A little blonde boy suddenly ran into the junk shop from the backyard of the store, catching not only his owner's attention, but also the attention of Queen Amidala, who stared at him with prolonged curiosity, tilting her head once more.
"Coona tee-tocky malia?" The Toydarian hovering in the air asked to the young boy, wondering what took him so long.
The dirty young boy climbed over the counter top, sitting on it while cleaning some sort of spare part.
"Mel tassa cho-passa," the boy dismissed, waving his hand towards the horrible slave owner, claiming that he was cleaning the trash bin, just as his owner had ordered him to do.
"Chut-Chut!" The Toydarian cut the young boy off, gesturing towards the group in the middle of his store, "Ganda doe wallya. Me dwana no bata."
The shopkeeper had told him to watch the store as he made a sell.
The blue alien turned to Qui-Gon as he stated, "Soooo, let me take a thee out back. Ni you'll find what you need."
The older Jedi nodded at the blue alien and turned to Jar Jar, who was playing with a piece of metal on the shelf next to him. Qui-Gon yanked the hunk of metal out of the childish Gungan's hands, slightly glaring at Jar Jar and his hyperactive hands.
"Don't touch anything," the Jedi Master ordered sternly as he looked towards the older Naberrie sister and nodded his head towards the door, gesturing for her to come with him. The Gungan, as soon as the Jedi Master turned his back to him, stuck his tongue and hands out in a childish manner, mocking the older Jedi from behind his back.
Padmรฉ turned towards her little sister, taking her by her small shoulders and squeezing them encouragingly.
"We'll only be gone a couple seconds," Padmรฉ affirmed as she turned to her sister, who was still looking around the shop in complete wonder at all the different types of parts and mechanics around her, "Please don't get yourself into any trouble. I know you can get a little too curious about certain things."
The little girl turned to her sister and gave her a deadpan expression, her little arms crossed tightly in front of her chest and her right hip jutted out.
Padmรฉ softly chuckled at her little sister's attitude, liking when her sister had just an ounce of fun and freedom.
"I do not get into trouble due to my curiosity!" The little brunette protested, throwing her hands up in a dramatic gesture, "Mother always says my curiosity makes me unique!"
Padmรฉ grinned wildly at the little Queen.
"Whatever you say, Missy."
The older girl moved past her sister, ruffling her already messy hair from the sharp Tatooine wind.
With that, Padmรฉ moved through the archway to the backyard with one last look to her sister, who had quit her cute pouting and taken to looking around curiously at the shop again, her bewildered green eyes exploding with wonder in them.
The older Naberrie smiled softly, before going outside to meet with Watto and Qui-Gon.
Unbeknownst to the Naberrie sisters, the young slave boy had been watching the encounter the entire time, particularly watching the girl his age in the braids. He was utterly fascinated by her and her enchanting beauty.
The young boy was even more invested when the girl turned toward a stack of parts in his direction and he caught a glimpse of her eyes.
He was utterly hooked as soon as he caught sight of the vibrant green. He's never seen anything in his life even remotely green, yet alone a gorgeous girl's otherworldly green eyes. He imagined they looked like the fields on Prairia or Naboo, planets he's heard pilots who were refueling talking about. They apparently were green, beautiful planets many chose to live on once they got out of places like Tatooine or Jakku. Perhaps the young slave boy would live on one of those places when he grew older. Or maybe Alderaan, a planet with large and spacious mountains.
But nothing in that moment mattered to him more than the young girl with the wonderful green eyes in the junk store he was forced to work for.
The girl was undoubtedly the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in his young nine years.
"Are you an angel?" The young slave asked as he plucked up the courage and intently stared at the girl he thought came from heaven, perhaps to sweep him and his mother away from the horrors of Tatooine and slave life, away from Watto.
The male voice caused beautiful Clarissรฉ's ears to perk up, making her turn towards the very surprising sound, as it had been silent a few moments prior.
The sound led her to look towards the counter of Watto's shop, the little blonde slave boy sitting on it, his intense blue eyes looking straight at her.
"What?" The young girl questioned, tilting her head in a way that looked adorable to the young blonde boy, her green eyes scanning over his face while her long braids fell once more off her tiny shoulders.
"An angel," the slave replied, smiling at her gently, watching the dim light from the oil lamps above the two reflect themselves into the young queen's miraculous eyes, "I've heard the deep space pilots talk about them. They're the most beautiful creatures in the universe. They live on the Moons of Iego, I think. You're very beautiful, so I'm assuming you're one of them."
The young queen blushed at the boy's compliment, the pink rushing to her porcelain cheeks like a wild fire. She was partially speechless, as no one had complimented her like the young boy in front of her had.
"You're a funny little boy," she commented, still flustered and not fully knowing what to say to the young boy in front of her, "but that's okay. I'm a funny little girl, myself. How do you know so much?"
"I listen to all the traders and star pilots that come by here," the young slave replied as he continued to clean to piece of metal in his tiny lap, his eyes still glued to the gorgeous girl in front of him, "I'm a pilot, you know," the young boy imputed, feeling the need to brag to the young queen, "and some day I'm gonna fly away from this place."
"You're a pilot?" The young brunette questioned, leaning forward while making eye contact.
"All my life." The boy gave a proud grin at the end, showing his pearly white teeth in their entirety.
"How long have you been here?" The green eyed girl asked as she moved closer to the boy, wanting to know more about him.
"Since I was very little, three, I think," he proclaimed, tilting his head as he thought about it, his blonde waves falling into his eyes, "My mom and I were sold to Gardulla the Hutt, but she lost us, betting on the pod races."
The young queen did not like the sound of that, as no human being should be "sold" to another. His statement made her feel horrible for him and the rest of the people living on Tatooine.
"You're a slave?" She questioned gently, hoping to not offend him too much, seeing as if he was a slave he would have already gone through enough insensitive comments to begin with.
Much to the girl's prediction, the young slave boy puffed up his cheeks in defiance, not angry with her, just angry at the mention of his slave life. He figured he could never be angry at someone as beautiful as her.
"I am a person and my name is Anakin! Anakin Skywalker!" He exclaimed, glaring at a dirty oil spot on the dinged up counter, a deep scowl settling over his youthful features.
The young queen frowned lightly at the boy her age, not wanting to upset him more.
"I'm sorry," she whispered softly, the little boy looking up with surprise at the softness of her feminine voice, "I didn't mean to hurt you, I just don't understand very well. I've never really been in a place like this before. It's a strange place to me."
The young slave boy studied the young queen intently, his piercing blue eyes staring into her glowing green ones.
"What's your name?" He questioned softly, desperate to put a name to the beautiful face of the girl in Watto's shop.
The Queen of Naboo raised a dainty eyebrow curiously, until the strip of brunette hair on her forehead lowered and she smiled kindly at the small boy on the dirty counter in Watto's shop.
"Clarissรฉ. Clarissรฉ Naberrie."

A/N: Hello! Sorry for the somewhat delayed update. This chapter took the longest and is pretty long. You're welcome and sorry! I don't know when the next chapter will be out but I promise it won't take too long. Also, I love Qui-Gon. He's a fucking icon in the universe, man. Got a little Clarissรฉ and Mr. Grey Jedi moment over here. Goodbye now!
Fun Fact: Qui-Gon always knew that Clarissรฉ was Queen, but he specifically knew when she talked to him in the desert. There, he knew how special the little girl he was escorting truly was.
