"On the contrary, I know all about the Probe from Cybertron, and I mean to see you don't contact it." Megatron then gives the order "Predacons, ATTACK!"

"Blow open their yellow-plated hides, Maximals!" Warpath cheered.

The Predacons began their assault. Scattering the Maximals.

Dinobot recovers and charges at the Predacons, but the Transformation Lock Lens fires at Dinobot forcing him back to Beast Mode, when he got close enough, Blackarachnia quickly dispatches him with a flurry of kicks at his face.

"Impressive little toy, isn't it?" she asked pointing her crossbow at the downed Dinobot.

"Nobody does that to my team sister!" Rattrap quickly got up and fired a barrage of shots at Blackarachnia, slowly knocking her down to a cliff edge, until the last one does send her down to the cliff.

"Pow! Got that sneaky little bug! That rat's got my approval!" Warpath commented.

"Take it easy kiddo. It ain't over yet. The Preds are still kicking with that lens thing." Ironhide countered.

"Come on Maximals! Beat these Preda-creeps back to the scrap-hole they came!" Grimlock cheered.

"Dinobot -Maximize, Maximize!" Being in transformation lock, Dinobot cannot transform.

"Hey. You...You okay Chopperface?" Rattrap checked on Dinobot.

"I, I can't transform!" Dinobot gasped.

The Lens circled behind Rattrap.

"Look out!" Silverbolt warned.

"Must be that gizmo of Meg..." the Lens fired at Rattrap, forcing him on Beast Mode. "Ah no..."

"Ah yessss." Megatron knocked both Dinobot and Rattrap out with a missile.

"Your time has come Optimus." Tarantulas taunted grasping Primal by the throat and wrestling to keep his sword away from his face.

"Guess again." Primal prepared his wrist cannon at Tarantulas.

"Oh no." Tarantulas said as Primal fired, blowing a hole through Tarantulas then blasts him off again. He'd soon get blasted by the Transformation Lock Lens.

"NO!" Primal moaned being forced back to Beast Mode.

"NO!" Prime shouted.

"Your dreams of returning to Cybertron are over Optimus." Megatron fired at the array, Primal gasps and uses an I-beam to deflect the missile before it heads to the beam. The explosion knocks Primal down. He tried to get up, but Megatron steps on his back.

 "Very resourceful. But in the end, the result is the same, yess!" Megatron prepares to fire at the array again, but he was interrupted with a finger tapping him in the shoulder.

"Don't count on it motor-head." Rhinox quipped, then knocked Megatron off his leader with a fist to his face. Sending the Predacon lord flying a few feet away.

"YES!" Cliffjumper cheered.

"Calvary's arrived!" Smokescreen joined in.

Rhinox checked in Primal "Optimus..."

"I'll be alright. The array. There isn't much time."

Rhinox turns to the array and activates the long-range signal 

[On-line.]

Primal saw the TLL aiming at Rhinox.

"Rhinox..." Primal warned.

"Hold on, I'm almost finished." (Cliffjumper: No, for Primus' sake, behind you!) "All I have to do now is enter the code." 

Before he can, the Lens fires, forcing Rhinox back to Beast Mode and dropping the code.

"NO!" said both Rhinox and some of the audience.

"Rhinox maximize!" he could not transform then grabs the code and turns to Primal "You've got to enter the rest of the code. I can't do it in this form."

Megatron laughs in triumph "How sad. No Predacon will become a Maximal prisoner while I rule." then prepares to fire at the array again.

"Megatron, no..." Primal begged, but it falls on deaf audio receptors as Megatron eventually obliterates the array, just in time as the probe passes the planet.

"NO!" said the young Autobots.

Their elders were as shocked as well.

"Delightful. Now just one more thing..." Megatron, now victorious and confident, attempts to finish off the Maximals while they remained in transformation Lock, but he gets interrupted when the Lens is destroyed by Cheetor.

"Time for you to decorate a cage Megadork." Cheetor proclaims; him and Tigatron were too late.

"I think not. Cybertron won't find you now and the war will go on. Until I am the victor." Megatron leaps, fleeing by leaping over the downed Maximals.

Cheetor checked on his injured comrades "Did we get our signal to the Probe? Are we going home?"

Primal groaned and replied "Not today, Cheetor. But someday."

The Maximals eventually mulled in demoralization; now let down by their defeat. The probe enters the transwarp barrier back to Cybertron.

The Predacons had succeeded in their attack. There is no hope for reinforcements nor extraction. The Beast Wars will continue.

The Autobots were demoralized to know that the Maximals will not come home. They had overestimated their chances.

"Man..."

"It ain't every day the Maximals win, Jazz." Bulkhead assured.

"Yeah, but still, I'm itchin' to see- what was that?"

"More arrivals. I believe you are familiar with them, Megatron?"

Megatron narrowed his eyes.

Several more Sparks made an arrival, revealing old friends of the Autobots...

Soundwave, Shockwave, Breakdown, Barricade and the Combaticons. Onslaught, Brawl, Vortex, Blast Off, and Swindle.

"Whoa! Where the heck are we?"

"Planet: Cybertron. Location: Unknown."

"Unknown? Well, I'd be- Autobots!"

The Decepticons prepared their fists to attack their hated enemies, but Megatron blasts a hole through the roof.

"STAND DOWN! NOW!"

"Lord Megatron!" Brawl barked, but Megatron repeated.

"I said stand down! That is a direct order!"

"You heard him, Combaticons, stand down! Something's not right..."

"Lord Megatron, may you please explain why we are not engaging the Autobots?" Shockwave asked.

"Perhaps, when I explain it to you..."

After an hour later, the Decepticons were stunned to hear the news, but were now at a loss of identity, and were not sure if they ever were to continue the fight against the Autobots.

"Auto-buckets! Here's a deal for you..."

The Autobots opened up their audio receptors to Onslaught's terms, but Jazz rolled his eyes.

"Oh man, here we go again..." he muttered.
