"I don't know about you, but I think there's something between us." Ryujin commented smirking at stupid pun.

It made Y/n giggle freely but a blush crept on her face. "Sorry I should have been more careful.....thanks."

"It's alright, I will take it I've got a good grip on it. Grab a smaller one." Ryujin replied lightly while Y/n slowly loosened her grip.

She waited for Y/n to pick up another box before they began their way down to the truck. "Hey I like you style by the way. Actually a few things about you remind me of Jeongyeon." Y/n stated complimenting her new friend.

"Oh thanks, I just threw anything on. Really? Why is that?" Ryujin answered amused a touch at the comparison.

"Well it still looks good. Yeah, some of your features are similar you could almost pass for sisters. Also you seem calm, but I think the others told me you can be a trickster which is also very Jeongyeon." Y/n pointed out while Ryujin thought about it she could see where Y/n was coming from.

"I can't tell if that's a compliment. Jeongs an idiot, im not." Ryujin playfully retorted cheekily smiling as her dimples showed.

Y/n saw her dimples, that was a cute surprise to her. Her friends weren't wrong, she's finding Ryujin to have a pull to her. "Trust me it's a compliment, I guess I will find out if there is any truth to that comment. We will see if you're indeed an idiot or not." Y/n jested, a small chuckle escaping from Ryujin.

"Oh how old is Minji by the way? When she came in before she went to me thinking I was you." Ryujin remembered fondly.

The two of them had got sidetracked at the van having a conversation getting to know each other.

"Oh really? I heard her shout but I didn't realise she'd mistaken you for me, that's funny. She's 5." Y/n said.

"She's tall for 5, so what are you doing hanging out with these childless morons? You've got like 4 extra kids." Ryujin laughed also making Y/n giggle.

"Well.....other than Chaer we all met in college. Momo and Jihyo met Chaer through dance stuff which you know. Yeah they do act like children sometimes but I also got Jihyo to help keep them in line. To be honest Minji loves them they are like cool aunts to her." Y/n explained.

"Ahh....I see, yeah it just occurred to me that Chaer didn't really tell me much about you. I cant believe we havent met until now. Must be tough being the only one with a kid?......on the other hand.....by the time they have kids Minji will be old enough to be independent and not need as much supervision. Then you can rub it in their faces when the girls have babies, terrible twos and all that." Ryujin rambled keeping the conversation going, luckily it was a nice day it was refreshing just standing outside for a while.

"Yeah I can't believe we haven't met either, you are really easy to talk to. I'm sure Minji will like you aswell......it can be especially for meeting up." Y/n smiled and was about to continue when Jihyo waltzed outside. "YAH! YOU SLACKERS GET BACK TO WORK."

At the sudden loud voice Y/n tensed while Ryujin didn't bat an eye giving Jihyo an unimpressed face.

"Wipe that look off your face, before I do it myself." Jihyo threatened playfully punching her own palm.

"Sheesh.....violent much. Yes my lord." Ryujin muttered sarcastically as she went past Jihyo she exaggerated a bow on standing back upright she patted Jihyos head gently as she was taller, before sprinting back into the house giggling. Jihyo was left grumbling to herself, Y/n was amused and put an arm around Jihyos shoulder walking back inside.

"You can kill her later Ji, we need her right now." Y/n chuckled at Jihyos pouty frown. With Y/n demeanor Jihyo noticed a slight change from earlier in the day when she was a bit subdued. Now she almost seemed contented, the smaller one was wondering if Ryujin already had an impact on her mood.

A little while after the van was packed to the brim with the contents of Y/n house, Mingyu had already left while Y/n and Minji drove the van and the rest followed in their cars.

Once at the new house which was slightly smaller, it was time to do everything again but in reverse. "Guys I promise I will treat you to a well earned meal for spending your day helping me." Y/n announced feeling guilty for then sacrificing a day on the weekend.

"Aslong as its good food I don't care." Momo stated.

We're good friends Y/n it's what we do, but that doesn't mean we won't turn down free food." Jeongyeon added.

"Me too! me too!" Came a cute voice wanting in on the free food.

"Minji, no matter what you get free food anyways. I suppose you can tag along too." Y/n lightly told her looking at her sweetly, it was clear Minji was a huge factor in Y/ns happiness.

"Yayy! I be with my favourite aunts." She beamed bouncing away to wait at the front door.

Unloading took half the time, it was just a matter of putting the boxes in the right rooms for now and everyone helped to move the big furniture items into the house for a more speedy process.

Once the big items were in place the group of friends said their goodbye leaving Y/n to begin sorting through boxes.

It was a couple of days later when Ryujin went shopping, she was beat after a long day helping the move so Sunday was a lazy day. So now she is shopping on a weekday after work, idly walking through isles getting necessities but seeing if anything else took her fancy.

With the trolley in front of her she was glancing at some cereals when she felt a thud from behind.

"Umpff...."

Ryujin turned around and recognised the little girl immediately. "Hey kiddo, you are getting a habit of running into me." She warmly smiled as she bent down. "Are you okay?"

Minji shook it off, eyeing Ryujin sceptically for a few seconds before it clicked in her little brain that she wasn't a stranger.

