Avantika's Pov

After a much tiring day, I jumped on my bed. I was stinking with sweat due to so much heat outside so I decided to take a shower first.

After a good 15 mins bath I came out wrapped in towel as due to tiredness I forgot my clothes.

I put on Kajol's song 'Mere Khwabo Mein Jo aaye'. I chuckled finding myself in the same look as her in the song.

Vibing to the music I stood in front of the mirror applying body lotion.

These lines caught my attention and I drifted into thoughts of my soon to be fiance.

A blush crept over my face as I thought 'soon to be fiance'.

These lines perfectly justify my feelings right now. His presence, his talks, his mere words did some magic on me and my heart. My heart found the beats it lost years ago. Once again I am feeling to live again.

His talks were short and limited that day too but the deepness they held were phenomenal. I doubt what would happen to my heart the day we will talk for hours.

My thoughts came to halt when my phone rang. I picked it up quickly as it was from Yash.

"Hello" I said.

" Hello....voice clear?" She asked.

"Perfect...Did you see the picture I sent" I asked her.

"Yeah...but...don't you think it's too simple. Like it's plain completely" She said.

I doubt my choice now.

"When I asked him about his preference he said he likes simplicity" I paused then said in a slow voice "Just like me"

"He said that?" She asked.

"Hmm...that's why I thought it as perfect"

"Here's a tip Vani, see it's beautiful too but remember he is from a royal family. Whenever you buy something for him think from the aspect of royalty" She said.

But I countered "What if it's from heart but not royal....Will he reject it. I am also no royal but a simple girl, if it's the case then he should reject me too"

She huffed and said "You are taking it wrong. What I mean is that what you chose now for him will be seen by everyone including other dynasties, media etc etc."

"I don't know Yash but when I saw this design his words rang in my head and even after going through other designs I was only convinced by this"

She said "If it is so then let it be...Finalise this, may be your and his bond of love will itself make it royal"

Love....I doubt it.

"Yash...there's no lov-"

She cut me off in between and spoke "I know you don't love each other right now, of course it's been only a few days but I am sure one day you will definitely....So I am talking about the future...chill"

I could just hum while she cut the call saying her mother in law asked for her.

I changed into my loose t shirt and shorts and sat on my bed.

I pulled out a box from my bag and opened it to see the ring I bought for him.

Flashback

When we were exiting the store my eyes fell on a pamphlet with lots of engagement rings design.

I asked Bdi mummy and Bhabhi to leave in their car while I would come later after finishing a work.

As they left I settled on the chair and went through the designs.

My eyes settled on a gold plain ring. Even though I checked other designs but it was something different may be because it was completely plain.

This ring reminded me only his words 'I love simplicity'

"What's the price of this one" I asked the salesperson there who replied "68000 mam and as it is new collection so there's 10% discount" He calculated it and then said "It's final price will be 61200"

I thought for a second but then I thought 'why to think'

I agreed and payed the price by my card. Right now no one knows I bought the ring so the first person I decided to tell was Yash. I sent her the pic but she didn't reply that time so I texted her to call me once she sees the picture.

Present

I closed the box and took it with me to the hall. I sat on the couch beside Vihaan who was busy finding some fonts on his tab.

"What are you doing" I asked as I peeped into his tab.

"Finding a perfect font" He answered still busy.

"Any project work" I again asked.

"Yep...project of designing my sister's engagement card" He said smiling at me.

I smiled back and ruffled his hairs.

"Tch...Dii not hairs, they are precious" He whined.

"Dii...not hairs" I mocked him.

"Dii what's in your hands" Ahaan asked pointing at the box in my hands.

"Um.....call Bdi mummy first. Then I'll show you all together' I asked him.

He called Bdi mummy who came and settled beside him.

I passed her the box and she looked at me in confusion.

"Open it" I told her.

She opened and I heard two gasps one of Omaya and other of Ahaan.

"Is it for.....Prithvi" Bdi mummy questioned.

I nodded and then I heard two shouts 'Aahh'
Again of those two idiots.

'So shining'
'Gold'

Everyone turn by turn looked at it and then returned back to me.

"How's it" I asked with hope.

"Really nice" Chachu said.

"In this case No one's thoughts matter but yours. If you liked this then there can be nothing more perfect than this" Bde papa said.

I smiled and asked "Won't you ask the price"

"No and I knew you would buy from your money so I already transferred 50000 in your account" Papa said.

I looked at him shock and checked text from bank that came yesterday.

"Papa" I whined.

He laughed and said "I know my daughter"

Later, we all had dinner together and then drifted to sleep as I was really tired.

