"I'll get him!" They tried to dogpile Tigatron, but the snow tiger Maximal found another hole that the Predacons neglected to fix and leaped through, causing both Predacons to crash at each other instead. Much to Megatron's displeasure.
The former Cons laughed while some facepalmed.
"Incompetents." sighed Onslaught.
"Even the Vehicons could get the job done." stated Starscream while he cackled at the show of ineptitude.
Their former enemies caught up with their laughter. Well, most of them, only the hardened and the professional Autobots were not affected.
On the outskirts of the Darksyde, Rattrap notices Tigatron making a break out of the Predacon ship. "There's th' signal! Tigatron the Barbarian is doin' a bailout!" he hailed as Rhinox and Cheetor were done setting up something. "Then we're on our way! Optimus Primal, MAXIMIZE!" and transformed, boosting his jets to his destination.
Seeing Tigatron being chased by the Predacons, Dinobot notifies "The cat is being overtaken. I will engage. MAXIMIZE!" he transforms, preparing for battle.
"Negative, Dinobot! No weapons!" Primal belayed. "We Maximals will maintain the truce!"
"But we must stop them!" Dinobot objected.
"How are you going to do that without attacking the Predacons?" asked Smokescreen.
"Primal wouldn't need to attack them directly, but maybe if-" Perceptor was cut off.
"I know. But we must do it......peacefully." Primal argued. Dinobot transformed back to Beast Mode and looked at a boulder.
If he was going to take care of the Predacons without violating the truce... he might as well do so in the most indirect way possible.
"Never thought you were the improvising type, Dino-boy. But I guess you gotta do what you gotta without breaking the truce." Grimlock commented.
Airazor caught up with Primal and pointed out to Inferno. They stopped their flight.
"How're we going to handle this?" she asked.
"Improvise with what we've got!" he ordered and boosted off, leaving Airazor. Once Inferno spotted her, he attempted to close in towards the falcon Maximal, but he was interrupted by Primal who waved amicably towards him, and then ripped off his wires, disabling Inferno's flight systems as he was sent falling to the ground.
Before long, laughter amongst most of the audience erupted. Only the most hardened (such as Prime, Ratchet, Ultra Magnus, Onslaught, Dreadwing, Shockwave, Soundwave and Predaking and also Megatron) were not affected.
Just as Terrorsaur was closing in towards Tigatron, he leaped off to his comrades, prompting Rhinox and Cheetor to spring their trap. Terrorsaur fell for it and crashed towards their steel wall.
Elsewhere, as Blackarachnia and Tarantulas looked around, they found a seemingly unsuspecting Dinobot and prepare to close towards him, but before long, they fell into his trap. Suspecting that Dinobot left behind a hole behind a veil of leaves that was in their way, they leaped forward, but the simultaneous leaping caused a bit of a seismic turmoil that caused the boulder to suddenly fall upon them. Dinobot looked as if he innately said 'Suckers.' and walked away.
Grimlock and his Dinobots laughed much harder than that.
"When I see this bot, I'm adding him to the Dinobots! Right boys?!"
"Heck yes!" replied Swoop, Sludge and Slug.
Terrorsaur pulled his head out the wall by transforming, then saw Rattrap holding a red veil of cloth, which he used to wave tauntingly at Rattrap.
"Hehehe, those Spanish humans... always risking their lives for the bulls, do they?" asked Knockout.
Cliffjumper felt challenged. He wanted to go against a bull, but given how dangerous they are, he decided it was worth the risk.
"Don't you do it, Cliff." Arcee warned.
Enraged, he charged like a mad bull, but Rattrap pulled the cloth out of way, prompting Terrorsaur to crash into Rhinox's backside.
Now the audience could not help but laugh much harder. Most of them.
"Peaceful."
"Very peaceful." Primal caught up with Dinobot's point.
The Maximals had beaten the Predacons without even firing a shot that could violate the truce.
"It seems Primal has done well to impress me with that improvisation stage." Prime acknowledged.
"All without even firing a shot." Ultra Magnus added.
"Just like when the nerds prank the jocks." Once everyone looked at Knockout he said "What? I've done time in Earth. Blame me."
"Darn. He got away." Scorponok cursed once the Predacons were carried back by Blackarachnia and a limping Tarantulas."It was close, though."
"You think, fool?!" questioned Starscream.
"Yes. When one is serving bait, presentation is everything." Megatron gloated then he looked at the Golden Disk. It didn't matter, he was just lucky that they didn't steal the Disk itself. Though he should have been concerned now that the Maximals found out about the Disk now.
The majority of the audience stopped their laughter soon after.
In the exterior of the Axalon, the Maximals regrouped.
"Sounds like we got back just in time." Airazor quipped.
"So, Tigatron. Now that the fun's over, how about filling us in?" asked Primal.
"Megatron has found a strange golden disk of alien manufacture." Tigatron pointed out. "It was activated recently. "That was the energy anomaly I noticed."
"Another Golden Disk..." Primal stressed. The presence of another Golden Disk, as if it couldn't get worse than that. "Coincidence?" he asked Rhinox.
"Maybe." the rhino Maximal replied, unsure of the revelation.
"It has moving symbols on it. Megatron has translated them." Tigatron clarified.
"Cool! What's it say?" Cheetor asked.
"I don't think the aliens are gonna be pleased that you messed with their tech, kid." Ironhide pointed out.
"It was designed to be a beacon. The aliens... the ones who seeded this planet with energon; the ones who created that flying island that almost destroyed us..." Tigatron delivered with grim tidings laced in his voice.
"Yes? What are you saying? What have you discovered?" Thunder roared, proving that the news may not sound pleasing as it may.
"This doesn't sound good..." said Swindle frighteningly.
"They're coming. They're on their way here. And I don't think they're very happy."
Most of the audience left out cartoonish gulps. The aliens have found out what they were doing.
"Well. That's just Prime." Primal sighed.
The Maximals now were frightened by the revelation of the arrival of the aliens. And now that their response has been displeasing, they can only hope that a proper response of reason can come in hand.
While everyone felt the cold chills (mainly those who had seen the alien probe firsthand) about the alien response... may Primus help the Maximals now. And pray the aliens grant them mercy.
Prime on the other hand was silent as the cold night. The revelation of the Golden Disks, he had heard the legends that they were messages sent by no other than Primus himself as instructions on how Cybertronian society should be made. Left to guide and unite the primitive Cybertronian clans into a unified society that forged the cities that were in construction today, the Disks themselves guided Cybertron to the transforming mechanical powerhouse it was before. Today, it was still under heavy rebuilding.
"Optimus, are you okay?" asked Ratchet.
"Ratchet... those Golden Disks. I will have to look upon the archives or any rebuilt remains that Alpha Trion had left behind prior to his deactivation. He must have anything regarding those Disks in hand, I am sure of it. But right after we finish our viewing. Is the Iacon archives rebuilt?"
"Nearly, Commander. We've only finished it's interior." Ultra Magnus replied.
"Then finish the Archives with who you can trust, lieutenant. I have a feeling that there is more than what Alpha Trion hadn't told us... yet."