"R...Ry....Rujin." Minji stuttered trying to pronounce her name.

"Ryujin......close, but you can call me Ryu if its easier okay." Ryujin offered sweetly and the girl nodded quickly grasping her stuffed animal.

"Where's your mommy? I don't think your old enough to be shopping on your own." She chuckled looking all around for Y/n then from the end of the Isle she saw Y/n scanning around frantically until her eyes landed on Minji. She jogged over not even seeing Ryujin yet and got down on one knee checking over Minji. "Minji, what did I tell you about wandering off in shops. You had me worried and we don't talk to strangers." She got out frantically.

"I didn't mean too......I turned around and couldn't find you. I wa....wasn't talking to strangers.....its Ryu." Minji stumbled over her words with her head down.

Ryujin let a grin grace her lips at the nickname before her eyes caught Y/ns who was now standing back up.

"Hi...." Ryujin let out quietly admiring Y/ns slightly smarter look, compared to the casual attire she was wearing the other day.

"Hi Ryujin.....its good to see you and I'm glad its you Minji bumped into atleast." Y/n spoke with relief in her voice.

"How's the unpacking going? Do you need a hand?" Ryujin asked politely.

Y/n appreciated the offer. "It's going......I've tried to get the bedrooms sorted first so we can sleep comfortably......but there's still so much to do. I mean only if you aren't busy I don't like asking for favours." Y/n cautiously replied.

"I'm totally happy to help, I don't have much going on at the minute to be honest. So it would get me out the house." Ryujin shrugged nonchalantly. "I can come tomorrow evening if you want?"

Y/n smiled not taking much time to agree. "Sure that would be great, Minji is with her dad tomorrow so that works out."

"Great! Hey Minji while we are here I need some cereal and I can't pick. What do you say you help me out and pick any 3 boxes of your choice?" Ryujin answered then turned her attention to Minji placing a hand gently on the top of her head. Her face lit up at getting a fun task and stood in front of all the cereal with wide eyes.

Y/n eyes glossed over Ryujin, she was glad Minji liked Ryujin straight away. She was actually quite surprised at her being single now that shes more acquainted. Ryujin turned her head slightly away from Minji and briefly locked eyes at Y/n catching her in the act, she quirked an eyebrow with a cute smirk and it made Y/n blush.

"Here's one!" Minji came over shaking the box interrupting the moment. "I can't reach the other one." Minji whined and took Ryujin away from Y/n.

She pointed to the 3rd shelf hopping and let Ryujin grab it before going back to the bottom shelf for some brightly coloured packaging taking the box out and bringing it to Ryujin. "Number 3!" She grinned showing her teeth.

"Alright good job! You saved me some trouble.....high five!" Ryujin praised raising her hand and Minji went to give her one but Ryujin moved it at the last minute. Switching her hand so her thumb rested on the tip of her nose while her fingers were pointing upwards as she wiggled them pulling a funny face at Minji. "Nah nah nunnah nah....." Ryujin teased.

Luckily for her Minji giggled and grabbed Ryujin hand bringing it back down as she joined in chuckling. "Meanie!!" Minji squealed happily.

"You're just like Aunt Jeongy." The child said.

"Whaa.....even she sees it too." Ryujin turned her head back facing Y/n who laughed.

"I told you."

"I guess I will see you tomorrow....? Oh wait I need your number." Ryujin said pulling her phone out she typed a few things into the phone before handing it to Y/n.

Y/n took it and began typing the number before she noticed the display name and and blushed once more. "Pretty E/C eyes?"

"Yes.....there are many things I could have put after pretty, I chose eyes though." Ryujin confidently flirted only making it tougher on Y/n to keep composed.

She typed the rest of the number in and handed the phone back bashfully. "Thank you...."

Ryujin chuckled. "I will see you tomorrow.....I will text you.......Goodbye Minji thank you for the cereal!"

"Bye Ryu!" She happily said and they both went their separate ways finishing their shopping.

I didn't set out talking to her to get in her pants.....I just got to know her a little bit and I bumped into her at the supermarket today. Guess I'm going over tomorrow 🤷🏼‍♀️my flirting skills did not desert me

It was the next day Ryujin had texted Y/n in the morning to organise a time to come over, she would be heading over after work and was going to bring takeout.

After freshening up at home Ryujin picked up the takeout and drove to Y/ns new address. She knocked on the door, a few moments later it opened revealing Y/n still in her work attire a pencil skirt and a white blouse but with a few buttons undone at the top. Ryujin did a double take she looked hot in her work clothes.

"Hey Y/n, I brought the takeout." She greeted shaking her thoughts.

"Hi Ryujin, you didn't have to do that you know especially as you're the one helping me." Y/n greeted pointing to the food while Ryujin brushed it off and entered the house.

The pair quickly got acquainted and began eating out the containers as the kitchen was still needing attention with boxes still packed.

"I've managed to do a tiny bit more in the living room, we can finish that off then do the kitchen tonight?" Y/n proposed, Y/n kind of got the jitter when Ryujin appeared at her front door she was effortlessly cool and even a small thing like the way she brushed her fingers through her hair, Y/n was finding it really attractive.

