient.

[Diya, are you going today or not?]

"Aarahi hoon, Ammi!"

[Coming, mother!]

I let out a sigh and push myself off the bed. Thankfully, I'm already dressed in a white co-ord set embroidered with delicate black patterns. Grabbing my dupatta, bag, and phone, I rush downstairs. I have this habit of getting ready early, then sneaking in a little extra sleep-probably not the best idea.

The house is quiet except for my mother and Dadi, who are sitting on the couches and talking about something with tea in their hands. Dad and Fawad Bhai are at the office, and Sarim, my younger brother, is at school.

"Ammi! Mere liye chai?!" I exclaim, as I am a tea lover who cannot go a day without it. But never mind, I am already late.

"Driver kabse khada hai, jaldi jao. Apna khayal rakhna." My mother urges as I step outside

[The driver's been waiting for a while-go quickly. And take care of yourself.]

"Why driver? I am going in my car." I say grabbing my keys.

"No, your dad wants you to go with him today. I don't know why, so do as I say."

That's weird, why would he say that?
Before I could argue further ammi is already giving me the look not to. So I leave.

I nod and hurry toward the car, only to be greeted by my uncle's usual irritated face.

"Itna late kar diya hai apne, Diya."

[You're so late today, Diya.]

Rolling my eyes, I smirk. "Acha? Ek din kya ho gaya, bas shuru ho gaye aap. Chalein, khamosh."

[Oh really?Just one time and you start complaining? Move along now.]

He shakes his head with a chuckle. "Acha theek hai. Ab kya maar dalogi mujhe?"

[Fine, fine. What now? Are you going to kill me?]

I ignored him and settled in for the ride, pulling out my book-not my college textbooks, obviously, but a novel I'd been meaning to read. Studying? Sure. Just not right now.

In fifteen minutes the car halts before my university.
National university of design and architecture.
One of the top universities in the country, it's actually good except for the torture of the teachers sometime.

The moment I reach campus, I switch off my phone and run toward my friends, pulling them into a tight hug.

"Aur batao, kya chal raha hai?"

[So, what's up?]

"You're late today," Sarah teases, while Alisha joins in. "Madam is usually so punctual-what happened?"

"Zyada muh mat chalao, tum dono. Aur has bhi kaun raha hai? Jo khud roz late aati hain." I counter.

[Don't talk too much, you two. And why are you laughing? You're late every day!]

"Okay calm down your highness, we have some tea." Said Sarah, her eyebrows wiggling which indicates another drama.

We bicker a little more before finally heading to class.

โ˜…

LATER THAT DAY

It's break time now, and we're all scrolling through our phones, barely paying attention to anything around us.

"Where are you guys heading for vacation?" Alisha asks, lazily flipping through her notes.

Sarah sighs dramatically. "Nowhere. My relatives from Canada are coming to stay with us. That girl-I just can't stand her."

I laugh at her misery before they both turn to me.

"And you?"

"Well, I really want to travel for a while. Maybe Dubai? I could stay at my Maasi's place. Or I'll ask Dad if we can go somewhere together-but that's highly unlikely."

Sarah suddenly perks up. "Isn't your Mamu in Turkey? You should go there! I've heard it's beautiful. And you're always running after your Maasi, switch it up a little."

I pause for a second. "It's been years since I last visited Mamu. Bhaiya went a few years ago, but he didn't take me. And every time I asked after that, they just kept saying he was busy. Mamu even said he'd call me himself if I could come."

Sarah and Alisha exchange a look. "Then maybe it's time you go uninvited," Alisha teases.

I laugh, shaking my head. If only it were that easy.

As we continue talking, Sarah pauses and looks behind me and Alisha follows her gaze.
I turn back to see Rehan.

Not again.

I roll my eyes and ignore while both of my best friends look at me and him.

"Diya, actually me and my group of friends are going to a cafe in the evening . I wonder if you can come." He said, and I sigh making it obvious.

Before I can deny he spoke again, "uh Alisha and Sarah can join too if they want to."

Can't this boy shut up, it's so annoying.

"Ho Gaya tumhara?"

[Are you done?]

He gave me a confused look, while my best friends knew what was coming. "How many times are you going to ask the same thing? My answer will be the same. Go bother someone else." I said.

"Kis baat ka itna ghamand hai tumhe Diya?" The audacity of this bastard.

[What is the attitude for?]

"If you think this is attitude Mr. Then I am sure you haven't seen what real one is."

