one laughed.

Transmutate attempted to ready it's beam at Primal for hurting Rampage, but Silverbolt crawled towards it and said "No, stop! We... are your...friends." He crawled holding Transmutate's hand.

"Hurt?" Transmutate tried to comprehend Silverbolt's damaged condition.

"Yes, he is hurt. Badly. But, I can help him. I must get him to the base to be repaired." Primal approached "And you too..." as Transmutate carried Silverbolt.

All while Rampage is slowly breaking out of the boulder smothering him. "Give him to me, I'll fly him to be repaired." Primal suggested.

"Fly?" Transmutate unfurled a crystal that allowed it to take to the sky. "Fly!"

The Aerialbots and Starscream dropped their jaws to the floor.

"And now it can fly?! Fantastic, what else can't it do next?!" Starscream complained.

"Now isn't that just prime!" Primal commented, relieved of not having to do all the lifting by himself.

"Fly..." Transmutate muttered aloud as it began to fly, with Primal following.

Rampage broke out of the boulder but saw Primal escorting the airborne Transmutate, cursing "No, you will not have it Optimus. The darkness of its Spark echoes my own. It belongs with me!"

"Someone's acting like the jealous mate here." Warpath teased.

Aboard the Axalon where Silverbolt is making a recovery, Rhinox was scanning and analyzing Transmutate, until he was finished.

"That will do for now." Rhinox concluded.

"Wonder what fearless Leader found out about the Fireplug?" Rattrap asked.

"Uh, Rat-Face." Cheetor pointed out when Transmetal then stared upon Rattrap.

"Uh, no offense. Whatever you are." Rattrap nervously excused himself.

"I don't blame Rat-boy there. I'd felt the same if I had that thing move close to me." Grimlock stated.

"Same here." said Ironhide.

"And here." agreed Wheeljack.

"What did the tests show?" Silverbolt asked.

"Well, its datatrax are scrambled beyond recovery, its structure is a nightmare and its logic circuits are barely at the level of a drone. Coupled with its sheer power. It's a danger to itself and everyone around it." Primal clarified.

Transmutate looked down and walked away.

"Best thing for us all would be to... put it in stasis lock, immediately." Rhinox suggested.

Silverbolt frowned. He questioned "Are we Predacons now? Do we destroy whatever does not fit our definition of perfection?"

Perceptor and Ratchet facepalmed in embarassment.

"Is he really so stuck into his sense of honor and chivalry that he disregards the more reasonable and sensible decisions?" Ratchet asked.

"That may likely be so, Ratchet." Perceptor replied.

"Well, uh, he might have mistook it as the Maximals attempting to experiment on it or something..." Silverbolt tried to defend the incident.

"Or he didn't realize that it's required to ensure it becomes more sentient, Bolt." Jetfire pointed out.

As Transmutate walked around the halls of the Axalon... it heard a voice... "Transmutate. It is me, your friend. I'm very near. Follow my signal. Come to me. Come..." it was Rampage calling from afar on the outskirts of the Axalon.

"Fly!" Transmutate smashed through the hull of the Axalon to meet it's friend.

"What in Primus' name... how did it do that?!" asked Bulkhead.

"It's extremely powerful Bulk. Yet Primal's right, it is dangerous to itself and to anyone around it." Sideswipe answered.

"Then again, Mr. Crabs out there was able to calm it down without risking it's weapons to fire at him." Jazz pointed out.

[Alert! Hull breach in section 7.] the Axalon's systems set off.

"Whoo-oh! Looks like the nutty erector set took a walk!" Rattrap notified.

"Yeah, we all saw that, Rattrap." Arcee spoke normally.

"Fool!" Silverbolt spat out for what he perceived as a villainous act "You're all fools!" and walked off to investigate.

"Silverbolt, wait!" Cheetor called.

"Maybe it's better if he cools off." Primal asked. "But I want Transmutate found. Let's move it!" he ordered.

Transmutate then flew to where Rampage was at. He rejoiced seeing it again. "I knew you wouldn't fail me. We are two of a kind. We belong together."

"Stop!!!" Silverbolt interrupted. Rampage looked behind to see the Fuzor.

"Talk about punctuality." Barricade commented.

"This one is not for you." Silverbolt declared.

"Fight! Fight! Fight!" demanded the Dinobots.

"DO IT MAXIE-BOLT! BREAK THAT CRAB'S SHELL!" Grimlock cheered.

"BREAK HIM TO METAL FRAGMENTS!" Silverbolt cheered next.

"It is only for me!" Rampage retorted.

He raised his fists to smash Silverbolt, but the knightly Maximal dodged and attempted to tackle at Rampage, but the latter just laughed it off as Silverbolt instead bounced off him. Rampage kicked Silverbolt to the edge of the cliff. The latter looked at the depth but in time he saw the psychotic Predacon attempting to stomp him. He grabbed his foot and struggled to push Rampage back, while Transmutate witnesses in sadness seeing its friends fighting each other.

Silverbolt then threw Rampage off the cliff, prompting Rampage to grab his wing, sending both falling off the cliff, where they separated before a rock that separated them and sent them skidding across different walls.

Transmutate stared as both of its friends were slowly getting up, muttering "No hurt..."

"Aww... I want to hug it and tell it it's okay..." Bumblebee cooed.

"You're acting weird, Bumblebee." Smokescreen reminded.

"Hush! Let me enjoy this!" Bumblebee silenced.

"Hehehehe, typical of you, bro." Cliffjumper chuckled.

"Time to go back to the Matrix, hero!" Rampage taunted and prepared his weapon at Silverbolt. As they fired, Transmutate yelled "NO!" jumping down the crevasse to stop their fighting by emitting an energy shield that stopped their projectiles after they fired at each other.

"Primus, NO!" Silverbolt shouted.

"Transmutate!" Rampage yelled.

Both were now horrified.

The Autobots gasped.

"What is it doing?!" Bumblebee exclaimed holding his head in panic.

"It wants Rampage and Silverbolt to stop fighting." Prime said morosely.

"But it's going to destroy itself stepping in between the two!" Smokescreen exclaimed next.

"Stop!" Transmutate shouted, but it began expanding much power than it normally should have as lightning fueled the shield into overdrive, causing the projectiles to disintegrate as it caused a barrier of energy to dissapate... but in the process... it fell apart, dying...

Bumblebee fainted, prompting Cliffjumper to catch him.

Everyone laid still in shock, some with their mouths open in reaction.

Horrified, Rampage inspected upon Transmutate, who began to mutter it's last words. "Friend...good..." referring to Silverbolt "friend...dark..." referring to Rampage. "I...am...hurt..."

Then it's closed it's eyes smiling.

If manly tears were on the Combaticons part, it would be right now. They were not heartless after all.

Wracked with grief and pain of the loss of his friend, Rampage screamed out of anguish.

Primal and Cheetor appeared, apparently too late. "I'm sorry." Primal gave his condolences.

"It's over. It's gone." Silverbolt spoke silently. "We extinguished its Spark before we ever saw it's true light."

"You better return to base. Cheetor and I will take care of Rampage." Primal suggested.

Yet Rampage did not seem to even attack the Maximals out of anger, far too busy mourning for his lost friend.

No one dared to break the grieving stage at the moment, for they were shocked at the loss of a young spark not even a year old.

"No." Silverbolt refused. "Let him be. For the moment...we are brothers." as he shared the grief with Rampage. Both were guilty of one thing.

They had murdered a young protoform in their battle. One that would never even have a future to begin with.

The Orb suddenly cuts off, as Omega Scion permitted everyone to leave the theater to deal with the grief and trauma while it is fresh in their circuitry.