Prithvi's Pov

The best quality in me is to hide my expressions at every fucking situation but whenever someone talks about HER either to me or someone else.....I Fail to do so. And right now I am hating the fact that I can't control my emotions to stop flowing in front of any fucking one.

Flashback
After dinner, I was moving towards my room when Neil called me.

I thought to ignore him and go to my room but his next sentence made me turn my feet towards him.

"We are going through Avantika Bhabhi's insta profile"

This is not me who goes on stalking someone but as I said I am unable to control my emotions when it comes to HER.

"Ooo...this is Karan bhai's wedding pictures" Pritha said and I looked at the laptop screen.

Her one pic caught my attention. The Lavender Dress.

I smiled thinking the first name I gave her when I didn't know her real name and till today I never called her by her name except for a few times.

"See her recent story" Neil said.

"She has reposted Omaya's story...I saw Omaya's too....They were shopping for the engagement today" Pritha stated.

So she was shopping for our engagement when I saw her.

"Bhai see, Pichola lake....She has visited Udaipur"

His this statement took whole of my attention. She visited Udaipur and I never saw her let alone meet her.

I snatched laptop from Neil and scrolled through other pictures of hers in Udaipur.

She was there with her friends 5 years ago.

"Bhai....you can zoom in and out her picture in your phone. Desperate enough hnn!!" Pritha teased me.

I realised what I did and without replying to anyone I left the place and entered my room.

I hate the fact of not able to handle myself when it's her.

I took out a cigarette out of the drawer and stood in the balcony.

Present
I took a puff and smoked it out thinking about her.

It's not like I hate having feelings about her but except her nobody else has the right to see or feel them.

I took out my phone thinking to call her. I saw the time '10:34'

I decided to message her first to see if she was awake or not. It was obvious I didn't want to disturb her sleep if she slept.

'Awake?'

I was continuously checking upon the text but no reply. Now it was almost half hour that means she either slept or was busy.

I stuffed my phone back in my pocket and looked outside at the silent road.

It was 11:30 when I laid down on the bed with both arms under my head and my eyes gazing the ceiling. Soon I drifted to sleep.

My sleep disturbed when I felt sun rays hitting on my face and a small figure lying near me.

I adjusted my eyes to the light and turned my face to see my princess lying beside me. Her head was on my bicep and her one arm on my stomach.

I caressed her hairs and adjusted her comfortably on the bed. I kissed her forehead and thought.

'My little princess is growing faster'

I covered her properly with duvet and went to bathroom to freshen up.

I changed into t shirt and track pants and came out from the bathroom.

I saw Pritha sitting on the bed squinting her eyes due to sunlight. I pulled the curtains a little and she opened her eyes and yawned while saying.

"Good morning bhai"

"Good morning Princess" I wished her back giving her water.

She drank it and told me "I was scared alone in the room. I went to Shubh bhai's room but Neil bhai was sleeping there so I came to your room to sleep"

"Both of you watched horror movie again" I asked raising my eyebrows.

She smiled sheepishly and nodded her head.

I shook my head at her antics and asked her to go and freshen up.

She went to her room while I went for jogging.

While jogging I remembered about the ring selection today. After a jog for half an hour I went to gym for some exercise.

It was 8:30 AM when I returned to my room. After drying up the sweat I took a bath and changed into my formals and left for office without having breakfast.

I reached office where I saw the branch manager looking for something in my cabin drawer.

I stood silently at the door with my hands in my pant's pocket and my eyes gazing at him.

He took out some papers from my drawer and turned only to find me standing with Adwait behind me.

"He is doing fraud in the company" Adwait whispered.

"You sure?" I asked him in slow yet audible voice.

"I've got to know from the sources" He whispered back.

I nodded and stepped forward.

"What's with these papers" I asked the branch manager.

"Ab...sir....there were some corrections required in them so I was taking them back" He lied.

"Put them back and leave...I'll let you know if any corrections will be needed" I ordered him which he silently followed and left the room.

"Keep a tight eye on him" I ordered Adwait to which he nodded and left.

I sat on my chair and saw the heading on the paper.

'Rose Bliss'

It's the new beverage drink our company was launching. Delhi branch deals with the beverage items and this was their new project.

He was trying to steal these papers and definitely sell them to the other company. But the questions was 'which company'.

I put the papers back in the drawer and then started going through the mails.

It was 11 when landline of my cabin rang. I picked it up and receptionist asked me if I called a girl from Jewellery store.

I instantly remembered and asked her to guide her to my office.