"Sounds good." Ryujin lightly replied

"We don't have to finish it, if it's getting late. Any little helps I'm sick of living out of boxes its only been a few days." Y/n moaned letting out a sigh.

"I don't mind staying late, like I said I don't have much going on at the minute and you actually don't live that far away. Also....I don't like leaving things incomplete, it's satisfying knowing you've finished something." Ryujin let out with a hint of suggestion in there whether Y/n picked up on it she doesn't know.

It was merely a few seconds later that the words registered with Y/n, she almost choked on her noodles and tried to play it off. Whether it was her dirty mind or not Mingyu didn't really satisfy her on the whole he was a selfish lover, she was wondering if that's what Ryujin had hinted at.

There was small chit chat while they ate the rest of the food and then set about their task. The contents of the boxes in the living room were emptied, although Ryujin didn't exactly know where some personal items were going she used logic for the rest.

"You like to read?" Ryujin asked interested as she had almost placed half the books on the shelving unit and there was quite a varying genre.

"Ehh.......half and half really. I go through phases of reading alot then barely anything. I'm currently in non reading phase. What about you?" Y/n replied

Continuing her job as she talked. "Never been much of a reader, I've always appreciated it though. My place isn't that big anyway so don't have much storage. I maybe have 2 shelves of books most of them are randomly acquired or study type book from college."

In no time all the books were shelved, Ryujin had gone to look in another box and found framed pictures. "Hey this one has pictures in, you are better for that one I don't want to put them in the wrong place." She did notice a few baby pictures which see assumed was Minji and there was also a picture from college of the girls. "Wow that one's a throwback." Ryujin called out showing said picture.

Y/n laughed at the photo and brought back memories of only stressing about exams and superficial things. "Ahh the simpler life......those were good years." Y/n reminisced smiling. "And yeah don't worry about that box."

"Everyone had a serious glow up.......bet you guys were popular." Ryujin commented eyeing the photo some more.

"Momo and Jihyo were.....it was like those 2 had been plucked straight out a movie or something. Surely you attracted alot of attention right?" Y/n lightly replied shaking her head.

"Chaer has told me a couple of stories, I would uave loved to have gone to college with you guys!........me? I don't know how to answer that, I would hate to sound cocky......." Ryujin answered.

Y/n smirked finished with her box and headed over to the box Ryujin was at sifting through carefully. "So thats a yes........I'd be curious aswell if you had been in our year." Y/n spoke.

"I mean I got attention pretty much as soon as semester started. At that point though I knew who I was but I wasn't out yet. After I came out in second year people were drawn to me more. I didn't really want it though, I was trying to just get through college being popular wasn't on my list." Ryujin explained.

The living room got finished up pretty quick after that and the duo moved onto the kitchen.

"Do you want a drink?" Y/n offered.

"Yes just water is fine thanks." Ryujin said, Y/n went to the fridge and pulled out two water bottles and she thanked her.

A couple of boxes had smaller electric appliances in like rice maker and air fryer, Ryujin set to work laying them out while Y/n grabbed a box with crockery in. She opened it on the bench then hopped up and sat on the bench.

Each item wrapped in protective paper, she slowly unwrapped each item. "So did you play the field at college?" Y/n probed placing a glass in the cupboard next to her.

Ryujin chuckled at the change in question. "No I didn't sleep around, there was plenty option too, I didn't want to be a fuckgirl. I only had a few one night stands.....I had a certain standard of girl I guess."

Y/n began throwing the wasted paper on the floor from each piece of crockery, she would pick it all up later. "Interesting.......I didn't either. I was in a relationship for alot of college anyway. Can I ask what the standard was?" Raising an eyebrow her eyes holding an allure to them. Ryujin took in the woman she was looking more appealing by the minute, alot of her legs were on show due to the skirt riding up she jad to stop herself biting her lip.

"You can......it wasn't just about looks.....if I was going to sleep with a girl they had to be a genuine and nice person. I also made it clear I wasn't looking for a relationship in college, so if I got to know them I made sure they knew that. They couldn't be a fuckgirl either or be drunk......" Ryujin carefully described finished with the appliances, she now found herself in a strange situation.

If she was reading the signs right Y/n was asking these question on purpose and being deliberate in her actions. Taking a sip of water she then started talking again. "I guess I just didn't want to sleep with someone for the sake of sleeping with someone or just because they were hot. I wanted some kind of connection if that makes sense."

"No it make sense......can I tell you something?" Y/n responded and Ryujin nodded to continue.

"Our lovely friends took it upon themselves to try and set us up.......I just wanted to be honest unless you already knew that. They thought it was time I got back out there even for some fun......." Y/n hesitantly told Ryujin who just laughed it off.

"I didn't know but that explains their behaviour the other day........" Ryujin had gravitated within touching distance of Y/n. "Trust them to scheme like that. So......some fun......?" Ryujin trailed off suggestively.

"I thought unpacking boxes was.....fun.......I don't know about you?" Y/n spoke with some sarcasm now totally neglecting the half emptied box
