chiron widened his eyes slightly when he realized who he was talking to.

"oooor." he tried to remedy the situation that he knew would have brought him closer to retirement than he planned. "maybe lord hermes will deliver it soon?" he corrected himself.

it was too late for that.

hope heard his first sentence and the cogs in her head began to work. a smile appeared on her face and her eyes regained their sparkle.

"damn it! you are brilliant, boss!"

"oh. my gods..." chiron whispered terrified.

"i just need to get to england! i'll definitely get a letter from hogwarts in there!"

chiron rubbed his face. he shouldn't have said anything. and by the horrified way that luke was looking at his girlfiriend and daughter's sudden joy, he guesses that the young man felt the same thing.

"i'm sure lord hermes will bring you a le-" before he could finish hope interrupted him.

one, because she didn't want to talk about that god in the presence of her father figure and, two, because she just didn't believe it to be true.

"what are you saying, sir? he would bring me a letter? he's busy as tartarus!" she yelled and waved her hand in which she still held a letter. she made sure not to say the god's name. "no need for you, boss, to belittle your genius." she smiled sheepishly and smacked chirons arm. immedietly after that, she wiped it slightly flustered.

"and how will you get there, hope?" chiron tried to change her mind by pointing out a flaw in her plan.

"oh..." hope squinted her eyes wondering about transportation.

chiron thought for a moment that he had managed to change her mind, but he could guess after so many years of knowing her that it was impossible. because whenever she was in trouble or had a problem, dean was there to help her out. and even if they weren't related by blood, they just were so similar to each other, like a real mother-daughter duo.

"oi!" dean exclaimed happy with herself that she was able to help hope. "on a ship, of course. i'm sure poseidon won't be offended."

chiron sighed knowing that the water god would indeed not be offended. he wasn't angry when dean and dionysus were swimming on lama's beach boats all day. he surely wouldn't be angry at them now.

"we'll take charlie! and travis and connor! silena will surely want to visit shops in london! maybe annabeth will want to go as well! to see those arches and stuff for herself. oooh! i have an idea!" hope rambled.

seeing her happy and knowing that she dreamed of studying at the school where her mother had studied, chiron decided to let her go to london and see if she would be accepted to the english school of magic. if she wasn't, she could still go to the american school but he had a feeling that's not where she would be studying. all that was needed now was to plan a route as soon as possible and pray to lord hermes for a smooth and quickly trip. but knowing hope and her friends and especially dean... yeah, chiron felt like in a second he had grown another grey hair.

i don't like this chapter much but meh we have to start with something. i think that yesterday's querencia chapter wore me out

so to make things clear.

hope is not luke's and dean's real daughter and she doesn't call them mom or dad. but they practically raised her and everyone at camp knows that they are a family. 

luke and dean are together. not married or sth. but just a couple. childhood crushes, teenage sweethearts. and they have been together for a long time now.

arcane is story about hope, but i wrote a little bit more here about dean and luke and they relationship because i want to show you their dynamics.

i hope that you will like this book. and i can't wait for charlie and hope to met.

also yes mr d and dean are besties.