And I left before he could bother me more, everyone knows how this guy is, a big playboy.

A damn nuisance.

โ˜…

I drag myself home after an exhausting day, barely finishing lunch before collapsing onto my bed. But I can't just sleep my time away-so I decide to hit the gym.

Throwing on sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt, I head downstairs.

"So, you finally left your cocoon?" Fawad Bhai taunts as soon as he spots me.

I smirk. "Were you waiting for me or what?"

He rolls his eyes.

Before I can respond, Ammi chimes in. "Bade bhai se aise baat nahi karte, Diya."

[You shouldn't talk to your elder brother like that, Diya.]

Typical.

If I say something to Fawad Bhai, I'm told to respect my elder. If I say something to Sarim, I'm told to be patient because he's younger.

What about me?

Of course, I don't bother arguing. There's no point.

I head to the gym, my mood already sour.

ARZANE'S POV

Yilmaz industry based in Antalya on fire.

I read the article which is the breaking news today.

Thanks to me.

I burned the industry which one day or another was to be mine, but it doesn't matter.
Anything for revenge.

Mr. Selim must be pissed off.

Great.

"Mr. Yilmaz, Toplantฤฑya katฤฑlmadฤฑฤŸฤฑn iรงin baban รผzgรผn."

[Mr. Yilmaz, your father is upset that you missed the meeting.]

Emir's voice drags me out of my thoughts. I let out a long sigh. Of course, he's upset. That's his favorite hobby.

I shut my laptop and lean back in my chair. "Peki, onu mutlu etmeli miyim?"

[So, should I make him happy?]

Emir doesn't even hesitate. "No, sir."

I nod. "Tell him to keep his problems away from me. I have work to do."

Emir leaves without another word.

He knows who's behind this obviously.

My father, Selim Yilmaz, is at the top of my list of people I hate but haven't buried yet. I despise being his blood.

Yet, despite everything, I can't kill him.
Not yet.

A notification pops up on my phone. A message from Zaran.

Zaran: Both are burning in rage.

I smirk at the text.

Me: Well, our work is done.

Zaran and I aren't much different. His father, Ayaz Malik, is my father's second-in-command. While Zaran is consigliere in my syndicate.

Inferno Syndicate.

I carved my own path, built my own empire-separate from my father's. Though, in the end, the Yilmaz empire is mine, too. I'm just waiting for him to die.

And my brother? Well, he stays out of this mess. Good for him. At least one of us doesn't have blood on his hands.

I stand up, straighten my suit, and head out of AY Internationals.

Sliding into my Bugatti Chiron, I signal my men to take a different route. Tonight, I don't want company.

I park near a familiar lake-one I've visited since I was thirteen. The city's chaos doesn't reach here. It's quiet. Isolated.

For a few minutes, I enjoy the silence. Then my phone rings.

Arhaan.

My younger brother.

I answer. "Hello, Arhaan."

"Abi, how are you?"

[Brother, how are you?]

He pauses before adding, "I need your help."

โ˜…

It's been two months since Diya's exams ended and she has been hanging out with her friends lately, watching her favorite shows and reading all the books she had been waiting to read.

But an idea popped in her head, she was bored and not interested in staying at home, so she called her cousin.

Zaran.

"BHAI!" She said excitedly, Zaran has always been special to her, she couldn't share a few things with her own brothers that she shares with her.

"Diyu, How are you?" He asked, it's not everyday they talk as both are always busy in their lives.

"What How are you? You forget me now, don't act." She said.

"You aren't someone who can be forgotten Diya."

"Yeh baat toh sahi kaha aapne bhai." she said

[Rightly said brother. ]

"You know I have been missing you so much and I am bored here. How's mamu? I talk to Selin Mami but you both are always busy."

"I called to inform you that I am coming to turkey." She said, waiting for his reply as for the past few years nobody let her go.

Zaran paused for sometime- "We spoke about it Diyu-"

She groaned, "Bhai I won't come to your house if you don't want, I am sure there are many hotels there."

She said frustrated.

"Calm down Madam, you think you'll come here and not stay with your bhai?"

"Your choice, but I am coming."

"Of course diyu, it's your home too-"
Zaran signed, there's so much going on there that she doesn't know. But again he cannot keep ignoring this forever.

"Okay Diyu, I'll be waiting. I am sure you booked so send me the flight details."

Diya screams internally with happiness.

Unaware of the chaos waiting for her.

Diya's house

Arzane's cabin