Withing a few minutes my door knocked and I muttered 'come in'

The girl entered the cabin and I guided her to sit on the couch. I sat on the single couch while she sat on double couch.

She forwarded me the pamphlet of the designs and started telling about the meaning of each design.

"Sir this crown design says that your partner is the queen of your heart"

She will definitely be the one.

"This design depicts hug while this one is the promise ring"

"This one?" I asked her pointing at one of the designs.

"Sir, this one conveys your support...there are more designs with the meaning of support"

"This is infinity ring...meaning loving or being with your partner till infinity and similar to this one is this infinity knot ring depicting the bond that is knot for infinity and it depicts all the emotions one has either love, support or strength"

"And their pric-" Before she could say I cut her off and said "Don't worry about the price and I'll go with this one"

"Sure sir, I'll deliver it to you by this evening and you can pay me after getting the delivery"

"Tell me the price and I'll pay it right now" I said to her but she confronted saying " No sir, my ethics won't allow this"

I was impressed by her business idea and a thought strike to me.

"Do you want to join Sisodia Industries"

She looked at me in shock and asked "Sisodia industries?"

I nodded and her next questions astonished me "You work in Sisodia industry"

I chuckled internally at her words and said
"I am CEO of Sisodia Industries, Prithvijit Singh Sisodia, Miss?" I asked her.

"Prachi" She told me her name.

"So Miss Prachi, I would like you to be our family jeweller. You will be paid as per your choice and if you want we can provide you a living space in Udaipur if you wish to shift there"

"Sir please don't joke around me" She said standing up.

I stood up too and said "I am not joking. I am actually asking you to join the family jeweller of ours who will guide you further. He is our jeweller for years and joining him will benefit you and once experienced you can start your own business"

She was still not convinced. No one will, Sisodia's never themselves offer job to someone but talent needs to be risen up.

I called Vikrant and asked him to instantly prepare deal papers and I gave him all the information.

Withing 10 mins Vikrant mailed me the papers. I asked the receptionist to get printout of them which she did quickly.

"Sir, you won't kick me off from the job anytime" She asked me.

"No, but once you settle up your business we would still want you to be our family jeweller" I put the condition.

"Deal sir" She chirped happily and signed the papers.

She was just like Pritha to me.

I asked her to come to my address tomorrow in the evening where she would meet with the ladies and help them with the shopping.

Once she exited my cabin I called Shubh in my office.

"Yes Bhai" He said entering the cabin.

Their habit of not knocking.

"Knock before entering" I scolded him.

"Sorry" He muttered and turned back to replay.

Aghhhh!!!

"Stop and sit here" I ordered him.

He obediently sat while I continued "You need to arrange an apartment in Udaipur and with that I want you to settle Jewellery business"

He looked at me shock and confusion.

"There's a girl Prachi, a very talented jewellery designer but she doesn't have enough resources and support to start her own business. She will be coming tomorrow evening at home as the family jeweller"

"But we have one" He countered back.

"I've talked to him. She will work under him to gain experience but still I want you to help her in starting her own business and teach her the business ethics"

"Why me Bhaisa" He questioned and I knew he would.

"Because it's time for you to prove yourself. Each one of us either me or Baba Sa or Kaku Sa" I took a deep breath and mentioned "Or Bhaisa"

He looked at me and I continued "We all started our own business under Sisodia Industries. Like I started a hand watch company, 'Karatime', Baba Sa and Kaku Sa started construction company, 'StructureCo', also Bhaisa started this beverage company, 'BevFresh', now it has to be you"

"Ji Bhaisa.....I'll give my best" He understood my words and asked for my leave which I gave him.

I took a deep breath remembering the best moment of my life.

Flashback, 14 years back

"It's a moment of pride for me as I announce the launching of 'BevFresh' the first beverage company of Sisodia's by my Elder Son Parth Singh Sisodia" Baba Sa proudly announced.

I was smiling whole heartedly standing down the stage watching Baba Sa proudly hugging Bhaisa.

It was the launch of Bhaisa's company which he started on his own. It might be under Sisodia's but it just included his hardwork and dedication.

They all stepped down the stage and I hugged Bhaisa.

"You are my idol Bhaisa" I muttered near his neck.

He patted my back but before he could say something we heard a girly voice.

"Parth"

We turned and saw Suhana Di, Bhaisa's secretary. Bhaisa went towards her leaving all of us standing there.

Present
I closed my eyes in frustration and anger.

The moment I opened my eyes I could feel them burning in anger.

She separated my brother from me. She separated the pride of Sisodia from us. Because of her we lost our brother.
